He is an amazing teacher. He relates each topic to general authority quotes and the gospel. His teaching style made me want to learn psychology even more. Take his class, you will not be disappointed.

seemed hard at first, but once you figure him out it gets a lot easier. be prepared for study groups that have to write big papers (but aren't worth much of your grade) quizzes, lots of reading, he gives an extremely straightforward study guide for each test which makes it much easier. overall a pretty okay teacher

He is an excelent teacher. He is passionate about what he does. He understands what his job is. He uses many differnt types of teaching throughout the course which is helpfull. He respects your ideas and opinions. It is a demanding course, but you learn a ton and feel like you are better equiped when you finished. He cares about his students.

He is a very good teacher, but he grades harder than any teacher I've ever known. If you take this class, be prepared to work your butt off on small assignment to get full credit for them. The tests in this class are all written, which is a lot harder than most.

He is a great teacher and really knows his stuff. Hes passioante about psychology and actaully wants us to learn something. As far as being a hard grader- suck it up! If you do the assignement and follow all the requirements you will do well, but he doesnt hand out A's like most professors at this college. Work for your grades!

Bro Delton cracks jokes all class and they're actually fairly funny! He is good at answering questions and explaining things that are hard to understand but he is also the first to admit he doesn't know everything. Not a ton of busywork but a bit of it. Only 3 tests and they aren't comprehensive. Did a good job combining aspects of the course.

Brother Delton, is the ideal teacher. He is very close to his students and makes you feel comfortable and wants to make sure you understand. On the other hand he expects hard work and serious study which is obvious. On top of it all, he always has the words to put a smile on your face :)

Brother Delton is a good teacher. He has a positive relationship with his students and is hopeful that we succeed. His teaching style is to simply go over the chapter we assigned for the class period, which, in my opinion, is a semi-ineffective teaching style, but I think it is ok. His tests seemed slightly difficult, read & review text chapters.

I think Brother Delton is pretty straight forward. He sticks to his syllabus, expects that you do the work outside of class and his lectures are for clarification. There are pop quizzes that are meant for a grade buffer but as long as you prepare (what an idea) you'll do fine. I don't know what people think is hard, just do the work.

Brother Delton is AMAZING!!!! If you have a question on anything he will answer it in class or after. You have a quiz about every week in his class but as long as you know the vocab terms for that chapter then you will do great. He is super funny and a great teacher. I would take another class from him any day.

Where to start? He pretty much just reviews the part of the book that he had you read the nights before in class, so if it weren't for the pop quizzes on random days every week, I wouldn't have bothered going to class. His tests weren't too hard as long as you DO THE READING. He was pretty funny, but I don't feel like a learned very much from him.

This is the best class that you can ever take! Brother Delton is my favorite professor ever! I want to take all his classes from now on. He is so passione about teaching. He gives great examples, his lessons are funny and you can really learn a lot. Half the quizes were extra credit. There is a lot to learn, but it's worth it. Take him if you can!

This course requires a ton of reading, but only you will benefit from that reading. He has really great perspectives and he does refer to the Brethren on certain topics.

He's a great teacher. His classes can be a little boring but you definitely learn a lot. There is a lot of reading from the textbook and he gives pop quizzes over the chapter.

Brother Delton will treat you like a graduate student. He expects you to actually think for yourself, he will not spoon-feed you. For that reason he is the best professor available. If you have drive, he will do everything he can to give you specific opportunities to help with your future. He grades hard, so, if that scares you then don't take him.

Brother Delton is hilarious and thoughtful. His class has 21 exams, but they're open book. READ THE BOOK from cover to cover and you'll be fine. It's a really interesting book so it's not too bad. He also has pop quizzes once in a while, essay exams, and book reviews. However, he is an easy grader so don't fret too much. I highly recommend him!

It is a lot of material to cover but Brother Delton is a good sport about it and does his best to help you through it. Brother Delton is a really cool guy and teacher, but his class structure is not for most. He gives pop quizzes every class on the chapter you HAVE to read in the textbook. His tests are 25 questions 25 minutes open book open notes, but good freaking luck. He makes you literally read all the textbook or you won't do well in the class at all.

BRO DELTON IS THE BEST. This class based on content seems pretty mundane, but he makes it well worth it. The content of this class is not hard to grasp, however, the workload he gives is pretty excessive. I'm a junior, and it's the most work I've ever had to do for a class. But he is so funny and awesome. You'll love him if you take him.

Class outline and expectations are clear. Go over material before class and you'll do well. He assigns actual books and original articles; read them and you'll learn so much. I love this teacher but his class isn't a picnic. You are expected to do the reading and study for the Exams. He doesn't take role but there are pop quizzes and the class discussions are really helpful so it is worth going. He is pretty good about grading and feedback. As long as you put forth the effort you will get a good class in this class.

This class is heavily based on the reading, he likes to give pop quizzes on sometimes obscure material. He can be dry and awkward but he's a good professor.

Bro Delton is the BEST! I have dyslexia so I was really worried about all of the reading but he helped me find ways so I could be successful. The material is dense but he makes it really interesting and engaging. There will be pop quizes throughout the course so i would recommend reviewing the reading at least some time before you cover it in class

Brother Delton is a very sweet teacher. There are a lot of long readings and exams after each chapter but they aren't too hard. You can use your notes and textbook! Beware of his pop quizzes, they are rather difficult and can take huge chunks out of your grade!

Great teacher. Not as hard as everyone says he is. Super funny and entertaining lectures that make you think in new ways. Grades are pretty much based off of chapter tests from the book which are open book, open note, and have unlimited retakes, 4 book reports which are pretty easy, occasional pop quizzes, 2 written exams, and an open book final.

