Very easy class if you go over his study guides, allows two pages front and back on exams, makes everything understandable to a first grader. very helpful and friendly.

I remember Yitzak well. An excellent professor who cared about both his students and family. Brought his very old mother to lectures so she wouldn't wander off. Hired a college student to watch her also. Had live critters to show vectors in class. etc.

Easy class, easy tests. Huge lecture hall & by the end of the 1st class, he could identify someone by name if you gave him a row & seat number. Very intelligent & caring.

Yitzhaks the man

Yitzhak is absolutely amazing. He calls everyone his "good friend" and throws things into the class a lot. He runs around and has a high pitched voice. He's Yiddish, awesome. The class is ridiculously easy. He would be an excellent kindergarten teacher, and yet we get to enjoy him in college.

Great Teacher! Goes over everything 50 times! Homework is 2 problems that you can do right after they are assigned. He gives you 4 old test before the real test. He makes the class really fun! The best teacher i've had!!! and he will always tell say "We're still friends!"

Great class. So much fun. Keeps your attention in a lecture hall. Extremely nice man. Tests are easy if you study the example questions. Homework takes 10 min. Take this class!

I had Dr. Sharon 30 years ago at Stockton for Physics. He is a literal genius, but he spoke to us "kids" like we were adults. He is definitely one of my all time favorite professors.

Yitzhak Sharon is everyone's friend. He is interesting, creative and human. I had two Physics classes with him in the early 80's. He would bring his very old mother to classes with him and hire a student to keep her safe. I visited the school a few years back and he not only rembered my name but all the my friends in my row in his course. Amazing.

Everyone in class is his friend. Yizhak would sometimes bring his mom in class with a student momsitter. She would speak to Yitzhak in Israeli. Sometimes she fell asleep in class and her dentures would fallout. He was a great son taking care of his failing mom. Yitzhak is so sweet and helpful. He holds plenty of review sessions however I only went to the one right before his exams. He makes science easy to understand. This is def a class you should take espcially to fulfill your GNM requirements.

Yitzhak is an amazing professor. Beware of your head and laptop in this class: He likes to toss basketballs, footballs, and ice! If this bothers you, try to get a seat in the back row! I had Yithak for Differential Equations, Theory of Chess, and Man, Atoms & Universe. This was in the late 70's. We stayed in touch though now in 2012. He is brilliant, super clear and the kindest most modest person I ever met. Take him for advanced classes. He goes faster but is just as clear as in the low level classes.

I LOVE Yitzhak & Roy! They make the course so interesting & fun! The class is overall easy BUT I highly recommend going to review sessions if u dont understand the material. The tests are majority of ur grade. I got an 87 on one of his tests and A's on the others and overall I got an A- in the class. So go to review sessions and u will get an A!!

Took his Physics 1 & 2 courses in the early 80's. I visited Stockton about 20 years later and happened saw Yitz in the hallway. I greeted him not expecting him to remember me. He said I know you. He began saying names and stopped at my name. He rembered the seating order from 20 years prior. Simply amazing. A dear soul and truly an amazing mind.

This is a perfect blow-off class was on my laptop thru all the classes, gives homework after every class, but it is really easy. Most of the stuff he teaches i already learned in high school. Gives a sample test before every exam, and if you go to the review session right before the exam you are almost guarantee an A.

Absolutely brilliant! Calls everyone his friend and keeps every one of his 250 students paying attention by throwing cork balls and foot balls into the crowd. Awesome class. It was a lecture class and even though the class was huge, he did a fantastic job of entertaining and engaging the class each day. I took this class for credits but I ended up loving it. Test and hw are easy! I recommend this class for those with a heavy class schedule because its a great way to unwind and have fun and get credits.

My professor in 1975 at Stockton a showman, brilliant, funny, personal. An unforgettable character. He asked our class of about 150 in Physics auditorium each of our names. The next week he called everyone by name having memorized all 150 student names. Amazing man.

There is no textbook, 3 exams that are open notes, and study guides online. There is homework after every class, but it's never more than 3 problems and is actually very helpful. Yitzhak is very intelligent and it is refreshing to see a professor who loves what he does so much and really wants his students to do well. Attendance is a big part of your grade but you are allowed 4 absences. There are homework questions every week and a total of 3 tests. You are also allowed to makeup the tests. I loved his class!

This is a great class to take if you are not a math or science person but need a Q class. The professor goes above and beyond to help you if you are lost.

My favorite Professor. At the time Yitzhak was unmarried. He would bring his mom to class with him to keep an eye on her she had dementia. Mother was 80-90 and spoke Israeli. Yitzhak had a student probably paid keep an eye on her in the classroom. Yitzhak interacted with her during class as needed. A loving son + friend to all. I Love Yitzhak.

Super easy class even if you arent a science person. Three tests that you can use a calculator on, have a cheat sheet, and has no time limit to finish. plus make up tests if you dont do well. Really nice and fun guy, definitely an easy A while also being not terribly boring.

This class was the easiest course i've taken in my college career, and fun! It was a 250 person lecture hall so you could get away with being on your phone/laptop the whole class, just make sure you understand whats going on so you can pass the tests & do the homework.

Yitzhak was super easy because it is a lecture. Just show up and do the homework. He also lets you bring a cheat sheet for his exams. Though he goes to the very last minute of his lectures which can get boring at times. He also throws things around the classroom for demonstrations so beware.

Easy A. Sweet man that takes time on notes to make sure everyone gets it, assigns 3 tests that are clearly written and based off class examples (he provides practice tests to study from), and very easy weekly homework. Very basic math used to cover introductory level physics topics. Great option to fill a GNM requirement.

Atom, Man, Universe is a great q course for non science majors at stockton. Super interesting if you like the ideas of space, physics, and science, but you can't do the math that comes with it. One easy homework assignment a week. Cute textbook has short sci fi stories too. Yitzhak is super kind and wants to make sure everyone can understand.

Yitzhak is the best professor that will help you succeed in the class even if you do not get the material at all. He has the patience to teach someone for 1-2 hours on material and cares about your grade. Participation is key but this is a great professor that is amazing no matter what the subject is.

I took physics during Covid-19 and physics is never easy but Yitzhak would do anything to help any student. I was struggling on an exam and he personally called me to answer my question. Professor Yitzhak is such a good professor. Ive always struggled in science but he taught so well that I was able to understand everything.
