Best math teacher I ever met!

OMG THIS TEACHER IS THE BEST. MATH IS LIKE A SECOND LANG TO ME BUT WIT PROF MILMAN'S HELP I DID REALLY WELL. I ACED EVERY EXAM AND OF COURSE GOT AN A. IF U WANT A EASYGOING PROF PICK HIM HE WONT STEAR U WRONG

Math is my worst subject, I never understood it until I experience his class. He is a great teacher. I wish I could have taken him again. He takes his time and explains each lesson in depth. He makes math understandable. I give him an A+++.

If you need enthusiasm and an excellent math professor this teacher is the best. His method makes all that you've learned applicable and practical.

very good prof..he will give u review sheet before the exams.ALL questions on the review sheet are almost same as on the exam. no text book required. doing homework online.

Awesome Prof. He will always break down each and everything to the basics. He wont just give you a formula to memorize but he will tell you where that formula came from. He is very helpful, kind and flexible. Best of all there is no text book!!! Does make sure to do the on-line homework regularly, it actually helps a lot.

Well he is the best. I hate math and he made me love it.... i mean he just explains everything very easy and i took his class in the summer at night . But no matter what it still felt great !!!!

I always had difficulties in math but the way he teaches it made me understand. He explains it in the simplest form and I would recommend him to anyone. He's a great professor. I wish more professors were like him. :)

He is simply THE BEST professor I've ever had. His teaching method is the best,and he is so young too. Extremely helpful,Loves what he does and makes you fall in love with the subject too. He does the reviews (very close to the actual exams) He records the video of it ,explaining each question thoroughly so you can study better.He is just AMAZING!

Highly recommend this professor. You have to commit some time to study though, but you will learn and get what you paid for!! GREAT and HELFUL PROFESSOR!!!

Professor Milman rocks enjoyed this course very informative. It was intense because was a course but it was a breeze with the Professor teaching and the cool group of classmates.

Took the Summer Math 041 Quantway course, prior to this; i had failed math remedial's 3 times. The professor really shows how math/algebra can be used in everyday life, he breaks it down practically, which makes learning it far easier than just memorizing boring formulas. If you hate/fear math cause your not good at it, take Math 041 Quantway!

He is an amazing prof. I am not good in math at all. But this prof take his time to teach you every step needed to pass.

prof. is great.if you want to learn and pass take his class. took him for summer 12 and i didn't understand algebra but he wants you to pass. will explain until you get it.

He is a very interesting person he takes his time by helping other's he also cares for all including people with disability that need extra help to understand the material of the problem I highly recommend to take his class you would learn a lot he will blow your mind away, and you don't have to buy any text book its free.

Wow what can I say about this professor ! He's a hell of a good teacher he takes his time with students especially students like me. He takes great proud in his work as I witnessed first hand I just completed his summer course and it was more fun working in groups with other students. Take his course if you have a fear of math!!!

Professor Milman is an AMAZING professor. In all my years of taking math I have NEVER passed a math test nor understood math, I got perfect scores on my math tests in this class!! if you have a worries about math, Professor Milman will take those worries away! I actually enjoyed going to class over the summer!

after taking a math remedial course 3 times, i was so scared to sign up for this class.He is an excellent professor he takes his time to explain each and every problem . he also encourages you throughout the course . take him if you ever had a problem in math

Remedial math can be annoying, but Prof Milman makes the class super easy! I enjoyed his class last semester since he's not strict on attendance or the hw. He will recommend people to do the HW, especially if he knows they're falling behind. Respect the Prof, he knows what he's talking about from lessons to dates. He will help you pass!

Not a very easy course but he explains a lot and very clear in what he is saying. He also offers a lot of help to student.

I took the online course. We met once a week to go over any problems and to make sure we understood the materials. Blackboard is very important, he posts what needs to be done in that week. He requires you to take notes during the videos.Very easy class ! There's no textbook but it is required for webassign which costs, i think $65.

By far one of the best professor I've met. He his very smart and knows his stuff. He help me understand math so much better, mind you this is the 5th time I take remedial and I finally passed this class with my confident level sky high. Trust me this professor is the best!!!!!

He's the best professor i've ever had but I probably gave him a headache because I was late to every class, lol. Easy A, just pass the tests and do the homework. He assigns homework daily but they're really easy. Also, the sweetest guy ever ! Went out his way to buy us sandwiches a few times just because. I seriously loved him !

