a very hard marker for a very easy course
extremely easy exams!!! don't have to study!
not responsible
heavy accent
fun course
stand up comedy.. that aren't that great
isn't grammatically correct in his exams
his exams are tricky
GPA BOOSTER
Cheerful fella, and actually uses a students name when answering emails
Pretty easy course, its good that Pank is being very enthusiatic in his teaching
Soooo daymn boring!!!! fell asleep almost every class, hard marker!
Boring as hell, but easy course
This guy is a hippocrit...he actually THINKS he's funny
difficult to understand at times due to accent but otherwise great course
Bad jokes. Accent takes effort to understand. Memorization is key to high score.
Just MEMORIZE!!!!
boring but nice!
Professor is good, and a very easy course - all momory work.
i think it's a good course.. he's not a bad prof.. sorta weird..
interesting
very easy course. all memorization. he has an accent and is kinda werid
This professor won't lend money to his student.
Easy Course
Easy A but you'll suffer through his lectures about bee dances etc.
Nice Prof. Seems like he enjoys what he does. Courses will bump GPA nicely!
very boring lectures; his accent is very hard to understand
Hilarious mannerisms. Enthusiastic. Into computational linguistics.
is he still teaching??
THE BEST!!!
Not a great teacher, annoying sounds. Accent hinders students understanding.
download the notes and memorize every single word, don't bother the lecture!
very helpful, funny guy
He is the type that makes Easiest course most boring and unclear. Yet course itself is extremely easy if u read. He often talks to himself inclass and his famous quote uh ohoh !
easy course...
what is he saying??? lectures suck, content is boring and he doesnt explain things very well!
Funny, enthusiastic and gives pretty good notes! His accent makes for a good time too.
What the heck is he talking about? It seems to me like he's having a conversation with himself. He can't explain a thing! Where have all the teachers gone?
You'll grow to love him. Vastly experienced and very helpful. Marks great too.
Accent is hard to understand at times. Repeatedly talks to himself in class, says the same annoying phrases over and over again. And over again. I go to class but I can never stand more than 10 minutes with the guy.
He just talks to himself. He can't teach. Better off reading the text.
He was the worst teacher I have ever had! He seems to know alot about language, but has horrible communication skills! He is rude and is a bad teacher! He also doesnt care if you are in the hospital and cant submit an assignment.
he doesn't know what a paradox is. he always wants to be in your shoes. he always says UH UH OH. he can't teach. suppose to be an easy course too.
COURSE WAS TO BE EASY BUT VERY CONFUSING PROF. VERY VERY CONFUSING...DON'T GOT A THING WAT HE'S TRYING TO SAY...DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TEACH...REALLY REALLY BAD! A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE @ SFU....ALMOST FAILED THE COURSE!!!!
I want to cry, but I try to smile :)
easy course, not bad of a prof if you understand his accent, helpfulness good -> replies to emails and sets up answers to the questions most asked by students, exams are easy if you do the previous exams which are very similar, couse is easy as well...
Talks to himself in class. Always says 'Uh-Oh-Oh', which is extremely annoying. I could NEVER stay focused for more than 5 minutes. I went to like 3 lectures the whole semester, and stayed for like 5 minutes each. Read text and do previous exams.
too many EXAMPLES and UH-OH-OH !! interesting course with a bad match of professor.
I don't understand why these people got so much upset about this Prof... This course is not damn hard... I guess just some crab first year students don't know what rules must be in university. Grow up! This is not high school!
Don't go to class, as long as you want a warm room to sleep. (P.S. it is not Wo Kao, It is Wo Cao which is more offical)

Prof was great, really engaging and funny and super quick to return emails. I wouldn't take this as your first Ling class, though. It really should have Ling 130 as a prereq.
Pankrats is the worst prof ever! the course isn't hard but he just babbles on about feed back, don't waste your time going to his lectures, its all feedback, and uh-oh-uh its like he's thinking outloud!
just read the text book and memorize all the rules that applies... nevermind the prof. i got a A+ in that class
interesting lectures and a good sense of humor. interesting content.
funny guy who does everything he can to help students succeed...I recommend going to every class, *do not* try to rely on lecture tapes
not difficult course.the prof is quite enthusiastic in teaching and try to help, but should do more to enhance then enthusiasm of students'

Amen to the previous comment
He has the clarity of a window smeared with excrement. His notes are a mess. Doesn't help that he's not helpful too. Also a very lame sense of humour. Jokes around but nobody laughs. Easy credit, but be ready for 3 months of absolute boredom.
he doesn't help at all. read the courseware..
