a lot of work. Hard grader. worked my butt off for a B. She did teach the class well.

She is a very fun professor. She helps you out whenever you need help and isnt that bad with her English at all.

She is awesome! the only people who dont like here are people who are too immature for college and immediately stop resprecting her because she has an accent!

I really enjoyed going to this class everyday. Professor Zhang was very pleasant and funny as well. If you go to class and do the work your experience will be a good one! I would suggest this professor to anyone interested in taking communications.

first of all, if you have to take this class. get this teacher, she is awesome. she is hilarious and an easy grader. you give two simple speeches, 3 easy tests and that's it. she also has extra credit if you did bad. but you wont need it if you took it just a little bit seriously. trust me

She was a good teacher even though you can't really understand her that much. Her test are pretty easy if you study the chapters. Overall, it's an easy class to take. I recomend that you take her class.

Shes very funny and goofy, nice lady but her grading is rough! no matter how well you thing you thought you did on your speech you didnt do good!

I took this class online and it was great! She was very involved with the class which is often rare with online classes. She just seemed to care a lot about her students. I would take her again in a heartbeat!

GREAT TEACHER! I am taking her online class at the present time and look forward to additional classes with her. She is very clear in her assignments and returns your graded paper within a day or two and is always available for questions.

Her freshman seminar class is terrible. She's a decent teacher, but assigns about 2-4 essays EACH CLASS. That's no exaggeration either. The syllabus is basically useless since every class she adds more work. She's a cool person, but the work is just ridiculous.

She is a very nice person and doesnt give that much work in her intro to human communication class.

Not too much work, just get it done and you get an A. Tests are 50 question multiple choice taken right out of the textbook, so study and you're clear.

Prof. Zhang very very nice and courteous and helpful if asked.

she is the best. if you do your individual speeches and participate in the group work then its an easy A. All you need to do is do 2 speeches on any topic and do 2 group projects which are so fun to do then you will get an easy A. Don't be late too many times.

She is a great teacher. Everyone has something to say about her accent, but you know what, I think she is fair about her grading and also VERY helpful when it comes to returning papers. She helps you develop your ideas and if you put the effort into the course, you will get the grade you deserve.

professor zhang is a great teacher. i think shes a very fair grader and if there is something you dont understand she'll help you out in any way she possibly can. do all ur work and ur guarenteed an A. u'll have to work for it though.

i had her for freshman seminar, and although the class itself wasn't fun, she made it fun. wasn't too much work and the work she did give wasn't too hard. just do it and you'll pass.

What can I say about Zhang...? I can see where the people below are coming from, while she is a good person and she does teach well but for test 2, she didn't lecture. If you can keep up on your own outside of school then you will do fine but if you can't then you should take someone else.

2 words ; Great Professor

Overall, this was an easy class if you just dedicated some time to it. She was extremely helpful and would always get back to you with any questions. The only thing is if she says the minimum is 800 words, you have to write way more than that if you want to get a good grade.

This professor was extremely nice, and she helped you when you asked for it. She also gives out bonus points which is very helpful at the end.Her tests are difficult but if you study for them and pay attention to her lectures you should be fine!

great proffesor, i took her over the summer. wasnt too bad 3 test, 2 presentaions, and plenty of bonus points. I would recommend her. Shes SUPERB!

I took her online class and it wasn't bad! She was really clear with the work that was expected from us and didn't give us too much! She is a really fair teacher and her feedback was excellent. She would always help and offered a lot of extra credit! I would take a class by her again!

This lady works extremely hard to make this class organized and straight forward. She grades and responds super fast. She is constantly involved and is the best online professor I've ever had.

She is a great teacher. Dr. Zhang is a good person when you get to know her and you can tell she really does care about the kids that she teaches. Don't be afraid to ask her questions because she will answer you and more then the answer but explanations. I was scared at first because she has a heavy accent, but in the end shes great.

I loved her class. She is funny at times and made class enjoyable. Anyone who has said anything bad about her did show up or didnt do the projects. Her tests a little hard if you don't study. I hate specking in front of groups but she made it easy for the class. 2 speeches and 2 groups works were easy and 3 tests. Has a strong accent though

Zhang is the best! Her class is great she is an awsome teacher. She is fun and funny. Best advice for students is to work hard and do ALL the work. You have to earn your grade in her class. Good Luck!

She is a really good teacher.. hard to understand her accent at first but you get used to it.. she makes the class funny at times which helps you learn the material.. theres 2 group projects which are actually fun and theyre easy grades. however the 2 speeches kinda suck even though its easy topics. overall a really good teacher, id take her again!

she was such a great teacher. the best part about her class is when she use to say how hot the guy in the front row was and that all the girls in the class should look at him. beside from that she will talk to you if you have any problems with anything, she gives out extra credit if you need it and she loves to hear funny stories from her students.

I had professor Zhang for about a month. But for that month she was great I missed class on the day we started group work and I decided to drop the class and retake it and I'm taking it with her that's how much I like her!

Attendance required. Make sure to participate. Group work not bad but make sure you get paired with other people willing to work. Study lecture notes... Review textbook since that will help for tests. Gives good examples. Gives easy bonuses to help grade. Have Scantrons and pencils.

Took her twice! ( second course was an online course).. She is an awesome teacher. Do the work she will give you a good grade. Plus she gives a lot of extra credit!

With professor Zhang, you MUST understand that you have to go to class EVERYDAY!!!! If you are someone who is shy it might help you open up and feel more comfortable. You have to present 2 essays you written in front of the class. All essays are around 2-3 pages. Easy because you write about your life in all of them!! Must hand in work on time.

