nice guy
This guy knows his stuff. He can sometimes act like he's your mom, and has no problem talking to adults like they're kids. I personally wouldn't take his class again, but can't say he's not good at teaching biology
His English is hard to understand. He gets annoyed when he isn't totally understood and doesn't like to re-explain things.
I liked the way he lectures. You learn a lot form his class. His tests are "fill in the blank" or short essay questiones. Not easy but fair.
Good teacher who explains things in clear and interesting way.
Very good lectures. His quizes and tests are from his lectures. Tests are not hard.
Good teacher! Interesting, informative class! Tests are not hard.
His English is hard to understand. He tends to soapbox about the sad state of schooling in the US and complains non-stop about how poor Truman is. But he is very organized and it is easy to track your progress in his course.
If you take REALLY GOOD notes in his class then you will get an A. Doesnt cover everything in the chapter. only on selected topics. He knows his stuff and is very intelligent. Just study study study!!
He yells at students who don't answer questions correctly (and sometimes when they ask questions on the material) during in-class discussion. He's funny at times but inconsistant in the way he covers material during lectures. He has stated more than once that the textbook is "wrong." Also, I think he's sort of bigoted.
I took a nutrition class with him and he would put people down because they were over weight. Also, he would sometimes humiliate you in from of the class if you had a low grade in one of your quizes. I would not recomend him, atleast not for nutrition.
Completely unprofessional! Doesn't help students. Yells at students and made a women cry in class.
Easy class.
He was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and useless. He taught a 100 level Biology course as if it was a 400 level course. He has the gift of making students feel really stupid too. I highly discourage anyone to take one of his courses.
Buyer beware! I am a returning student (have two other degrees), and he is, perhaps, one of the worst instructors I have ever had! This class has the potential to be both fun and pleasant and he makes it just torture. He says inappropriate things in class (I think it may be cultural), and is quite rude. Also, do not believe him when he says tha
I don't recommend Wang if you're looking for an easy A. There is no room for error in his class. I wont be taking another course with him! He treats people like they're children.
I have mixed feelings about Prof. Wang. I felt I learned a lot in his class, but he certainly had an abrasive style (see other comments on this site for proof!). His tests and quizzes were hard, and I squeeked by with an A (which I felt he gave me only grudgingly). There are probably better 121 teachers out there.
This is one of the rudest professors I have veer had, he gives you to many quizes that are imposible for you to pass. He hate's explaining things so if you want to pay for a class in where you are always treated like a stupid person go ahead other wise i dont recomend this professor to nobody. Dont waste your time and money!
Tips: Take very clear lecture notes and always study them very carefully before quizzes. Quizzes and exams are what makes or breaks your grade. Take every point seriously because Prof Wang does not give them out freely. It took me awhile to understand his teaching style, but once its understood, you can do well in his class.
Dr. Wang is rude to his students. Always talks about how poor Truman is. He will not explain questions you might have about something in class. Will talk down to students that do not understand the material. Will not repeat himself.
this is the worst professor i have ever had. although he knows his material, i would never call him a teacher. he seems to pride himself on the fact that no one does well in his class, whereas a good professor would normally be deeply ashamed that most of his students are underperforming. it is not a reflection of the student, but of the professor.
This professor is by far the worst professor I have had thusfar. He is argumentative when it isn't appropriate, and defensive when asked to clarify what is expected for assignments. I will never take a class of his again. I'd rather not finish my degree.
He is the worst teacher ever. He yells at students and if you ask him a question he makes you feel stupid and doesn't like to explain himself over again, though he says to if you need help. He always talks about how Truman is poor and thinks he should win a noble prize b/c he corrects little mistakes in the book.I would not take his class ever again
Great sense of humor. Very knowledgable and VERY particular, especially when grading answers on quizzes. He always explains why you got it wrong and he is usually correct. He has little patience for repeating himself, so if you don't get it the first time, google the subject or read your book. I would take from him again!
Prof. Wang is a particular instructor. He wants things stated in the way that he spoke them & spelling & gram mistakes are seen as mistakes. He is a details man. If you take his class, be prepared to put in the work. He is interpreted as rude, but I think is excitement. This is not an easy A... but then again, it's college, folks.
Prof Xingwu Wang really is a great teacher. He's one of the better lecturers I've ever had. His knowledge of the subject is encyclopedic. I do see how folks find him overly strict. However, I think the man has a strong work ethic and expects his students to make the effort to think. Slackers should seek another instructor to waste their time with.