Easy Professor!! Just read the courseware and you will do fine.. Trust me, this course isn't hard at all//
Do not ever take Ling 110 with this prof! has no clue wat he's teaching...going all over da place..take it with McFretidge if u have to.
lectures are BORING~! Sometimes the stuff he talks about are not in line with the courseware...overall assignments and exams are fair.. really need to memorize the "RULES"
A nice and very easygoing professor. Midterm and finals are fair and relatively easy. Too bad he isn't teaching next semester. I would love to be in his classroom again. BRAVO!!!!
a genuinely nice guy. he was always very nice to students and tries hard to help. class is pretty easy.
A very very easy course to take with him.. My first "A" ever at SFU.
Great Prof. Very helpful, friendly, and tries to keep the class awake. Ask him any questions u have regarding the class material he'll be happy to answer u in person or via email. Study his lecture notes well and u'll do great in the class.

ok easiest crap ive had , not the best teacher but when wut yur teaching is useless bs then it doesnt matter how good u r! very dedicated in my views answering ALL Qs
very easy teacher!! if you get a hold of past exam he's super easy, almost word for word questions and answer!.... he's very helpful too with the e-mails if you ever need to ask him questions. interesting class too, his lectures are funny with good exampl
I really don't know why a lotta ppl like him. I found his attempts at humour SUPER irritating, and I didn't find the class very easy.
Such a nice guy (he goes out of his way to help students) but his lectures and reading material, to be honest, were kind of boring.
He is a dedicated prof, he'll answer any questions you have, meanwhile keeping the class interesting. You gotta accept his jokes with an open mind, but aside from that he is an excellent prof.
The course was not hard but if you want to take this course don't take it with him. He can teach ling well but never cogs 100. He kept reading off textbook(not the one you have) in lecture and is hard to follow. Exams are brutal.
Wow. This guy is sooo easy and he's really funny. His lecture notes are all you need to look at to get an A in this course. Best.Prof.EVER.
He just rambles on about unrelated**** in class. Exams are a mix of self evidently true, and impossible to know questions.
His passion for the subject really helped me enjoy the class. He was quick in responding to emails, the exams were pretty strait forward, lectures didn't make me want to die,and he was a funny guy.But Sometimes wasn't exactly sure what people were asking him
Not a bad prof. Often goes off topic, but as long as you do the readings, you'll be fine. His "student files" are unecessary, but they are very interesting to read. Tests are easy, but his "circle the WRONG answer" thing is pretty conf
Incredibly boring but super easy class. He is a great guy but does repeat himself too often in lecture. Lecture notes and all online docs are all you need for this class. Quick on email, emails sample exams, etc. Ling 100 content not interesting.
I find the lectures interesting. Exams are FAIR once you know where he gets his questions from. Grade A Prof!
Easiest course ever.. All you need is past exmas to do well.. Almost word by word.. I got an A because of it.. Make sure you get hold of his past exams before taking the course.
Super funny guy with a lot of passion for the subject.
Fairly easy...but boring in general......and he likes to produce the birds' calls...-__-0
he does ramble off topic, but his noises and calls in class were entertaining, lectures were boring, his accent is kinda heavy so listen carefully...just study the notes he gives us and u'll b fine...
I am a Linguistics major and this course is said to be one of the easiest ones at SFU. But I don't know why I found it difficult especially when we're asked to memorize those latin words etc... I think Ling 100 is more interesting except there more to memorize.
Took his course 2 yrs ago, his lectures were very intersting, funny, easy to understand, u just cant fall asleep in his class. A++++++ prof!!!!
horrible teacher, cannot offer help or even understand his students
The way that he teaches is funny and interesting though the course overall is a bit dry. He is willing to help if u ask him questions after class. Tests and homeworks are not too hard though it requires a lot of memorization. Not the best prof that I've had but not a bad one either. I'll rate him B+
lectures r boring,i didn't go to class after the 1st mt but still got a A-. just read his notes and required text then u'd do fine.
great prof. super nice. he knows what he's talking about and has passion for it. its an easy class, just know the notes. mostly common sense
Amazing prof! He uses innovative teaching and is very passionate about what he is conveying to you. He prepares you well for both the midterm and the final. Lectures are fun with him and he makes it easy to retain the important information
boring lectures. okay prof in ling 100 but not 110. he didn't seem to know the materials well enough to teach ling 110
Strange but memorable sense of humour. He's obvously got a real passion for the subject, and brings a lot of energy to his lectures.