Best math teacher I have ever had! He makes is so fun to come to class, and he explains so well. I've had to take this class two times before and because of horrible professors I didn't pass, but now I finally am! And it's all thanks to Professor Milmans's teaching style. I loved professor Milman, for two semesters straight I had been trying to pass remedial and thanks to him I finally did. He makes sure you understand and will help no matter what. The tests are on exactly what he teaches in class, just pay attention and do the homework and you'll get an easy A I promise you !!

Seriously I wish he was teaching Calculus next semester. You have to be an idiot to do poorly and fail his class with all the resources he provides, recording the lessons and making hours of long videos of review before a test which no other professor will do which shows he cares. No excuse and you don't even have to be good at math. 10/10 the best

Professor Milman is one of the best math professors in BMCC. He gives you an amazing amount of support. You can pass and pass well, just follow what he says and it all makes sense. What also helps is having a good team of students in the class that you can work with and support each other. I highly recommend Professor Milman.

Awesome professor. Provides videos from the lesson and review ones before a test just simply the best math professor I've had so far, clear in his lectures, provides tutoring if you dont understand something aside from the videos. Take him!!!!

Amazing Professor i took him on math 56, math 206 and i am planning take him in calculus too. HE explains in a very clear way , he help you by staying after class to GO OVER what you do not understand, offices hours, extra extensions on webbasign. excellent professor i totally recommend you.

Prof. Milman is a really great professor, I usually don't find the potential in math, but he is the kind of professor who will ignited your passion for mathematics, make the class interesting and you are willing to work hard for his class. Good Luck!

Ive never rated a professor before but he was the best professor I've ever had in my life, he helps you learn every single little thing, and if you don't get it one way, then he teaches it in another way until everyone understands it. He is amazing at what he does, he loves his job, and he explains everything so perfect! He deserves 5 stars!!

You will not regret taking math with this professor, no matter if you're good at it or if you don't know anything about it. The most patient, organized and caring professor. Always available and clear with his requirements, explains everything step by step, as many times as you need.

As long as you show up to class and pay attention, the material is simple. He likes to give biweekly quizzes based off of what you learned the week prior. He thoroughly explains every step, patient, funny and very kind. Highly suggest taking him.

I am dumb for math and passed his class with an easy A. No, it is not like- hi, here is an A, you need to practice and study but he makes everything so simple and easy. He never gets frustrate doesn't matter how stupid question you ask,he is always willing to help and go with lecturing until everyone understands. I wish there are more prof like him

He is the best professor. Calculas is hard but he explains so clearly that you will get it easily. Very helpful and understands students situation.

He's a really great professor, but I found the course to be difficult. Most of the students in the class were former students that also took him for 206. His teaching style is a bit different than what I was used to, but he's willing to help if you need it. Plus he would stay after class was over to review for the test. Overall, a great man!

I lOVE THIS PROFESSOR, probably the first professor in BMCC that I learned from. He is so clear with everything when he is teaching math, and shows various ways to solve problems instead of one. He makes me love math, and probably the sweetest male professor I know in BMCC.

Great and friendly professor. I would take him again if I wasn't transferring. I took precalculus during the summer and many told me it would be difficult. But with professor Milman who explains everything clearly, if one put the effort in their work an A is possible. I would recommend him to anyone and he is willing to helps after class hours.

I took 301 with him during the spring professor Milman is amazing at what he does, he truly loves to teach others math. There was never a dull moment during his lectures, he is more than willing to stay and teach you in detail if you need it. He is very supportive and inspirational too. Please do yourself a favor and take him but also do you part!

Dr. Milman is an amazing professor who really knows the subject inside out. As long as you pay super close attention and make sure you understand the material you'll be fine. There were quizzes every week plus HW He teaches fast, so you really have to take it upon yourself to understand the concepts. He's a tough grader but I'd take his class again

He makes everything easy to understand and does not rush through topics like most profs. . He is super caring and wants his students to do well. I hate math in general but I really enjoyed his class and learning the material. I feel spoiled by his lectures and am now afraid that my next prof wont be a good. Wish he taught Calc 2. Hes so sweet and understanding! he uses myopenmath allowing hw to be handed in late! Also if he sees your not understanding something he will go out of his way to make sure you do. Made me feel so comfortable and my first semester of college worth it!! Take him if you need this class you wont regret it!