The worse professor, I ever had in life!!!! I am not joking, I already have a B.S in public health from another University, and have to retake my science courses over since they are over 5yrs old... So I have had plenty of expericence with professors, some good , some bad... but he is the worse!!! Dont sign up for any of his sections...
You have to exert more time and effort to study and forget other subjects and concentrate on him. He has his own definition of terminology in exam if your answer is different than his, therefore you are wrong or you will get half point. he screams, and defensive when asked. Since he graduated in China, his teaching style is not set in American sett
Very arrogant and not easy to approach! Needs people skills. Even though he is very smart, he puts down Truman College and is very standoff-ish..wouldn't recommend him!
Mr.Wang, he is extremely well versed in biology, however his social ineptness and snide remarks make for not only a horrible experience, but a horrible teacher.
Chinese mentality of tearing you down to build you up. Structures lectures very well but seemingly with the intent to trick students. It's very unfortunate that he makes it nearly impossible to build yourself a foundation from this overly chaotic learning environment. Not a good intro class AT ALL.
Do not take him if you dont want to waste your time. Has a horrible teaching method, Humility is never his forte. No doubt that he knows his stuff that's why his a professor but part of teaching is accommodating students to their level of needs and treating them with respect- and these my friends he does NOT have.
If you have patience and a willpower to study, then take him. Very particular and must be concise in the answers to your quizzes. EVERY POINT COUNTS! If u do good in that, the exam is fairly okay. The lab reports are fair, if u put in the work. Schedule ur courses carefully, because he is overwhelming at times. AND take good/clear notes.
He is very strict. Sometimes he'll yell at you but if you don't take it personally, you'll learn a lot in his class. He's actually pretty nice outside of the class. This isn't an easy 'A' so if that's what you are looking for, his class isn't it. He does lecture well and explains materials clearly.
He is aweful. Avoid being called on in class if you are wrong he will put you down. If you ask him what you can to study better he will not answer and all he will say is I'm so sorry how helpful is that.He will break you. Then he lied and said the school does not have forms to fill out evaluating him. He lied admissions stated that was not true
he was a very intelligent man however lacked the finesse to teach this class as an intro. course. tended to treat people with lesser respect and unintentionally belittle them when they asked questions.
He is a very smart man, but he loves to intimidate students. If he would use his kowledge to help you he could be a graet instructor. If you ask for help as far as how to better your grade he does not answer. His only comment is I so sorry. DO Not SIGN up for his class atleast 10 student maybe more dropped and one was a biology teacher
I had Wang for Nutrition. It was harder than I thought but I am not good at science. The professor is fair and very nice. He follows the book closely, but the quiz at every class is based on the previous lecture, so don't miss a class unless it's an emergency. Also, he's kind about make up tests. He's funny and it helps. He's great.
Very knowledgeable but pretty nasty at times, don't talk to him if it can be avoided. Be prepared to put in extra effort for a A. The material is really interesting and presented well. Tip: read the book and takes notes on the chapters BEFORE his lecture and then take good notes during lecture. Practice spelling, you will lose points for it.
Surely, he knew his stuff. But he's a crazed maniac. His microbiology class was absolutely ridiculous. Who cares about biology? Doesn't he realize people only take it because they have to? To pass his class, you have to work harder and study more than you would for a calculus class. Knows his stuff, yes, but the class is way too demanding.
He obviously enjoys what he does but mostly that includes breaking students down and finding new ways to frustrate them. Very knowledgeable, fairly nice, but be prepared to spend some time studying if you even want to pass the class. Having said that though, I'm taking him again for nutrition. Even though he loves to bust balls, I really did learn.
Worst prof ever! Have BA, 3.5 Depaul, A's in all sciences, have to retake for medical program. I can't say I've had a worse teacher. This subject is very easy and fun, I feel sorry for those dissuaded by this clown. My favorite Wangism: tell students to answer question, laugh while saying "haha, i knew you'd do that, haha, no problem, do again"
This class was awful! He acts like he's the greatest teacher ever but quizzes on completely random things and takes points off for VERY minor things. He seemed to get angry at me when I knew answers and would try to trip me up with follow up questions. Other students ended up asking me questions instead of asking him.
