This professor knows her material very well, her teaching skills are a little weird. But as long as you ask questions and pay attention you'll understand very easily. Her tests are exactly like the review and their pretty short too. Just keep up with the math lab homework

she used to teach in my high school, but i never had her until now. her accent is not as hard to understand as some people described. so far we have had 2 tests and i've got an A on both. she's great, she helps you when you need help, the lab can give you a whole ten extra credit points.

I took mgf1106 her classes are very clear and she is there for you when you ask for help, just show her that you are interested in learning and she will help you.

Professor Cespedes is one of my favorite math instructors. She knows her stuff, will walk around class to help with any questions and she even dedicates time to sit with you in the math lab! Cespedes is a really good teacher , she is always in the lab ready to help and she is always worried about her students. Professor Céspedes is the best math teacher I've ever had at Miami-Dade College. This is my third time taking MAC1105 and I couldn't be any happier. She's a sweetheart and cares for her students. She gives four test through the entire semester but gives you a study guide for each exam. Also, gives students extra time to finish homework assignments.

I took this class in spring 2017 this professor was amazing in each exam you have ten points of extra credit just for showing up to the math laboratory. Just online homework and Exams Test review guide. No book, No quizzes. She explained very well, she gives you the online homework to help you to pass the exam.

Yamilet is the best professor at Mdc. I was bad in math but she was always there helping me and her lectures are clear and if you dont understand she explains the topic again as many times as you need. She's a good professor, she can be funny at times but also feisty. Aside from this class being so extremely easy, basically things we all learned in elementary school. She talks very fast and goes through things fast because like i said, things we should all know, but if someone doesn't happen to catch on she will go through everything again.

Amazing professor who you can talk to outside class if you have any doubts, I had her for Mac 1105 and Mac 1147 and I get good grades in both. All that you have to do is study for the test and do the homework that count as a test grade.

Ive taken all my math classes(MAC 1105,MAC 1147) since I first started college with Professor Cespedes, and I wouldnt have it another way. Lectures are great and she makes sure you leave the classroom understanding all the reviewed material. She is always available during her office hours to clarify any doubts . Shes an excellent teacher, at times it may be or look hard which is a bit. But if you show her interest in her class: like asking questions, going to labs, attendance very important, early not late and doing the hw. Shes very considerate, she will help you, even if you get a bad grade but you must show interest by improving any bad grade.

She is always ready to help her students ,always has office hours before class and will all the COVID-19 going around she is always connected to help her students in order to be ready for class. Business calculus is not my favorite but she makes it easy for the students to understand.

I took her for MAC1114 and MAC1105, she is good at what she does. Prof Cespedes is a really nice lady and she is very helpful if you want her to go back and explain something but she has a heavy accent so it makes her difficult to understand sometimes . We had 4 tests online and there was barely homework, it takes less than an hour to complete. She drops your lowest grade and has an optional final you can take.

I took her Summer 2021, easy course if you have a good algebra base. Attendance was graded & she did a lot of breakout rooms, lectures were unhelpful because she didn't have a stylus so the math was all over the place. All work was through Pearson & she had clear deadlines. I completed most of the course the day before the term ended & got w an A.

Took her Summer of 2021. She was online & liked to do a lot of breakout rooms which made the lectures go by faster, she uses Pearson for both tests & hw (un-proctored). All the hws due at the end of the semester will be an easy class if you are good at algebra. Overall I got an A bc of my background in algebra not necessarily bc of her lectures.

Ms. Cespedes gives many opportunities to help your grade by providing reviews for tests and extra credit opportunity by going to a math lab for tutoring. She has detailed worksheets that follow along examples that she does during her lectures. Overall, it was an enjoyable class with easy homework and the final is optional dependent on grade.