I am so happy I took this course. DELTON IS AWESOME!!! this is my favorite course, hands down. I got to learn consulting skills, leadership skills... And the projects are real world, for real people. Loved it.

Lots of reading from textbook, other books. cant cover all the material in class. Get a tutor if you want an A. Some get As w/o tutor (Geniuses). Tests are simple & easy IF you read the chapters, attend, review. Lots of busy work, but everything you learn is in later classes (very applicable). He emails regularly & offers extra cred.

Lots of reading! I just read the summaries of the chapters, but loved the articles and books assigned. Take notes on the readings and lectures so you aren't overwhelmed when you have a timed essay test. Pop quizzes: mixed with easy and semi-difficult ones. Extra credit made up one I missed and more. He is awesome and his class makes you think.

Brother Delton is a very enthusiastic teacher. He can take course material that is really dry and make it fun and interesting to learn about. He is from France so he has a unique accent but he is still easy to understand. I highly encourage anyone that has the opportunity to take a class from him to do so.

Fantastic teacher. The way he lectures and tests is very unlike other teachers I have had. He wants you to learn to think and expound instead of just memorizing things. That makes the class more difficult but if you put the work in you will be greatly rewarded with what you take away from the class.

While this approach is reading heavy, it gave me the cognitive energy and freedom to truly embrace the content of the class. I have a passion for this material because of his method.

Brother Delton is amazing and his class is so much fun, but it is a lot of material and you do need to read the textbook. If you don't come to class you'll miss valuable things that will be on the exam. He curves the exams, and he gives a lot of freebie quizzes to help your grade. You are not required to attend, but there are occasional pop quizzes over the reading. (You can make up these quizzes if you are sick). Brother Delton changed my life and my entire class loves him!

Brother Delton is really a great teacher! I really struggled with him because there wasn't a clear structure to his lectures, and I would often get lost on the point of the lecture. The tests weren't created until almost last minute, not giving a ton of time to work on the study guide and to fill it out during that unit. STUDY HARD!

Brother Delton is the smartest person I've ever known and one of the brightest personalities on campus. Hilarious and insightful. The lectures were amazing. You rely HEAVILY on the textbook. Read that thing like there's no tomorrow. Tests are hard, but a lot of the answers come straight from the text and he always curves the grade. 10/10!

Take this class later in your degree because it has very rough tests that take a long time. it was open book open notes. All you have to do to pass is read the textbook and you'll get the rest

Brother Delton is a great professor. I had to attend his lectures over Zoom, but they were very inspirational. There is a lot of reading, and there are pop quizzes you need to be aware of. They aren't super difficult though. Exams are harder, but they are open book/note, and you can take them up to three times. He really wants you to do your best.

Loved taking him for class, he gave great lectures and almost always broke it up so we didn't get bored. Exams are worth a lot of points, but they're all open book/open note and pretty easy if you have the book. He gives pop quizzes randomly that count as a quiz grade and an attendance grade, but other than that, really easy.

Brother Delton was a fantastic professor. He takes a history class and makes it inspirational and informative. There is a lot of reading that you have to do and pop quizzes pretty much weekly. However, the reading is usually interesting and the pop quizzes are easy if you just do your reading. He changed my perspectives and I highly recommend him!

I have never had a class make me think about what I believe as much as this one. I am coming out of this a stronger believer in Christ. I also liked the class discussions and the articles we read. The texbook was pretty good but some chapters felt long. The exams were multiple choice open book and open notes. Overall, loved this class!

I loved Brother Delton! I took him because of his RMP rating and he was exactly what I expected. He's funny, genuine, and he cares. His class is hard, but if you do the readings and use your textbook on the exams, you'll be just fine!

Professor Delton is very lecture heavy, but the lectures are more than just covering material, they're showing you how psychology played a role throughout time and how it affects the now. He ties in the gospel very well, but challenges your way of thinking in the best way possible. Listen and he'll tell you how to thrive in the class. He's amazing!

"LET'S GO, BABY!" Brother Yohan was a fun teacher to have. He was funny and kind. He gives pop quizzes in class from the reading. He has two exams which both consist of essay questions. He gives you a list of possible questions on the exams. I thought that was really helpful for studying. There is a lot of reading and a book report due at the end.

Brother Delton does really care about his students. He gives you a couple freebee's with quizzes which was helpful. However, the class requires a lot of reading and the midterm and final were brutal to study for. A book report at the end of the semester saved my A and Brother Delton graded it leniently in my opinion. He lectures almost all class.

This class has an INSANE amount of reading. Summaries are your best friend. Brother Delton is an amazing professor, and his lectures are so interesting. My only qualm is that you don't ever apply his lectures in tests. All the tests are 100% textbook based so I don't feel like I learned as much as I should have. Pop quizzes are WEIGHTY.

There is a lot of reading because there are quizzes in almost every class, but if you look over the summary and glossary terms for the chapter you should be fine. Awesome experience.

Brother Delton was very inspiring and bore testimony often. He was great at keeping the lectures and discussions from getting too off track. He really cares about his students and wants them to learn rather than just pass the class. The readings were difficult sometimes but led to greater understanding of the principles talked about in class.

This class was one of my favorites this semester. Professor Yohan does a great job at giving you a variety of perspectives and his lectures are amazing 100% would take again.

He creates a classroom environment where it's easy to be yourself & to ask questions. He's funny & spiritual. Attendance not mandatory, but if you are gone on a quiz day you can only make it up if sick--not a big part of your grade tho. Idk if it was just for summer semester but all exams were open note & book, & you could take them up to 3 times.

Brother Dalton is actually hilarious. Class everyday was basically you do a pre-reading before class, talking about the reading in class. He does like pop quizzes but if you actually do the pre-readings they are super easy. His Exams were also extremely easy.