He is a good professor but he is too strict. The quizzes (every week)are really hard but the tests are not. So it is really hard to get an A because of the quizzes. He is rude sometimes; his rudeness might put you down. Try to avoid to speak in class, he might humilate you (especially when you interrupt his thoughts).
This guy really knows his stuff and was actually very enjoyable to learn from. That being said, his weekly short answer quizzes were strict to a fault on how you stated your answer, despite knowing the concept hands down. Tests demand very detailed knowledge of every chapter and he loves to throw curveballs, so that's just more work on your part.
Teacher knows his stuff for sure but this is a Biology 121 class. The stuff he expects you to learn is ridiculous. His quizzes are the worst ever. He tries tricking you so that it trips you up and you start doubting what you know. Started with about 40 students and now have about 20. Told 4 students to go home and drop cause they wouldn't pass.
The class starts out easy and he starts out teaching well. But especially after the midterm it got harder. The quizzes are so hard to pass. There are ten questions and 5 would be what you would be able to answer the rest is very minor detailed questions that very few people would know.Don't take this class!! By the end class there was 15 left of 30
Dr. Wang was a fun & interesting prof, but he lost his fire mid-semester. His nutrition quizzes & tests are from the lecture slides (avail on coursecompass -buy the CD, not the book). Never opened the book, just went to class & studied the ppts for ~ 1hr before class. Final not cumulative, but WAY harder than midterm. Good prof, could be great...
I took this class in preparation for the MCAT and I will say that it is a difficult class because the material is broad. I'm not sure he makes it any more difficult. He does like to trick his students and has a big ego. However, I am glad I took him for 121 as the amount I was forced to learn was invaluable for the MCAT.
prof wang's classes are always interesting. the man is definitely passionate about what he does. his lectures are really concise and they flow really well. by no means is his class easy but all quizs and exams are basically word for word from his lectures. take good notes and study hard
If you've ever wanted to teach yourself Biology, you've found the guy to inspire you. Dr. Wang started off being organized and clear, but has become a rude, callous man. He loudly berates students for asking questions and often makes mistakes in lectures, then denies it. His tests are tricky and his lectures are incoherent. Take a different class.
This professor is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Trust what others have written about him when they say he's hard and tries to trick students with the quizzes. Why would you want to trick students who are trying to learn? he LOVES when students get answers wrong. And I'm a person who actually likes biology but he made it impossible.
He is the worst teacher that I've had. He is hard to understand when he lectures. He doesn't follow the book which makes it even harder to follow him. His quizzes are only based on his lecture which is a problem since he doesn't explain things well in his lectures. I dropped the class because I didn't see myself doing well in his class.
HORRIBLE teacher! english is broken so he is very hard to understand. if your answer isn't exactly what he wants then you are WRONG! i hated going to his classes and you will too!
You should have no trouble getting an A if you just learn to take good notes. He pretty much tells you everything that is important. You will have a quiz every week and if you just put in 2 or 3 hours per week studying your notes you will get an A on the quiz and breeze through the test. Put the time in per week and you will get a deserved A.
Professor Wang is a great teacher. He expects people to learn & pay atttention. Most people complain because they want 'easy'. This is far from an 'easy' class. His quizzes and tests are only from his notes, so if you pay attention and study, you'll get a good grade. He knows the material like the back of his hand & learning from him is worth it!
I do NOT recommend Mr. Wang. He's very rude. He has a short temper, has occasionally blown up & started yelling at students. Not all of his info on nutrition is accurate, I know this for a fact. And your quiz answers must be EXACT. For example.. blood carries nutrients thru the body. If you put blood transports nutrients thru the body, it's wrong!!
He is a good teacher. He knows his material very well and always try to make things easy. and I just needed to take good notes, did all the experients, and handed over homeworks. The quizzes were baced on his lactures, and reading the textbook helped me better understand his lactures. I got full marks on the final and got an A for this class.
Dr. Wang starts explaining things then goes on tangents about more advanced topics and waits until after he's done to tell us we don't need to know that topic. Quiz answers must be EXACTLY as he wants them or you lose points. His questions don't make sense typically, they either contradict themselves or they go in circles.
This professor is very very fair. He is a good guy and smart professor, it all depends on you relationship with him. He was never mean to me. He is very fair!