Avoid taking this class with Dr. Pankratz. He obviously loves what he teaches, however, for those not deeply interested in linguistics he is terribly confusing, unclear and his exams are dreadful!
A very hard class not made any easier by the terribly confusing (although nice) Dr. Pankratz.
Intense!!!
Really enjoys what he teaches. Also, he takes the time to listen and discuss issues with students one and one, and really seems to care. Lectures somewhat confusing, but he takes care to prepare really good notes. Exams are really easy if you show up for class.
Incredibly helpful - made lists of common student questions and e-mailed them to everyone in the class. Just make sure you pay attention - he can make you feel pretty stupid if you ask a question that he thinks you should know the answer to!
ok prof, willing to help students, encouage questions, but lectures r boring!! just study the courseware and u should do well~ easy A!
Very very boring. The prof is nice but he doesn't know how to teach! The syllabus is confused! The exams are not hard but unfair! The prof always talks about something off-topic and pretends to be funny. This course is stupid! My friend cried because of the exam.
easy material, nice prof, easy assignments, easy mid terms and finals.
AVOID! Hands down the WORST teacher I have ever had. Disorganized lectures, forgets his point, misunderstands student questions, drags on & on, goes off on unrelated tangents. Rude if you ask for help. It's an absolute chore to learn from his messy notes & lectures. Test format is confusing for no reason. Should not be teaching anyone, ever. AVOID!
He's a great professor, very engaging and he tries to help all his students. He has great stories and you can tell that he is very enthusiastic about the material. Plus the course is EASY!
perpare u r pillow, u will sleep on class..ZZZZZZZZ
You will definitely sleep in class. Some contents are quite interesting but he talks very dry. His notes are not detailed at all. You basically have to count yourself in doing well in this course. His tests are not that long and is mostly lecture based rather than text based. If you nap in class you can always listen to the audio. He records.
This is the best professor in the entire university! Material is interesting, prof is animated and interesting to listen to, exams are easy, just read his notes, and he's a real nice guy, like the father you wish you had!
Dr. Pankratz is an all right prof. Make sure you attend the lecture because you really have to listen carefully in his lecture in order to understand the course material better. He also offers many office hours for you to ask question, which is quite nice. Many word structures to be memorized though.
this guy is awesome. he records his lectures and if you actually RE listen to them, you realize a lot of what is confusing in class is actually explained. he is super nice, VERY helpful and really cares about his students. his expressions are hilarious and come test time, you will remember the material just bcuz u remembered how he said it!!
Pankratz is a cute man. I love him =3= anyways, his lectures are very boring. But he emails us student questions wif answers which are very helpful to our assignments and exams. Asking him questions directly is very helpful too. This course's materials are very easy to pick up. It's an easy A course.
OMG,this course is excellent for boosting up your GPAs.2 take-home mids, one's short-answer and the other one's essay.I think the course is not organized and lectures are unhelpful. You DON'T need to come to class to get a very good mark. Almost everyone gets A+. What the HELL...? Maybe because it's summer term...bonus for hard working students ^^
BORING LECTURES, sometimes his lectures are really hard to understand as he got a heavy accent. Exams were a bit tricky, not an easy course unless you do your reading & practice assignments.
He is a nice person that's about it. You don't need to go to the lecture since it's totally useless. Just spend 2 days to memorize the rules and go through his sample finals, it would be extremely difficult to get a mark lower than B
I like him. A great teacher and so helpful. He has a wonderful personality and passion for the subject. You rock Pank!
