I think he does this favor thing. His exams were all writing an essay so be prepared to know info before hand. He reviews the day before the exam so its not that bad. Something I don't like about him but i can't seem to ge my hand on it.

He's a good professor, and he is easy to understand. Really cares about his students, but his exams are hard. He does review for them, but you must really study.

This professor is probably one of the worst in the school. He is a cumpulsive liar and does not know how to teach.
He is a good Professor, I took him for a World Studies course. We mainly read novels and two exams no papers. Not bad at all.
vey dedicated professor. knows his material to a T and expects that you memorize everything he says. loves to talk, so lectures are long. you must answer questions on tests in forms of little essays based on what he talks about in class. take good notes.

He gives lectures that are very interesting, exams are based on class lectures so take notes. His exams are easy. He's a very kind, understanding, intelligent lawyer- phi beta cappa grad from NYU law so he knows what he's talking about!

He can talk forever,and his lectures gets boring.His notes consist of 97% of the test, and he likes participation.He isnt very helpful. If you dont get an assignment and you ask for an explanation of it, you will receive a reply, such as "What part dont you understand?" and its not said too nicely.

Very helpful teacher. His exams are extremely hard and you have to listen to his lectures or else you will fail. He is a great writer so he does not allow you to write any type of crap that you want too. But overall he is a very interesting and decent teacher. Don't buy the book just take notes
Great Professor, tell him something interesting and he'll listen. He likes Suck Up's, so act very interested and ask alot of questions. Exams are fair- he divides it into notes, books read, and txt bk chapters. Class is veryyy interesting if you care to learn about people. TAKE HIM!!

I have taken Yemi for both Poli Sci & World Stud. He is a very informative Prof. I would recommend him more for World Stud than Poli Sci. He treats it as if it were Law School. His Tests are hard, but he always gives you an opportunity to do E.C If you do all your HW, papers & participate in class, you'll get a great grade from him.
He is a good teacher who loves to talk, knows his stuff and expects u to better know yours. if u wont speak up in class then he will never know u were in it. u better leave all of ur excuses at the door because he takes non. and when u answer a question make sure that it is right because if not then get ready to be imberresed.gooooooood luck

he is a very nice guy. I learned a lot about africa that i never learned in social studies back in high school. His tests are open book so there is no reason why you should fail his class , unless you dont show. overall a great professor

He is an excellent professor who is always willing to help his students. He doesn't give too much homework and he loves participation. The test are fair , you do have to study the night before, mostly from the book.
I thought i would be in hell when taking the class, but i was wrong. A great professor, very clear, Take your notes and youll be fine, be involved in discussions and youll be fine as well, no multiple choice tests, short answers and an essay, if you listen and take careful notes, youll get that A, and its fun, both in one class, what else you need?
He is a very nice and funny professor. He is very easy going and gives you chances to revise essays given. His exams cover short essays which comes from the text.

I took this professor Twice he is very cool, he is always avalible for students. he likes students to participate and get involve. his test are very easy,his papers are given with time and he is a very fare greater. i love his way of teaching notes are clear and he knows what he is doing. He expects a lot from his students by giving a lot of reading assignments. he is cool at times but gets very pissy when his work isnt done. i recommend him if you like to procrastinate and kill yourself with work.
If you want to sleep, then pick him. If you actually wanna learn something, dont pick his classes, he is boring, rush through his lessons
Overall, he is a moderate professor. His assignments which include summaries from chapters are plain and simple if you do the reading. If your looking for an easy A, you have to make sure you do the readings. He can be boring but his lectures are interesting.
Wonderful Professor!!! At first his class seems little hard and you might not do so good in exam. But he really gives very good grades in exams. If you try your best, this class must be wasy for you and also you need a good attendence and participation. I got A+ in his class though I didn't study at all. So I hardly recommend you to take his class.
WOW!!! His class changed my life for the good...not only because of the subject matter but because of the work he demands from you. His class is wonderfully interesting if you want to really learn and if the subject he's teaching is your cup of tea.You're gonna work but it's worth it!!!

He was so boring and so disorganized. He was jumping from chapter to chapter. When he writes it's like a map you have to know where he started or else you'll be lost.Don't take him. If you do take him just read the whole book. In his exams he takes off points just because you didn't have the details that he wanted.
I don't know if this proff. still teaches here. He is a wonderful proff. He is very smart, he knows many languages has many degrees etc. He cares about his students.
The class was boring but the readings were pretty interesting. He's a very kind man and does care about the students but his discussions are tedious. There is quite amount of work and he does expect a lot from you. Overall i got a good grade, a better one then i expected.