First half of semester was easy, & second half of semester is a lot of material. U must take good notes because he gives no handouts, don't use powerpoints,& don't like it when u ask questions. He thinks that all questions are dumb and he will literally put you down if you don't understand something. He doesn't care about his students bottom line.
he just isn't helpful. raise a question and expect to be scolded. his material is fair and he does have a passion for the subject, but the interests of his students isn't a priority. if you're juggling a lot of other subjects and have work and family to consider, don't add this to the heap of your problems.
Attendace is not mandatory, but, if you miss class you'll be lost(if you miss a lab can't make up). All quizes and tests are from notes. Defintley need text book to follow in class and to re-write & clarify notes from his lectures. His quizes and test are written a bit tricky so you really need to understand the material no guessing going on.
Horrible professor! Besides being very demeaning to his students, his knowledge of the subject he's teaching is very poor. Soy has no effect on estrogen levels? unsweetened tea is not a substitute for water? supplementing amino acids have no effect on the body? etc etc. he's teaching students false information, he should not be allowed to teach!!
He teaches like every other teacher I've had from China. He tells you exactly what you need to know, and then quizzes you on just that. He doesn't take time for questions that are outside of his goals for the class. We had one guy who thought he was smarter than the professor which was very annoying. Bottom line, it's community college bio 1.
He is very hard to deal with he give quizzes and labs every week. I will never take another class with him.:(
Needs to work on communication, yells at students, is not respectful. can be pleasant as a person, can be humorous, but does not listen to what is being asked. has trouble deviating from his "script."
horrible impatient useless teacher he yells when you ask questions and hates to repeat himself he constantly yells "I JUST SAID" before answering students questions
Dr. Wang moves fast and expects you to keep up. It's worth it- he's very smart, and will teach you all the biology you ever wanted to know. He can be a little brash, but it's usually in good fun, and if you work hard you can feel confident dishing it right back. Really enjoyed the class, worked very hard for my B
Great teacher with a unique teaching style. If you attend all classes, listen to every word and take notes you will get an A and earn his respect. The textbook is not clear but, Professor Wang will break it down so you can absorb it. This class is not for those who do not have a good work ethic.
Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable. He has an offbeat sense of humor, but he's great if you're working hard. Grades with raw points, no weight, so you know what your grade is at all times. I would take him again in a heartbeat, and I worked for my B
Saturday, 6-12 hours & Dr. Wang are oilwater. He likes to chastise ADULTS, angry when you approach to ask questions, long lectures - you have to pick what should be noted - he wont write it, no power point, doesn't use BB, intimidates you, expects you to memorize everything bc he hates to repeat himself, not at all helpful, read your book.
Grades quizzes, surfs the web, and lectures--all at the same time: he's been at this too long. Clear on some topics but asks some ridiculous questions on the assessments. Unfair. People complain about his yellingrudeness--true--but my biggest issue is trust. I would not believe a word this guy tells you. Be warned. Take someone else. (I got an A.)
This was the rudest professor I ever. DONT ASK QUESTIONS during the class because he will humiliate you really bad. He is really organized but getting an A is really hard. The biggest deal is that he is lacking with respect towards the student. Take someone else, you won't have a great time in this class. (I got an A)
Dont take him friends seriously he will yell the freak out of u in class. dont ask any question to him cause he will roast u infront of everyone humiliate. plz take someone else.
Yes, he is rude. Yes, he is intimidating. BUT! He IS very good teacher, his lectures are thorough, interesting and helpful. things he tought me just get stuck in my brain. i took him for bio 121. totally recommend if you really want to study. got B. pretty fair.
Book is your best help.
I don't even have him as a professor and he is still rude to me. I have the class that follows his and even though I am told by MY professor that I'm allowed inside, he still manages to kick my peers and I out of our classroom since our professor isn't there to supervise us.
What Dr. Wang lacks in personality, he far makes up for in knowledge & ability to distill lectures into important, necessary material. Dr. Wang teaches what a student in biology must know. If one has questions, Dr. Wang is approachable and will answer questions from students who earnestly want to LEARN. Forget about rude, this guy is BRILLIANT!
I had to drop this class because it was literally making me physicaly sick. I did not learn nor understand anything. We always had a sustitue teaching us and Tried really hard to come home and teach myself to chapters with youtube videos and the softwear we bought masteringbiology he never used. Everything I tried to learn was never on the quizzes.
Bad man, bad attitude, dropped the class. Don't ask any questions to get a better understanding. Why we paid for the book I'm not sure. You can't pass the class by studying the book ,not even close. Rude, don't like people (humans). Love to talk, and lecture, the only problems is he don't lie teaching human.
