PI course is a little bit different from regular lecture course but with much more flexibilities. You can go as fast as you could or you can slow down a little bit. Although it is a PI, the professor did lecture every important concept in each class. I like her teaching style, very organized.

I repeated this course and passed with good grade. She explained much more details than my previous professors. I would recommend to anyone taking PI course.

She actually graded very fairly. Homework was 10 percent of the total. If you did not do all the homework, you would not get all 10 points. Although I completed all of them, not all of sections scored as 100 percent, so I only got 9 points out of 10. But that is fair.

Avram was the best! She would joke around during lectures, and give some helpful math advice for real life situations. She's willing to help if you ask, and responds to emails pretty fast. For non-science majors, this is the perfect class to choose!

Very informative. She was very thorough with her lessons. Did plenty of examples in class and was even nice enough to spend classes going over test reviews before each chapter test. Extra credit opportunities. Quick with grading and email responses.

There is homework for every section but usually only 1-3 problems. There is somewhat of a language barrier but you get used to it. Tests are multiple choice and you get 1 test retake.

I enjoy her trigonometric class! Very clear explanation with a lot of reviews before the test. As long as you keep up with the class, you would be fine! My sister and I both took her classes at two different time, we both enjoyed that. Of course, we both studied a lot of. There was not an easy grade. But we both made good grades.

Took her Summer Stats 1332 and class was pretty straightforward! There was a lot of assignments due but again this was a summer class. Just follow the due dates and complete hw/tests and you will pass! There are notes and video to watch n her class was 100% online with no campus visits and even tests are completed online with the lockdown browser.

One of the Best professor Ive taken. 3 Exam and 1 Final, pay attention in class and youll top them easily. you have to take quizzes and other homework in MathLab but they are easy to do, also get like 10 attempts on those homework. Everything is pretty much easy and straight forward, also get extra credit for solving problem in class.

She made calculus easier than pre-calculus. I think this class had opened so many opportunities for me. Before I take this class I was so scared because everyone was talking about calculus as if it was rocket science. But after taking it, I realized it wasn't that hard. It's just the concepts that you need to know, and thats it.

Great professor at NLC. She explained everything thoroughly. Walked us thru the calculator. Tests covered what we did in class. Optional project helps if you have a low test grade. Also have to do the homework on connect-math, and most of it were 100s because of her teaching ways.

Professor Avram is a great overall professor! Although Professor Avram was teaching Math 1325 online the first time, I chose Professor Avram because I had a great experience in Math 1314. Professor Avram is great . Due to the pandemic our deadlines were extended and new due dates were mailed to us multiple time so we don't forget. As it is a math class, we had to work to get good grades but there are many homeworks and quizzes so even if you mess one up, you can make it up by working on the others. Overall, much better than expected

Cal2 isn't algebra it might more difficult, so be mentally prepared and don't give up at the start because things will get messy. Make sure you listen carefully and take notes. Ofcourse, you might pause at certain problems, and thats when you should swing by the prof office. She is very generous when grading tests/quizzes. So dont worry about it.

There are weekly live sessions but not mandatory and they are hard to understand. You basically teach yourself but the assignments are easy since you can do them as many times as needed. There is an additional book/website like that you have to purchase for the class.

Very fast at responding emails if you have any concerns! Clear structure of the course, make sure to turn in everything on time and you wont struggle with keeping up with the assignments.

She has online lectures she posts every week on the lessons, but they are recorded, and optional to go to. She has a very strong accent, and a few of her emails were hard to read due to grammar mistakes, but she gets right back when you email, and is willing to explain what you did wrong. You get as many tries as necessary to complete homework.

Took her Calc 2 (16 weeks) online. She had virtual class once a week and post the video. She also had office hours everyday through blackboard, and answered emails quick. Three unit test (the last unit test counted as final exam), they were not that difficult if you complete the review first.

May semester is a super short course and is not for everyone since it has only two and a half weeks. Ms. Avram did a great job in helping me completing the course. I appreciate all of her help and I would take her Trig again in the Summer.

I am super proud of myself in completing the college Algebra in a very short term from Maymester (5/14 to 6/1), only 19 days total and got a grade A. The optional final exam is very helpful and not difficult at all. It replaced one of my lowest test grade and increased my grade to A. Follow prof Avrams suggestion and you will be fine.

I have a great experience taking this course! She did round the grade up from 79.5 to 80 follow the regular rounding. No bad at all. Will recommend to my sister for her next math.

I have decided to change my major from liberal art to computer science. I took liberal art math1332 with Ms. Avram and she made math so interesting and doable. I will continue to take more math with her to complete all my math courses.

I took this class in the 8-week flex term, and the best thing about this class was her lecture videos. Calculus isn't easy but the videos help a lot. The professor explains calculus very well. She really guide every student in every math problems.