He is a smart guy, though sometimes his lecture is boring but overall I like his class. Not an easy grader but I did pretty well in his class. work hard! read the books, like four or five books. def lot of readings but they can be interesting! do well on exams! but he gives you quite a lot of time for midterm and final!
He is a good professor, but the class is boring. Need to read 6 books, and 5 quizzes, final exam is a take home test, and support to write 4-6 pages, and 1 term paper in the end of the semester.
The worst professor I've met so far. Arrive late to class & kept students for an extra 10-15 mins after class to make up for his lateness. All work are in essay and paper format that he never assigns enough time to do. Learned nothing in his class and regret having him as a professor.
His class is boring. you do not need to buy the books because he does not used them. you don't need to read the articles because he will read his notes in the class for you. In the class, what you need to do just take note. all exam's answers is in the notes!
He is one of the worse professor in the college. If it wasn't required and all the other classes were closed, he would have no students in his class. He is boring and like to waste other's people time. Always late and keep people after class. Can't learn anything in his class. Don't take him.
He's not a bad professor, just very monotone, and puts you to sleep, especially if you're not a morning person. He assigned about 50 pages of reading a week, and the midterm was based on some of the readings. He does expect certain facts to be in your answers. Whoever said his notes are like a map is right! He gives 8 HWs and asks you to do only 5.
Highly not recommended. Don't even know how this guy became a prof. He is one of the worse prof. I have ever met. He makes the material more difficult for student. Even if you are the top student, he won't give you a good grade. I pass all the test and hand in all the work and I still receive the worst grade ever. It's better to avoid him.

Honestly, I never had a professor that made very little sense. He talks about his law degree,and goes in depth with other things that are not part of the class. He spends too much time off tangent from the lecture. Do not take his class. Save yourself the pain.
Do not risk it, biscuit. You are better off reading "The Autobiography of Malcolm X", then taking this class. The book is not even a requirement for this class, it is just that he spends so much time talking about black struggle that any of the political lectures are basically pointless, yet, he tests the student to know the knowledge. Pathetic.
His class is not that difficult. An easy A as long as you take good note.
He is very well educated SEEK professor. The man knows his thing. Although he is an extremely tough grader when it comes to writing papers, he gives you the chance to redo and resubmit them for a better grade with the help of the SI. GET PREPARED TO READ! But he emails the summary of the reading to make it easier for you which really helps out.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! SAVE YOURSELF! The mid-term about 7 questions in class not open booked hand written. Every one wrote about two paragraphs for each question. When we have back the midterms after graded it he told us this is not what he expected. He then tells us he expected us to write a novel for each question.
The final for this class is almost impossible. He words questions in a way that makes zero sense. There are no guidelines. He gave us 3 questions he expected 4-6 pages for each question. Two of the questions he gave are IMPOSSIBLE! SAVE YOURSELF IM BEGGING YOU!
DONT TAKE HIM! His lectures are so unorganized. One minute he talks about poverty and the next he goes to talking about pizza and then goes to discrimination and says that was the fifth point. Also SUPER boring!!!! He makes it hard to stay awake in class. And he has this mindset that if you're Hispanic, he will try talking to you spanish.

DO NOT take him if you are lazy or not hardworking. You will learn a lot in the class, but its very demanding. You have to write at least 7 pages for each homework, 6 homework every semester. He has horrible handwriting so you have to listen to him in order to take notes. Must write a novel per test question and fill it with facts from all lessons.

If u gonna take him early in the morning, dont do it to ureself, matter fact, dont take him at all. I honestly dont know how he got a degree to be a professor. He cant teach, ALL of the things he teaches are straight from the textbook he assigned us to read. He reads his notes straight from the paper he took notes on the night before. dont takehim
Professor Yemi expects a lot from students. He always sends emails with notes and assignments out to students in the last minute. His lectures are boring, he put you in sleep and you have to pay attention to what he said, instead of what he wrote on the board because he really has a messy writing. He expects a lot more information on tests and hw.
Professor Yemi is the one you shouldn't take in your first year, he like to send out thing in the midnight and prefer you to download it. He prefers print copy and most of them are about 40 to 50 pages.

He is alright. His expects you to use specific terminology (what he discusses in class). You have to really pay attention to his lectures. Emails the work and readings very late. If you pay attention and write good notes then you should be able to pass.
He is a good professor and a caring one because he really wants you to succeed in this class. Even though, the homework is very long(6pg+), as long as you do them you'll get at least a b in the class. His classes can be boring and his notes is hard to understand but all you need for his homeworks are sent to you in pdf and is went over in class.
He is okay as an individual but he is terrible as a professor. Emails you long readings at last minute and expects you to read them. He reads off the paper and writes on the board with his terrible handwriting. Calls on you to participate and even if you participate voluntarily, he will most likely say your idea is wrong. His quizzes are very hard.

Do anything you can to not attend this class. If you are in SEEK drop this class. it is a waste of your time due to his lack of preparation and his rude and racist comments His TA Khaleel Anderson was also unavailable and unhelpful you will sit there with constant regret of taking this course. I would write more but they only allow 130 characters.
Horrible experience with him. So rude during class and likes to embarrass students right on the spot. Gives so many readings a week and so disorganized with his lectures.
Do NOT take him, It is literally a waste of time and all he does is yap dosen"t make things interesting for his students and Be ready to get handed papers every time you attend class its really stressful. He dosen't have bright space either so I can't see nothing.Embarrass students too and tries to be funny when it's not. you have been warned.
Please do not take this professor. Just don't. He struggles with online tools, doesn't respond to emails, and doesn't use Brightspace, so you can't track your grades. In class, he often doesn't make sense and embarrasses students for laughs. It's hard to understand how anyone passes his class. Save yourself the trouble and don't take him.
Honestly he's pretty bad for new students, especially if you are a SEEK student, don't take him you will regret it, he treats you like you're still in highschool, gives a ton of papers, quizzes and exams are confusing, its also true that he does embarrass students for what seems to be no reason. He cares, but cares too much. Don't take for credits.