Rude, dismissive, and argumentative. He encourages students to ask questions or discuss topics every so often in class, but cuts them off and tells them they're wrong without actually helping them understand. He has made comments in class such as "public education has clearly failed you" or "you have no common sense". Is often wrong and unclear.
He is exactly the opposite of helpful. He is rude when students ask questions or are unable to immediately answer his. He "encourages" students to ask questions but 99% of the time, tells them that they're questions are wrong. How can a question be wrong when you're trying to further understand the subject matter. Would not recommend ever.
This is a professor who gets off on torturing students. I can't believe he's ben at Truman 20+ years. He believes America educational system is for dummies, and he treat his students as such. He is not motivating, and his vibe is very negative. Please do not welcome negativity in your life by taking his class. He is inhumane.
By far the worst college professor I've ever had. He was absent for 2 weeks for two weeks for Chinese New Year, constantly yelled at his students when they didn't understand something, he has a terrible accent that makes it extremely hard to understand, and was generally always in a bad mood. Made a student cry once for not understanding mitosis.
Aside from lab, there is really no homework. All you have to do it show up to class(yes every time), take detailed noted (especially when he is talking about lab) and study said notes. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to walk away with anything less than a B. If you cannot handle his class you have no business being in college.
You do need to read the book for Wang's class but you seriously need to take decent notes because his quizzes will test you on things he mentioned in lecture that aren't in the book. He's a tough grader but I was better prepared than most of my classmates when I took 122 and I know it's because I had him.
For someone new to sciences this class is challenging. Add this professor and it's a tough mix. This professor, like many at Truman, loves challenging students with a not so difficult subject. Read the book and you'll do well. Do not rely on your notes or powerpoints you get from the student resources or just avoid this professor.
Dr. Wang can come across as condescending if you ask obvious questions, but if you don't fight it, he will answer them. If he emphasizes something in class repeating it or saying 'this is important' it will be on your quiz/test. Take good notes, ask questions, and follow his specific instructions on the labs. I liked him as my teacher, and learned.
He is an amazing professor. If you take good notes, read the books, and be ready for weekly quizzes and labs, you will definitely get an A plus.
This is the worst teacher you could ever have at Truman. He is so rude and will yell at you in front of the whole class for asking questions. Don't bother to buy the book. you will never use it because according to him " he teaches better than the book. " Expect to write notes fast because he won't slow down for you. He's HORRIBLE! HORRIBLEEEEEE!!
Dr. Wang is brilliant! He knows his stuff! One stupid girl told him she knew the answer, but "I don't want to tell you." He threw her out(GOOD!). Try to rent the book or borrow from the library. I always asked questions even if he didn't want to hear them(I'm not intimidated easily). It was 6 hrs on a Saturday-long day, but I LEARNED! Great man.
Lectures in class are clear and he gives you time to digest the material. Quizzes come directly from lectures, but they're tricky. No homework for this class, and labs are basically free points. The 13 quizzes are what'll decide whether you have an A or a B. Take good notes and review them the morning before class. Unfortunately, no extra credit.
Mr. Wang is the best professor available at Truman college .His grading criteria are clear , if you do what you are supposed to you will pass . He helps his students understand his lectures by relating it to their habits and daily life . i took nutrition with him and it is by far the most exciting and useful class i have had in Truman college .
Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable in this field and due to this, sometimes he lacks patience with students that do not have a science background. Unfortunately, this stopped me from asking questions in class. Overall, the class isn't hard to pass. Study the PowerPoints, take good notes, and do well on the labs and you should be fine.
Dr. Wang is a funny man and he grades quite fairly. He offers extra credit for 30 points if you submit your blood test report, but i find this as an invasion of privacy. There are quizzes at the end of each chapter and mid term tests and final exams and assessment at the end of some chapters. Attendance is not compulsory. Easy to pass class.
PROS: - Instructions are clear and easy to follow - A lot of examples that make the content easier - Objective grader - Evaluations aren't tricky if material is well-studied CONS: - Can be tough to students who don't follow his instructions - Do not fight a score Conclusion: Dr. Wang was an eminence. I wish he would give advanced courses.
While Dr Wang is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is a punctual teacher, there is sometimes a disconnect between him and the student. He can be tough and sometimes has trick questions on his quizzes and exams. However, he cares about your grade and will assist if he can. Asking questions can feel like condescension, but he means well.
