She's an excellent professor!

Professor Parada is a excellent teacher. She teaches very well. If you're dumb then you wont understand what she's teaching but she explains everything in details and makes sure her students understand. I loved her class so much that i'm going to take it again for Spanish 2. The best teacher.

Hot as Hell for an older lady but I was also glad to get the knowledge. Alot of repetative work though. But shes cool.

Ms. Parada is very creative. She knows how frustrating and difficult is to learn a new language. She creates a lot of games and fun in her classrooms. We even learn songs and watch spanish novellas. Too bad, she had a tragedy in her family, and we had to miss couple of classes. I wish to see you smiling and happy again, Ms. Parada!

Caring, helpful teacher. Really good at explaining Spanish. Very good at explaining why you use certain rules and giving you easy ways to remember things. She also is constantly using creative tools like songs, videos, and pictures to teach the language. She really cares about her students, and is extra helpful to non-native speakers. TAKE HER!!!

professor parada is the best teacher in LACC, Don't take professor bae or morin, both professor are very difficult to work with, professor parada gives all her students A's and B's. easy class if you follow up with her class work and homework, I haven't seen anyone in her class fail. In the beginning I didnt really like her because she just kind of weirded me out, but shes really grown on me. She is very creative and is extremely good at what she does. I would have never thought that in 8 weeks I would go from barely being able to order a burrito to speaking, reading and writing fluent spanish. I highly recommend her :)

I hated spanish when i took it in high school, but she made it definitely tolerable, which says a lot! A great teacher who keeps the class interesting and fun. She is very helpful. I 'd recommend her to anyone.

Prof Parada is adorable, she reprimands slackers in the kindest way. She is sincere about wanting everyone to love and learn spanish. She expects students to attend, she assigns lots of homework. It was a fun class and my easiest A so far, despite not being very good at speaking spanish if you do the work she assigns you can get good grades.

You MUST do your work to pass her class. You also MUST attend class because there is classwork that is turned in during class and also interactive exercises that contribute to the class participation part of you grade. If you are unclear about anything, ask either the professor or another student who understands her because she has an accent.

Yes, Mrs. Parada is very easy to look at, very easy to get along with and a very good teacher. Yes, she gives lots of homework, but that is how you learn a language. She does all she can to make you happy.

I must say that she assigns a lot of homework but it's only to help you. She is a wonderful teacher.. and she will take her time to make sure you get every concept. I HIGHLY recommend her! I don't speak spanish and I came out with an A for the semester. Also, she would work with you about absences.

Senora is a great teacher. Pretty lady and pretty voice. She explains the course extremely thoroughly. She gives out ALOT of homework and in-class work, as well as singing songs and watching movies. We also do ALOT of oral speeches, including a poster presentation, which is very fun actually. Her exams are simple, as she gives out a study guide.

Wonderful teacher! 100 STARS 4 Ms. Parada! I learned so much in her class. Although, I am a native spanish speaker I improved my grammar & learned especially how to use does famous accent marks properly! She is very sweet and really cares about her students! Professor Parada is a cool teacher. Only downside is that when you ask her questions she can be rude. She gives you a face as if you're suppose to know the answer. She also rolls her eyes at students when they ask a simple question.... So other than her being rude she's "okay"....

A wonderful first Spanish professor. I took her class over the winter having never taken Spanish before; she did a wonderful job of explaining everything and making it clear to understand. If you show up on time and do the work you're supposed to (which isn't a whole lot), you'll be fine. I highly recommend her.

I took Spanish 1 with her during Spring semester. She is one of the best professors in LACC. She is funny and very helpful. Class was never dull. She gives you three free passes during the semester that can be used for homework, attendance, and the lab work.

I was very intimidated at the beginning and I did not even know what personal pronouns were, Professor Parada inserted magic in my brain, I love Spanish now and planning to continue. Easy Spanish class if you already know spanish. If not her teaching style may confuse you and you may get lost. Good professor my only complaint is sometimes it seems like she's in a bad mood and she gets annoyed if you ask a lot of questions. She's also kinda sassy. But her tests are straightforward. Would take her again for spanish 1.

Attendance is mandatory, just let her know you won't be in class and you can make up the work by giving her 1/3 coupons she gives you. The exams are very easy, STUDY THE STUDY GUIDE. do the homework! Do the Spanish lab assignments and you will pass with an A! She is very nice and gives good feedback and wants you to pass and understand the class

Parada is a very reasonable professor that allows you to grow as a student, she is always accessible and answers her emails. She will work with you in order for you to pass her class, she cares for her students.

She is the best Spanish prof . For English only speaking shes really good at helping to understand and she gives extra Credit . The study guide is exactly the same as the test .

Professor Parada is a beautiful woman! Her lectures are great and she's always clear about what she wants from you in her assignments. Easy class! 2 one pg compositions, and a bunch of worksheets that you purchase at the book store, but very easy worksheets! BUT she may be rude at times and seems kind of bothered if you ask questions!

She's nice, clear and caring. Make sure to go to class because of daily class work. Tests are exactly what she goes over, you just need to study on your own. She is available in her office A LOT! She gives enough extra credit to change a C to an A. I only received my current grade because I was never in class and never spoke to her outside of class

No need to purchase book. Group projects will happen. The class was only 1x a week and sometimes weekly work was given every day. Very fun!! Very open, and we always tended to sit in a circle. You learn people's names quick, and if you need any other help, she or another Spanish tutor is available in the Spanish lab. No e/c cause work is easy/fun

Profesora Parada is amazing. An A is very possible. She gives slid of extra credit opportunities. The only criticism I have of her class is the amount of time she gives to do class work. Be aware she assigns class work toward the end of class, which can possibly make you late for your next class. Other than that she is superb. 4.9/5

this class is straight up FUN. she gives great real-time feedback during conversational exercises. warning, if you are shy this might be a little hard! but you'll warm up. there are lots of skits, group projects, and funny improv things to do in order to get you speaking! i like her a lot. she can be slightly disorganized at times but nothing major

Prof. Parada is so great that I didn't hesitate to take her Spanish 2 class this summer after taking Spanish 1 in the Spring. I may even take Spanish 3, just because of her! She truly cares about her students and makes learning Spanish easy, even for someone who has never spoken it before, like me. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Professor Parada is one of the best professors out there. Her lectures weren't boring and were informative. You have 5 exams, a couple of compositions, and 5 bluebooks. For assignments, the textbook provides a website where you would do all the assignments. Overall, the class is pretty easy if you put effort into it.

She is an excellent instructor! I'm not sure what the other person is talking about, but the videos she used didn't have any accent and everything was very clear. She gave quick feedback and lots of extra reading and information. I think the class is great, an easy A if you watch the lecture videos!
