She teaches very fast, but if you attend all of her lectures you will be fine. For her stat 108 class, there are 3 quizzes, 3 tests and then a final. Be sure to review your tests/quizzes to make sure they were graded correctly because her TA this year marked several things wrong that were not. Overall, she is very funny and tries to make it fun.

Dr. Kim-Park is such a great teacher. She teaches REALLY fast, but you get used to it. I felt like I couldnt understand the concepts very well without going to lecture. Homework is mandatory. No quizzes. 3 tests and a final. Shes super funny and easy going, and is available during office hours. Im taking her again for STAT381.

Compared to taking business calculus with another professor the first time, Professor Park's summer class was a piece of cake. No hw, quizzes, or even attendance. A lot of students just showed up for the weekly exam. 4 tests with lowest one dropped and a final. Exam questions identical to class examples. Wished I had taken her the first time!

By far the BEST professor I had! Dr. Kim Park's lectures are clear to understand if you can handle her speed. Study her examples and do the hw, they will help you in exams. If you need help, ask her questions. In fact, she is begging us to ask her questions. Funny. Highly recommended!

Dr. Kim's lectures are funny and FAST. You have to keep on top of your work and PAY ATTENTION in the lectures. The class is graded on few items which is difficult but if you go over the lecture content on your own, you'll have covered pretty much everything on the exams. To reiterate: you have to go to class!! Then again, you're in college, so.....

10%HW/60%Exams(3)/30%Final; Pros: Prof. Kim-Park always takes questions before and during lecture if asked. She makes lecture really fun at times. Exam grading criteria is reasonable. Respectable; Cons: HW feedback could be better. Also, she's unreasonably picky at times when it comes to solutions to HW problems, kinda frustrating ngl.

This class goes VERY FAST. If you are able to keep up with her speed then you will do fines. Quizzes are fairly easy and are similar to examples she goes over in class. Exams are slightly more challenging. A couple of WebAssign chapters per week and are usually unrelated or more difficult. Don't be afraid to ask questions especially during activity

Dr.Park was a great professor! She explained the material well although she did go a bit fast at times. HW every week due Thu and it can pile up if you leave it last minute. Exams were okay, some hard questions but if you study you should pass. Answers any questions you have and helps in OH. Prob takes some getting used to so do alot of examples.

She was a great professor. Her lectures were quite clear and straight forward. Although, you will have trouble keeping up with her speed. Bring a camera or a camera stand to record lectures. She is FAAASSSTTT. I can't even write half of the notes she writes in class. However, she is extremely helpful and even offers review sessions if needed.

Unbelievably smart. She can do very hard integrals on the board much, much faster than I can copy them down. She lectures quickly but will stop and elaborate if you raise your hand. The homework is very hard but prepares you well for tests if you make sure you understand it. You will know your stuff after getting through this class. Ask questions!

Tests are Extremely Hard. "They're problems relative to homework or classwork" according to what she said but they are completely different. She does not give the study guide question and repespect we know anything. She is a professors teaches material straight from the book and the students would be sitting there understanding nothing.

While she is fast, it leads to more time for her to answer homework questions to help review for exams. Although her exams seem "hard", most of her exams come directly from her notes. If you study her notes, you will do fine. Although most of the tests were not curved, she curves at the end. I got an A for both 380 and 381.

GREAT lecturer, explains the proofs for rules and theorems but does not make you do them. Lots of partial credit and curves tests w/ low averages. Weekly quizzes, webassign per section, 3 tests + final. Quiz and test questions are fair, easier than webassign. Not an 'easy' A for Calc 1, but will immensely prepare you for Calc 2. Also pretty funny

If stats isn't your strong suit this professor will be hard. She goes super fast and if you dont attend office hours good luck. She's also quite mean when students ask "easy" questions in class which imo isn't how a professor should react since it discourages students from asking questions in general. If you can take another professor

She can be rather crass when responding to student questions like other people have said. She tends to lecture at a pace I am not used to. Regardless her lectures were excellent and had lots of detail. No need to read the textbook. Her exams were primarily based on the lecture examples with some of the hw sprinkled in there. Lots of work but doable

The best professor for Mathematical Statistics. If you are a grad student who needs to take this class as a prerequisite, Kim Park will prepare you very well (especially for STAT520). Homework is due the week after she finishes a chapter, and she is very clear about what will be on exams. Go to lecture, do the hw with effort, and study for exams.