I'm sorry Dr. Pankratz, you're a pretty nice guy, but too bad that doesn't take the place of how crappy of a teacher you are. This guy doesn't explain anything. He says the same annoying phrases over and over and doesn't teach what needs to be taught. He's probably a smart guy but he's unable to deliver what he wants to say to the class. TERRIBLE
He is a nice guy, but sorry to say, he is not so good of an instructor. He abbreviates phrases to an extend that his notes are right next to being uncomprehendable. Also, his note are not frank nor informative. He gives great lectures, but he fails to keep some students focused. I also like how he posts questions he received from his students.
he's a great teacher. he cares about his students and posts significant and thorough resources for you to succeed. those who say he doesn't teach anything need to pay better attention and take better notes. his accent is a little hard to understand at first, but getting used to it isn't automatically really.
if you are a thinking but not a memorizing type of person, dont take it. and vice versa. his exams are easy if you memorize his notes and anything he tells you. exams will be hard if you wanna memorize all of them in a few days. it is lotsa lotsa stuff. classes are useless.
lectures are useless - everything is recorded - just listen to them online. the lecture notes (that he sends to students) doesnt really make sense. he is very very nice and tries hard to manage the class but i guess people taking it arent very respectful and there is a lot of chatting. midterms and finals aren't hard if you studied.
OMG This guy is hilarious! I loved his lectures. And he makes these awesome bird call noises that sound super realistic. This class is not hard. People try to scare you and make it seem like it's super difficult, but as long as you memorize the chart he gives you and pay attention in lecture and practice, practice, practice, there is no reason
Easy class! just memorize the rules!
This class was easy. You just need to memorize the rules and you'll do well on the exams. There are two assignments that are worth 15%, they're easy because there are unlimited tries. He has an accent, I couldn't really understand during lectures. I got a B+ with 2 days of studying before the exams.
if ur taking ling 110, take it with pankratz cuz it really boosts gpa with him. He gives TONS of practice samples even for assignments and he also sends files containing student's questions and his answers to everyone. the material isnt hard at all n the exams r very similar to his samples n assignments.. i cud'v gotten A+ if i didn't slack so much
BEST PROF EVER..HE IS DA****
Great German Prof. - excited about teaching , gives alot of good example and notes inclass, classes aren't boring - recommended prof. - enunciation = a lil hard to hear, and handwriting = e looks like c , very approachable
This class takes WAY too much work, it's not worth it. You gotta practise stuff over and over, people who say 'just memorize the rules' that doesnt work. That would be like saying take calculus and just memorize the formulas...
While this class is challenging, I highly recommend taking it with Dr. Pankratz. He knows what he's talking about, and responds to questions in lecture and via e-mail really fast. He gives lots of samples for EVERYTHING YOU DO and if you practice, you'll get a good mark. He gives you everything you need to know in lecture you just have to listen.
This class was HILARIOUS. Fairly easy material, so long as you pay attention to the examples he gives and memorize the rules. Pankratz is the most entertaining prof ever, though his accent makes him hard to understand sometimes. Final exam was way harder than the midterm though, watch out for that.
Dr.Pankratz is very obviously dedicated to the subject of linguistics. His appreciation for the subject truly comes across in his impassioned lectures. He is easy to relate to, and reiterates important concepts. He genuinely cares about his students and understands that Linguistics is not just academic, but very practical in our everyday lives.
really entertaining prof, but he sort-of misleads when it comes to the midterms and final
clear instructions for the assignments and the finals~it's an easy course you should take~
Funny prof. Has a very strong accent that's hard to understand. Sometimes he's misleading because he tells stories. In all, his notes are the best. No need to do readings or attend lectures (recorded). His notes are really detailed.
Study the notes and you will do well, for the notes are detailed and sufficient. Should attend lectures because he gives out some notes that might be on exams. Prof. is at times funny and exams are fair. The readings are recommended to back up the notes but not necessary. Marking is fair as well. A great gpa booster!
a class that you should be able to get atleast a B. Test layouts are majority MC/TF/FIB and some short answer. I personally find the prof quite boring, make sure you write down the examples he give in class, cause those are 99% going to show up SOMEWHERE in the exam. notes are detailed but very vague, readings are recommended to fully understand hi
He is the best prof i have ever had. I actually looked forward to his class because there were very informative and entertaining and i even grew an interst for linguistics. If your looking for a GPA booster take this class. All you have to do it attend lectures and pay attention in class and you'll get a minimum B-
Very funny professor - very enthusiastic about the topic. Definitely recommend him
Extremely funny. Made the course very interesting, and had lots of review. final was much harder than the midterm though...
Really funny and enthusiastic. Good gpa booster, text book is important.
pretty awesome prof.. yes indeed very enthusiastic but he has bad breath..attended all his lecs (but was often late) and i am glad that every lec was worth it! his exams are all well related to his notes and lecs (though he is traditional enough to still use overhead notes)
Very funny.A cute guy.passionate about what he teaches.really interesting.
