Ethical, Morally sound, and good person. Tends to be unclear sometimes. Class has the choice to choose how many exams they want, depending on the majority he will choose (my class had 3 MTs). Tests are MC, and somewhat difficult. Be nice and show ur ethical, keep ur word, and thats it.

His exams are not easy but they are not hard either. Just read your notes, book, and pay attention in the class. Everything is either in the book or notes. A very nice professor.

He lets you buy your own textbook which helps save money. He shows lots of short video clips that are related to the discussed topics in the class which keeps the class interesting. You do have to take good notes and pay attention in the class as the exams are detailed oriented.

Prof Son successfully merges complex areas such as engineering, business, and psychology into one interdisciplinary course that all students can comprehend and appreciate. I found this (as did the rest of my entire class) to be one of the most intersting and helpful classes I have taken at Baruch. Dr. Son is a great teacher and even better a good person. I highly reccomend him.

I find it surprising that the undergraduate students do not like him, and I guess it is because they are not mature enough to have this type of unique and fun yet VERY relaxing lecture style. Very unique approach.3710 is a math based class however there is almost no math taught, instead you are taught why and how the math is applied.I found this refreshing as most math based MGT classes only teach the math without applying it. Easy class if you pay attention and attend.No book required saves money, but difficult to prepare for class.

Relatively easy class with few easy assignments: 2 homework, 2 exams (m/c), 2 quizzes, short presentation, and debates. Take him: if you do your work yourself, you should not have any problems.

This Professor is a good teacher. He has a unique approach to teaching. He shows a lot of videos related to course topics, allows students to pick topics they are interested in. After 1st MGT class i fell asleep in every day i thought this class would be the same but he really tries to keep your attention in class with videos and interactive power point and teaching style. The exams are difficult and cover everything including parts of the syllabus but he is VERY fair and lenient grader and also a great person.

This is one of the best courses I took during my time at Baruch. Professor Son is an unorthodox teacher. He is great at teaching students to think of education as more than just grades. This professor is by far the most respectful and kind hearted professor I have ever had. I would highly recommend to take his class. He is a fair grader and there are not a lot of assignments, however the ones assigned are interesting and really make you think. He's so easy. There'e one debate, 2 exams, no final and a few quizzes. He uses short video clips a lot to illustrate the use of concepts by real companies. He throws extra credit points at you. He has adopted Deming's philisophy for respect people and eliminate waste. Just pay attention and you'll be fine in this class.

This class was a bit different from my other classes.The midterm30% was lenient, quizzes 15% a little tricky but not impossible+presentation 10%(nice&easy)+behavior 15%+final(notcumulative30%).My advice is to be on time, take good notes&study. I think how much you like this professor depends on what kind of person you are. He cares a lot about ethics and stuff, so if your not into that you won't like it. But if you want a prof who cares about you and wants you to learn, and your willing to put in the effort, its quite the experience.

I think this class is fair enough, if you can participate in class, have a great attitude and read the book, only few chapters compare to other prof. and no final, only 2 exam. if you think you can attend all the classes and no late, absence, read the book, the material is easy, show your respect and attention to this class, you will be fine.

I took his class in spring 2010. I thought that this class was difficult at the beginning, but it turned out to be the easiest class that i had in that semester. Professor Son emphasized on ethical behaviors. I think he is in our best interest because we don't want to screw the society up when we become key players in the business world.

EASY A! What's so hard about copying everything on his powerpoints and memorizing them? Tests consist of material exactly from powerpoint.

First of all, this is a very easy course considering there will be minimal math required, everything is conceptual. He lectures alot about life&expects you to be a good person-help others, be a good humanitarian. Visit his office a lot, he remembers you. TYPE YOUR NOTES, and everything he says.
