I would encourage taking Prof. Ildefonso. She makes class enjoyable and understands the difficulty in learning a new language. She doesn't teach over your head, very considerate of her students. Overall awesome teacher!

Professor Ildefonso is the best teacher ever! I had Spanish 101 with her, and going to have 102, 201 & 202, and cannot wait to start those calsses. She is very helpful, and understands that it not always easy to learn another language. All test and quizes she gives are fair, and cover the material she is talking about in the class. Many quizzes/tests, hw checked ~2 wks, 1 cultural project (in Eng) which is asked about during final. Everything outlined on syllabus given on day one- very helpful! No pop quizzes/tests. She wants you to do well. If you're not going to be there, email her, otherwise you won't be able to makeup work. Overall, good teacher, would recommend.

This teacher was great. She made you work hard, but it was well worth it. I learned so much, and yet it was fun while doing it. Shes a very nice woman.. always smiling! She grades awesome too, lowest grade I ever got was a 60 - and I didnt study! Would totally recommend her! The class was a good time.

Very sweet professor. The work is definitely challenging if you struggle a bit at Spanish like I do, but at the end of the semester she gave me a decent grade, much better than I expected. You'll have fun if you're being more fluent in Spanish and love the language, if not, you may be a little freaked out in class, but she's a sweet lady.

I had to take this clas & had zero interest. Professor made this class fun and really makes sure you know what you are learning. No quizzes,& for oral test she informs you of what to know ahead of time. Very fair with grading if she knows you are trying. I would highly recomend her if you have to take spanish.

Not that she isn't a great teacher, but I took the class online so I never met her. However the book is very unhelpful so unless you speak Spanish, don't take this class online, there's no learning. Luckily I already took 5 years of Spanish so I was able to get an A. No thanks to the Nexos 2nd ED however :(

She's amazing. I took her for two semesters and I wish there were more courses to take with her. Her class is interesting and you learn a ton. She also cares a lot about her students. She gave us these handouts that are soooo helpful for grammar.

Profa is the best she is bleary clear with every thing and she really cares about her students. She always tries to tie real life stuff into her classes. She is also really cool with the homework

Excellent Prof! Spanish is Ildefonso's native language. Class is very fun and interactive. Pay attention, practice and do your homework, and you'll do well! She co-writes the departmental exams for the end of the semester.

I hadn't taken Spanish since High School, which was 7 years ago, and I signed up for the more difficult class. Stupid on my part, but she made the class really interesting and fun! I will be taking her again for Intermediate Spanish II. She likes to goof around and talk with the students. It's a nice environment and I always enjoyed going.

Enthusiastic, understanding, nice, and helpful. Professor Ildefonso is great! I have taken her twice and both classes were entertaining and enjoyable. There is no reason to receive a bad grade in her class unless you do not complete the homework or study at all. She likes for the students to participate which I feel helps the class overall.

If you sit in the front and participate she will notice. She is super caring and explains EVERYTHING. Online homework is really easy. If you pay attention and listen you will pass with an A.

Easy if you remember course work from Spanish 101. The class builds off of it but the majority of the class is spoken in english so its easier to understand.

It was fun but we learned a lot. She gives weekly homework, chapter tests, no pop quizzes, and a study guide for the final exam.

I took Spanish 102 online. She is so organized and each session tells you what to do. I really liked the program she uses online and she really made it easy to understand. You know exactly what you need to do and how you're gonna be graded. It's all spelled out from the beginning and I really appreciate that. She answered all my emails quickly.

Honestly, I don't know how I would have survived this semester without Prof Ildefonso. I've never taken online classes before and was forced to because of covid. She was sooooo helpful. Answered all my questions, recorded reviews for us. She was on top of everything. I am so thankful and would recommend her to everyone who needs to take Spanish.

The online course was very easy and a few modules were due weekly. The tests were also very simple and as long as you do the work it should be an easy A. She also provided really helpful study videos with her speaking and explaining concepts for the test.

Professor Idlefonso's course was like most online language courses. Very easy to navigate and clear grading criteria. She also gives feedback on oral exams which is always nice. Definitely take this course.

The class was challenging as any new thing is, however Profesora works with you and not against you! It asked would I take the class again and my answer is yes, only with a lot more time and not for a grade. This class was great, choose it.