This really depends on you. I take her COM class and it's the easiest class i've ever taken. Just go to class and do the work. Obviously if you don't do the work or go to class shes gonna give you an attitude and you wont like her. There is one thing, and it is true that her tests are very confusing and tedious. Shes okay though.

Tests are confusing. 2 speeches, 3 tests, 2 group projects. Speeches and group work are easy A's as long as you put the work in. Also gives a lot of extra credit. Go to class, do the work, do the extra credit, and you'll get an A.

Prof. is extremely clear about what she expects from you.The tests are hard, however she does curve the grades.5 e.c. journals you can do(must stand in front of class and read them if you want credit)and she has you do the group work first before the indiv speeches which helps you to get comfy and feel more at ease when you have to do indiv speech.

She is a riot! If you want an A you have to participate just about every class(she even puts check marks next to your name on her attendance sheet every time you raise your hand) And you absolutely better make sure you find people who want to do well and that you can work with for the groups as you keep the same group for both projects.

Great professor. She's very helpful and considerate. The exams are pretty difficult, but nobody said college was gonna be easy. Overall I enjoyed the class and my fellow students. Worth taking!

She is a wonderful teacher. Class is simple enough, if you go and participate you'll do great. For the group work you'll need a group willing to work. She will build your confidence during your speeches and she offers extra credit to assist you if your willing to do the work. I am scheduled to take her COM 202 next semester.

GREAT teacher somewhat hard to understand due to her accent but her class is CAKE, no homework only textbook reading her test are a bit difficult but not if you study. She is easy to take to if you have a problem. Id take her again!!

If you put in the littlest of effort you'll pass trust me. You must participate every class, even if you just comment on a lecture she'll give you credit. For the tests you will need to read the textbook, it's really important. Professor Zhang's accent is completely comprehensible. She will call you out if you don't try though!

Nice professor, put in at least a little effort in the assignments do the bonus journals, and pick good group members and you will get at least a B. Her accent is not that bad but her lectures are very boring, when you take her tests focus on the textbook and especially the vocab and participate in every class and you are going to pass.

He goes over everything so clearly so everyone can understand if you pay attention and write down what he says it's easy to pass he basically gives you every answer. He's a tough grader but thats if you don't listen to him. He's very easy going but hates when your late or talking. You have to do homework to pass but he helps you a lot.

very good professor. at first she will seem standoff-ish. always saying "right?" or "understand?" but this is just to train you to always pay attention and improve your communication skills. this teacher only really asks for you to read, and participate with simple q&a. definitely worth your time.

I love her! People say they can't understand her accent but it honestly isn't that bad. She's super funny and one of the only professors around here who actually care (if you do)! This class she makes you befriend your classmates and is the only class I made friends in. I would take this class again in a heartbeat.

Zhang is awesome,she's so funny & wants all her students to succeed ,I enjoy her class and would take her again for another subject!! But be prepared to participate

Currently taking her online Communications class and she's awesome! There is kind of a lot of work but it's not difficult at all! She just wants to see that you read the textbook & worked hard and she'll give u a good grade! Her instructions are simple to follow & everything u need to do is there! Definitely take her!! Im really glad that I did

She was absolutely fantastic. She gives you notes and allows you to get extra credit on all 3 tests by doing quick post-tests online which takes 10-15 minutes a piece. The tests are extremely fair. No midterm or cumulative final. It is important to raise your hand once every class and say something.

She is very strict about certain opinions of hers in regards to how things work, but usually shes flexible if you makes mistakes and doesnt grade that harshly if she knows you put in effort.

This class really made me more interested in being a Com major. Shes amazing and super helpful. Very clear with what she wants. There are three tests and two speeches. BUT! Only one speech and two tests are mandatory. The last test and second speech are interchangable, which is nice. I woud if youre going to be taking her show up to class.

Good choice. She can be difficult to understand, but she is a very good person. She does yell a lot. A LOT. Do your work and leave your attitude at home. You will work with your peers.

Shes deff a tough cookie. But she really does care about her job. Literally just show up, do the assignments on time, and show you care. She will pass you.

She was mostly a great professor overall, and was funny during class. The workload in this class was pretty light, except for a speech at the end of the semester. She says you should be using the textbook but you really don't have to. I would recommend her if you are taking COM 101.

Professor Zhang is a wonderful professor. She has slides highlighting chapters of the textbook & is clear about what will be tested. Participation at least once a class is necessary, it's a communication class. Make your presence known & you're golden. I loved Prof. Zhang's class! She is very funny and understanding person. 3 exams and a 3-5 minute speech, which by the way she is lenient when it comes to the speech. She posts all the needed lecture notes I barely used the textbook so I don't think it's worth buying. Participation is a MUST as she rewards bonus points that way every class

Absolutely love her. She is passionate about the subject and teaching. She is very engaging and values participation. She holds expectations for us and motivates us to do better. If you pay attention and participate, the class is great. She is good at what she does.

Professor Zhang can be tough, but engaging with her system pays off. The textbook is useful, and study tools like unstuck ai helped me prep. Participation is key - stay present and you'll do well.

Prof. Zhang was easy. Try to raise your hand at least once each class so you can get points towards exams. No participation=Penalty points. Technically she does "require" a textbook and she'll reference it here n there, but I personally didn't use it once and regret buying it. Her lecture notes are provided to you and are super simple.

Easy class, easy professor. I'd take it online if I were you, easy discussions and essays. You can complete every assignment in 2 weeks if you wanted to, but of course there are due dates.
