It's a biology class so you have to put the work in on your part regardless of the professor. Extra credit on tests and has helpful in class activities. Fun class.

You have to keep up with the material that the Professor gives. Participation matters. If you want to pass this class, you have to give a great deal of time of STUDY PRACTICE, and complete all HW. Every week there's quiz, homework, and reading. I used the book and there is one group project. Gives extra credit.

You can tell she really knows the material and has a great passion for it. Literally finished her class today - eastern florida state college- and if you study and pay attention you will pass this class. Loved her.

Miss Garcia is the best professor I ever had for bio, she is challenging but if you really want to study something related to health this is your best choice, tests are heavy, you are probably going to have homework every week but just a quiz and a mastering biology, she explains the class very good and makes it really interesting.

This class is hard by nature. You must read the textbook and take lots of notes. Memorization will probably be your best friend. This professor gives tons of extra credit opportunities and she's nice; she makes the class enjoyable. If you work hard and take advantage of the extra credit, you'll be fine. She's probably my favorite teacher so far.

Professor Garcia made me love Bio 1. She is a straight up professor and makes class at times. She expects you to come ready to class and her tests are fair. Lots of extra credit and opportunities to learn. Take her if you have the chance because she honestly knows whats she's doing and helps you out if you come to class.

Her class was so interesting. It was the class were I interacted with people the most this summer. She answers emails and also answered my calls and took time to explain. It is a lot of work but it is micro so I understand the class is advanced. Study and you will pass.

I appreciate this professor so much! I had a crazy week with 4 exams and had problems submitting work. She took the time to help and listen to me. She even helped me calm down and focus so I could do well in the test. With all the stress I have I am just thankful that she didnt just ignore me and helped me finish. The best!

This professor was very good explaining and available for questions. She gave extra credit which was good for tests. You have to work but the course is organized and she gives you a lot of practice. If you don't work you won't pass and she makes that clear for the beginning.

I was a little hesitant when the course first started because the amount of work and points system just didn't make sense. Overall the class was hard but manageable. I didn't like that we had to watch Labs and have quizzes on it because I did not understand anything the person on youtube was teaching. Overall a nice teacher who checked in a lot.

This professor was nice and welcoming but the grading system was off. I passed all my tests with B's but she really gets you with the homework and the discussions. Listening to podcast just weren't my thing, and answering 40-50 questions for 20 points wasn't my thing either. Some HW would be tricky because of the charts you had to fill in.

Overall she is a good professor and explains well. She makes the class busy at the beginning and then as the semester continues you get less work. That help me a lot for the finals week because it gave me time to prepare. She answered all my questions and was supportive and helped when I had problems and couldn't complete the work on time.

If you want to get into nursing this is the professor you want to take the class with. She is open about how you need to work for you grade and is there to help. She met through Zoom with me almost every week to help me personally understand and go over questions. If you are not willing to do the work go with someone else.

This professor made me work but the class with this professor was amazing. She really knows her stuff and I am surprised by how much I have retained after class. I wish I could have taken the class in person and not online. I plan to try to meet the professor when Valencia opens again.

THE BEST!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this professor. Out of all my online classes Micro was the one where I interacted with people the most this summer. She also did Zoom meetings to review before tests. I had 3 other classes and she was supportive and gave me advice.

I was surprised to see the bad reviews. The professor was helpful and available for me. She even asjusted her schedule to meet with me and help me with the material before the test. She explains everything so well and even gives you a study guide. I am loving the class.

This professor is super good. The tests are departments tests and she goes above and beyond to help. She even met with me after her office hours to help me before the test. She is not the easy A but is very good explaining. Every chapter has a study guide, use them because they help.

I just met with the professor and I have to say she is really there for you when you need help. I have children, work, and study and I have been going crazy with all the work. She understood where I came from and helped me work with my schedule. No other professor has done that for me. She also motivated be to do well.

This class has been life changing for me. When I started I didnt get a lot of what the professor was saying with all the studying tips she gave but I work at a hospital and had a conversation with a group of nurses and I was so surprised with all I have retained. It has never happened with other courses. If you really want to learn take the class.

Excellent professor in my opinion she is a gem. She was there for me when I needed help and got sick mid semester. She also followed up to make sure I was understanding if I asked questions. I went to her first with questions and that was better than the class group because some people changed things and didnt realize they were wrong.

A lot of material to cover during mixed mode. If you do not put in the effort to study the book, and go over her lectures you will not pass. Very fair professor. Super hard class. 50% of grade is tests. Read to succeed. She drops some assignments to help your grade, which is nice. Extra credit is also offered. If you are dumb and lazy, this is not the class for you.
