Very good professor. clear rubrics and assignment specifications. I don't understand the love professors have for discussion posts. I wish they would drop it.

This course is very simple if you follow and read the professors instructions. She has everything organized and is easy to navigate through each assignment. Professor Bridges is a bit of tough grader but she just wants to get out the best of us. Also, professor Bridges is available for any questions and can give you the best feedback.

She is very straight forward with what she expects of you. This is not a normal English class so don't treat it as such. Follow her rubric exactly and you will do good in this class.

The class was very well organized. She tells you exactly what she is looking for in the assignments she gives. She also allows you to work forward in the class if you want to get ahead. She is very nice and i really enjoyed her class.

Prof. Bridges is super clear on expectations. Follow her detailed rubrics, and you'll do great. For study prep, unstuckstudy ai and the free textbook are really helpful alongside her videos.

The class was structured exceptionally well, and the instructor clearly outlined her expectations for each assignment. She also provided the flexibility to work ahead, which was great for staying on top of the workload. Her approachable and supportive nature made the course enjoyable, and I truly appreciated the experience.

I took this professor for my ENGL 2311 8 weeks session and the work seems to be decent. Her grading criteria is very specific and straight to the point. The online videos on how to do the assignments might be outdated but still mostly the same criteria for you to do the assignment.

This class was really organized from the beginning. Took an 8 week course and it was very manageable. With a couple hours a week dedicated to this class, you should receive an A. Just don't procrastinate because the work can pile up quickly.

Professor Bridge's class was great, very straight forward and easy to complete the work. There are many discussions some that are about the exercises in the textbook and others to respond to classmates. There were also assignments due every Tuesday at 6PM. I finished most of the 8 weeks in the first 2 weeks and took its slow from there.

I the 8 week course and I loved that we were able to work ahead. I finished like 80% of the class in 2-3 weeks. Very straight forward and easy. There was a lot of writing, but it's expected for a writing class. There were many discussion posts, and written assignments and 4 quizzes which were 4 questions long. If you do the work, you can't fail.

This course was exceptionally well-prepared, and the videos were invaluable in helping to complete the assignments successfully and achieve a strong grade.

Professor Bridges is a very nice person. She has helped a lot in learning and also provided great help in figuring the course out. great examples are provided which makes writing very easy.

Took an eight week ENGL2311 online class with Professor Bridges. She is very organized and makes all the due dates and assignments very clear from the beginning of the course. It is also easy to work ahead as all of the material is posted at the beginning of the semester.

Took as and 8w course and was easy to keep up with. Each week there is a new main assignment and the discussions, quiz and exercises from the textbook. For my course the due date for the main assignment was set at 6pm which was difficult as I have other responsibilities. Other than the 6 pm due date, it was an informational and helpful class.

She will sometimes not have rubrics, or not outright state something in the written instructions, but other than that it tends to be clear. She is very strict on formatting. She does not reply to emails very fast. If you make a mistake more than once, each time it happens you will lose more points. The discussion boards and exercises are easy.

Course was super easy to take. If you have to take English 2311 I recommend taking it with her.

Very straightforward and grades you based on what is expected. Clearly follows everything outlined in the syllabus. Could become tedious but that is with every English class. The assignments were engaging and very helpful.

Instructions were clear and she allowed you enough time to complete your work. The deadlines were different from my other classes but that is the only thing I had trouble with. Work is easy when you read the textbook and follow instructions. No tests and the final was easy. I encourage you to take this class!

Dr. Yolanda Bridges is a great professor. I took her ENGL 2311 Technical and Business Writing class and the instructions are clear and well explained. I found the textbook very useful for the in-textbook exercises and for studying purposes to prepare for the quizzes. This class helped me prepare well for the professional work environment.

Professor Bridges is a tough grader. Her due dates are at the beginning of the week and due at 6pm. If I knew this, I wouldn't have taken her class. Her quizzes are only 4 questions so if you get one wrong you fail the quiz. Good luck if you take this course.

The overall course wasn't too difficult. A lot of reading is involved, but you can overlook the important parts needed for the assignment. Her due dates are very weird, most of them are due Tuesday by 6 pm. I would recommend her as most of the assignments were light. Most of her assignments were less than a page long.

Professor Bridges' course was one of the most easy to understand ENGL courses I have taken. She has assignments that help us with real-world communication skills. She grades based on how the textbook teaches us, but the textbook is very easy to read and understand. She has helpful videos, where she goes over each assignment and its requirements.

The course was not hard at all. Most assignments are roughly a page long with a discussion post almost every week. You will need to buy the textbook as the exercises come from there and without the textbook you will be lost. Assignments are due at 6:00 pm on either Tuesdays or Saturdays, which is not bad but the time for me is a bit weird.

Bridges is a great professor! I learned a lot in her course. Her guidelines on the writing assignments were clear and she gave great feedback. The assignments were manageable, not difficult at all. I did struggle with the weekly discussion posts that were due on Saturdays at 6pm. I found them to be tedious. Besides that, great professor & course!

Only problem I had was the way she grades. She puts in a 0 for every assignment before you do them because you haven't "earned a grade" yet. You don't know your real grade until the end of semester, so it's hard to tell if you have to drop or stay in the class. But she's overall a good teacher. Gave a lot of good life advice and is fun and quirky.

Despite this being an English class, we only wrote 1 full essay. Workload is pretty light; just show up to class and participate. Prof Bridges is lively and keeps the lectures enjoyable. She also grades fairly and will help you edit your work and improve your writing. Keep due dates in mind if you want to pass with a high score.

Professor Bridges' class was a nice experience. Every assignment had a clear and concise rubric to follow, including a video for further assistance. The assignments are very straightforward but legitimately helpful towards the objective of the course. If you are wondering where to take English 210 outside of your university, take it with Yolanda!

Online 8 week class for summer. Easy 2 navigate online. Workload is doable while maintaining 8-5 job. Do not overthink assignments, please look at rubric & video before every assignment. You will need online book. Please be sure to read it, you cannot find the answers online but not difficult. She is really nice. You definitely will learn! 10/10