He's very knowledgeable at what he knows, but it's his way or no way. If you don't like the way he teaches then you're basically screwed. I would ask questions about certain things I didn't understand and wanted help with, he would answer my questions, but then if I still didn't understand then he would get mad at why you don't get it. Not worth it
He skips around the book a lot. People may not like it but unless a teacher gives you a reason to think they are incompetant you should trust them to give you the info needed to pass their class and you shouldn't tell them they're going in the "wrong" order. I like that he gives breaks to look at material, and gives time to ask questions.
Do not use Professor Wang he is not a good professor I took his course twice spring and fall semester he skipped all around the book and you cannot ask him questions he's never there he's very hard when it comes down to materials he gets attitudes whether you right or he is wrong
Dr. Wang is an excellent professor, an honorable man that dedicates a tremendous amount of time to his work as a college professor. He is intelligent and has a way of explaining materials that makes it easy for students to comprehend. If you are struggling, he offers extra credit assignments. Make it a point to always be on time. Don't be late!!
DO NOT take this class! Class started with 32 students, ended with 12. Prof. Wang YELLS at students for asking questions & for getting questions wrong. Shames students constantly. Marks off points for grading criteria he didn't specify & every question is a trick question. Didn't follow the syllabus. Take this class with a different teacher!!!!
Professor Wang is not professional nor is he there to explain anything. He is a professor with a constant attitude, a real bee hive... wish I took bio with a different professor. His lectures are also in broken English so you will end up rewriting your notes. A true creature of habit, unless you are able to dedicate 3x the time, good luck passing.
If I can rate him a 0 I would. Worst class I ever took. Gets mad when you ask questions. Hes the type of person that believes the class is easy because he knows the information but is horrible in teaching it. You can barely understand what he says most of the time. Save your time and money or you will fail!!
OMG the worst professor I've ever had and I already have a degree. There's no reason that a beginning level class needs to be these difficult. Broken English, handwritten lecture notes, no homework, and any time you have a question he's basically yelling at you for not getting it. All the time, any time.
Professor Wang is a great professor. Bio can be challenging, especially if you do not possess a good foundation in chem. Some colleges wont let you to take bio until you complete gen chem. The information he goes over in class is vital so soak it up while you can!!! I took his class a few years ago and Im still looking at my notes from his class.
If a textbook could yell at you, it would be Mr. Wang. Short temper for students that ask genuine questions and give wrong answers. Then no one wants to ask because he makes students feel stupid. He's so disconnected from his students and the toxic learning environment he created that I would never recommend him for anyone interested in biology.
Don't take his class. He teaches by throwing a bunch of terms he knows and is confused when you don't immediately understand it. He will NOT help students that are struggling with the material but will tell them that this is information they should know. Why are you even teaching us if you aren't going to explain it so students understand it?
He is very genius and helpful.
He was by far the worst professor I've ever had. He lashes out at students, gets frustrated very easily. If you answer a question wrong in class he will belittle you in front of the other students. His quizzes and exams are horrible. He doesn't make it clear at all what's on the exam and all of his exams are not black and white. AVOID!!!!
Dr. Wang is not a good teacher, especially for the remote learning age. He has a terrible habit of belittling students who answer incorrectly, or getting frustrated when no one knows the answer to the question he is asking. He will also sit and wait until someone speaks up, whether they know the answer to a question or not. Do not recommend.
Took his class online due to covid and have to say that he is one of worst professors I've encountered. He tells you to study the lectures for quizzes but a lot of the time you don't know for certain what is going to be on it because he isn't specific. He gets annoyed when people ask questions even though he claims to encourage questions Avoid him!
I would not recommend anyone ever take this class. By far the worst professor and worst experience I've had taking a class so far. You will lose points on quizzes for no reason even if they're right. The tests have trick questions and are much harder than they need to be. He will get mad at you for not answering right but insist you ask questions.
I had this man 3 years ago and by the looks of it, he hasn't changed at all. He's literally every negative thing people mentioned on here. I remember asking him why he marked my answer wrong on a quiz and he told me it's because I didn't word it the same way he says it. I wish I was kidding. I said but it's the same concept? Doesn't matter
He is very rude to students when asked a question so we can understand. He doesn't do revisions or give us a heads up about topics that will come on quizzes or tests. he finds it hard to send a notification to remind us of any upcoming quizzes. I would never recommend him if you really want to understand this class.
