She is hard. She doesn't give many opportunities for grades. Even tests and quizzes are only out of 10-15 points total. No homework assignments. It is hard to pull your grade up. She posts slides online, definitely use those to study for tests. Need to pay attention in class. She elaborates on her slides during class. Hard.

HORRIBLE CLASS. Stupidest lab i've ever taken. Jessa had very little consistancy with her TAs. Jessa doesn't want to teach. She's among Miami's faculty for research purposes only. If you want to regularly get D's and C's on reports for labs you did 100% correct, take CHM 144/145. Regularly takes off huge amounts of points for dumb trivial stuff like significant digits. Without dropping the lowest lab and curves, this class would be nearly impossible to get a good grade. ONLY good part is the exams are easy.

The lab reports take hours and are graded so hard. The exams test you over miniscule details. Don't be fooled by the practice exams, they don't prepare you for exams at all. I would never take this professor again if i could help it. That being said, it is chem, so it's supposed to be hard.