Yourie is incredibly enthusiastic and more than willing to help with anything. He is also insightful and kind. I suggest speaking to him in his office hours. On multiple occasions we chatted for hours!
I got an A- for this class. Just memorize all the rules and Latin/Greek roots! I decided to major in Linguistics after taking this course.
Yourie is very passionate and patient, has the clearest notes with tons of examples. A great teacher overall. In Ling110, memorize those Latin roots as early as you can. That helps a lot in any of your works. Textbook and dictionary are not used a lot.
Exams are easy, never showed up to class and got a B. Don't even have to read the course reader because he gives you a summary of the readings in his lecture notes.
Very energetic and humorous prof and explained things fairly well. Also very fair with his marking. Would take classes with him again.
He is the best, if only I was a better student to take advantage. By the end of the term he literally provided us with all necessary information for A+ grade. Assignments, midterms, quizzes and file with 250+ questions from students that he answered and complied together. It's easy course if you follow Yourie's guidelines and do H/W. 5/5 would rec.
Textbook is not needed. If you can spend some time for memorizing the rules and the Latin roots everyday,A- is guaranteed. Go through his student questions is strongly recommended
I liked his teaching and his interest in the subject. Great prof. The lectures were very interesting.
I stopped going to lecture after the first midterm. I quickly learned that you can do pretty good on the midterms without attending lecture or reading textbook. Lecture notes (he e-mails them) are sufficient. He is very confusing. Poor grammar, heavy accent.
No need to go to class. Just read the notes and you'll be fine.
Cute gentleman. Notes are very useful. You don't need to buy the book.
My total grade is 79.5%. The grade in his syllabus for 80%-85% is B+. Class average is 73.5%. I got 100/116 in the last midterm. The highest score is 104. But I still got B only. I did not think a 100 level course would be hard like this. And he is a boring teacher. He even want us to trust there is some super power.
Tough class. Assignments online are super long, around 100 questions. Tests are extremely difficult because of the time limitation. Only an hour to write exams worth 100+ marks. Crazy. Prof has horrible accent, tries to be funny but isn't. This class should have tutorials, so material could be understood better.
So funny. Assignment so easy, exam so very simple!
Excellent prof, very clear on why Linguistics and word study matter. Encouraging, optimistic and will convince you to fall in love with mortuae linguae (dead languages)
Remember all the Latin Roots, look at this students question files and do the sample midterms, final and assignments that he gives you beforehand.
Very good prof. Must the best one for all linguistic courses. If you follow all the lectures you will be very successful.
He's lucky the course comprises mainly of rules which are not difficult to communicate. Whenever he explained WHY the rules existed, he defaulted to skit comedy using student volunteers but didn't actually communicate the point well. Rinse and repeat and you have every week of this course. Pay more attention to his notes than his speeches.
Be Prepared to memorize 4.5 pages worth of Latin Roots. Tons of rule sto memorize . lectures are very boring
The course is interesting. Needs memories and be able to identify rules. Sometimes the concepts were confused.
Yourie records his lectures, which helps with studying for his midterms. Midterms are noncumulative so they're easy to study for. This class is mainly memorization, so it's definitely a GPA booster
Good class, good prof. Provided you are respectful and do the reading, you'll do fine. Prof is caring and understanding, but no fool. Be sure to attend all classes, as all info is important for the midterms (those who don't generally do poorly). Midterms are "dense", with many questions, so be well-prepared and budget your time carefully.
Very kind and passionate, but gets distracted easily and very very hard to understand. lecture notes and memorization are key and much more helpful than his actual lectures.
Says "guys" a lot. Sometimes adds in (partially related) stories - gives a few minutes of break time in addition to 20 minutes true break (for 3 hour lectures). Some words are not enunciated correctly - usually possible to guess which word he meant. Memorization heavy. Only true/false, short answer, multiple choice and fill-in-the-blanks.
Kind of a frustrating professor. Hard to understand, rambles a lot, his tests and lecture notes are formatted really strangely and hard to understand due to English not being his native language. He posts all his lecture notes and records his lectures, which is nice. You can tell he is really passionate about what he teachers, but it's quite boring
Easy class
He's frustrating. Clearly knows what he's talking about, and clearly passionate about his material given he's been teaching this course for so long, but his poor English skills translate into both his lectures and his notes, which make them difficult to decipher. He also frequently ignores students who try to answer his questions or ask any too.