Prof. Milman is hands down the best! I thought I'd never pass math until I took his class. He really teaches you and cares! He gives hw online with videos that teach you step by step how to solve certain problems. He also offered tutor sessions and extra credit. For the first time, I actually felt ready to take the final and CUNY exam. Take him!

Great professor hands down!! Pay attention, ask questions, don't be scared to meet with him during his office hours!He's very understanding, and gives a lot of extra credit if needed. He even has an website he paid for, so you don't have to buy a textbook.

Best Professor for math class. He explains everything very clearly and easily. Every week you will have short and easy quizzes during lab class. Not a lot of hw just one per week online. Most important is that he gives review sheet with answers before test so you know what to expect on exams.

Hands down one of the best professors out there. I took him for Quantitive Reasoning. Homework is online and theres occasional quizzes. Literally coming to class and just taking notes of what he covers in class and I can guarantee that youll pass with flying colors. Super understanding and someone who truly cares !!

This is one of my favorite class on this semester. At the beginning of the semester I did poorly, but later I put a lot of effort on this class and my grade was improving a lot. I like the online assignment because it helps me to know the wrong excercises when it gave me 5 opportunities to re-do it. Milman is one of the best professor at BMCC!

professor Milan is one of the best professor in bmcc , He is very helpful and make the lectures easy to understand . he gives weekly quiz during the lab and give review sheets before the exams . The tests are not heavy , its pretty similar to the quizzes and review sheets.

I had over 100% average in this class. Prof. Milman makes miracles happen simply by being the professor every college student wishes to have.

Prof. Milman is one of those professors who makes the subject way easier to digest as opposed to other teachers. Professor milman is a nice professor he gives extra credit his class was hard but its worth it. There are lots quizzes he post on online. If you are focus and do all assignment quizzes and exam and practice you will do good in class.

He's honestly one of the best teachers I've had. He's so helpful, will work with you to improve your grade, really cares for his students, and doesn't give a lot of homework. With quizzes and exams, he would give you partial credit if you showed the work, even if you got the answer wrong. I've always struggled with math but he helped me understand.

This professor is a caring professor. He gives you credit for taking good notes, and is a very fair grader. If you communicate with him he will definitely meet you half way, hes a pretty decent human being. If you do all his homework and take good notes and do well on his quizzes , you will definitely get a deserving A.

He is very nice, gives a lot of homework, and quizzes, but doing them does pay off in the end. he's a really good professor, and makes calculus enjoyable. Just don't procrastinate with his work, do them on time for you to clearly understand the material

Prof Milman is really passionate about what he teaches and genuinely cares about his students.The workload can be quite heavy throughout the semester, however, i felt like each assignment significantly contributes to a better understanding of the materials.

If you want to learn & enjoy it. Take his class one of my most memorable professors. I took his class about 15 years ago and till this day I remember vividly. So If that doesn't say a lot I don't know what does.

I strongly suggest taking Milman as a professor. He makes every lesson interesting, clearly has a passion for mathematics, and encourages students to do better. Would take him again. He gives a lot of practice questions to help us and his exams are not hard and home work is easy because you have a lot of tries before it is closed off. At least 5 tries before the homework is submitted. Very funny

Professor Milman was the best! His work is straight forward and easy. You get multiple tries to submit work and accepts late work. Frequent quizzes, I believe every week but super simple. He is very personable and has a great personality. I wish he taught all levels of math. Midterm and final exam were easy. If you want an easy A, take him!!!

Professor Milman, is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He makes it easy for you to pass.honestly if you don't pass than that's really on you. He explains everything throughly, gives you ample chances to get a passing grade. If you don't understand he will try his best to make sure you get it! One of the biggest things is he genuinely care!

A great professor that tries his best not to overwhelm you. He answers every question no matter how small. There is a quiz every week so you cant miss class.

Overall Prof Milman was a great professor. He helped the students when needed and made sure to answer any clarifying questions. The grading criteria is exam heavy because the first 2 exams are worth 15% each and the final is worth 30%, so if you don't do well in the exams you will struggle. He does drop some grades and give extra credit on quizzes.