Lots of reading, dry content, and your mark is comprised of 3 midterms worth 30, 30 and 40%. This is the worst professor I've ever had by far. Lectures move at a snail's pace, you can self-study the content in 1/3 the time. About 50% of his lectures are "background information" and personal stories but if you skip them you miss tiny details.
lecture is boring exam is heavy strict rules in class. If u r using phone or labtop in class he will walk over to embrasse you. Time was short for exam and if didnt finish the sheets he wont allow you finsh it. Dont ever take his class . trust me.
He is nice. But his class is really boring.
His lectures are very clear and I like how he defines everything. Lectures can get a little off topic but I think his stories help keep people interested.
He's a really nice guy and it's clear he's passionate about what he's teaching but boy is he dull. During course selection season his rating here went from its current 3.2 to a 4.2, and then back down. Additionally in his syllabus and online he spells his name as Iouri Pankrats (unable to find him here). I can't help but be suspicious of this.
I took this course back in Spring of 2018. Iouri is a very caring and kind prof and makes a lot of time for his students if they need help with the class content after his lectures and during his office hours. His lectures can get a bit dry, as they often are 3 hours long, but he gives useful memorization tips for the content and is a solid choice.
pure memorization course. relatively easy course but the driest material. the prof is so boring and slow and its ironic that hes a linguist cause he cannot communicate clearly. his notes are super confusing. be ready to self teach. but if you are good at teaching yourself and basically just memorization the textbook you will be fine.
Iouri replies every e-mail from students and he will put all the questions in a document then uploads it to the canvas so that we can go over those questions before midterms or final. This is good. I won't take his courses anymore because his lecture is NOT GOOD. It will make you suffer to some extent.
Kind-hearted, wholesome man but a poor lecturer. The two assignments are online and absolutely useless for the exam. You need to be in class to understand what he's trying to teach but get read to teach yourself everything. His teaching style is not great which made this class hard. Got away with guessing 70% of answers on exams and somehow passed.
The most boring professor I have ever met. He constantly goes off-topic and takes forever to explain the material. Sometimes, he runs over time (even after a 3 hour class) and rushes his last points as everyone is leaving. The only reason he is rated so high is because his exams are easy multiple choice and you can just memorize the slides to pass.
The final was ridiculous. After the questions which we only had two hours to complete he made us stay an extra 20 minutes holding up our IDs to the screen so he could check each ID personally. The silliest online final ive ever had. He also changed the exam time and didn't allow students who missed it to redo it. Not good
A very nice man, but impossibly boring and extremely unclear. The lectures were dry and hard to follow, and he often literally just read off the lecture slides. Most frustratingly, nothing in the class was really explained or elaborated on in any way, leading to everything being total rote memorization that doesn't even make sense. Avoid.
The worst professor that I have had at SFU so far. He is condescending and makes no sense most of the time. When I would go up to him to ask him a question, he would put his face really close to mine and say "look into my eyes" and make me feel incredibly uncomfortable before responding. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COSTS.
I personally really enjoyed his lectures. The subject matter is not very interesting, but he is really passionate and funny. It is a challenging course, you must go over the slides in depth and memorize the bolded stuff. Only 3 tests (30%,30%,40%), not cumulative. Like 80-90 MC questions and like 7-10 short answers, to do in 1 hour. Very intense.
Terrible. Talked about bees on a loop for 6 hours (2 full lectures). Will never, ever take again. I watched a girl open the exam booklet and cry. We had an hour to write a 90 question essay, no they were not all multiple choice
I really don't recommend this professor. Online lectures are 3 hours long and he often makes no sense at all which makes them pretty intolerable. Exams were 100+ multiple choice/short answer in approx an hour. I can't say it's difficult; just not worth your time. Three midterms make up your entire mark so one bad test ruins your mark. Not worth it.
Hard exams, Long and confusing lectures that can be taught In very short amount of time. If you even provide evidence that why you were missing on Midterm, it's impossible to re do any of the tests. Your entire mark for this course is based on 3 midterms.
I showed up to the first lecture and realized he read directly off his slides and talked about unnecessary things so I never attended another lecture. The class consisted of a midterm and then a end of semester midterm and I would say were pretty easy. The class is a lot of memorization though, you basically need to memorize all the slide content.
The class is a lot of memorization, but the professor is caring and makes time for students. Lectures can be dry, but studying with Unstuck study and the free textbook helps a lot.
