All you have to do is listen to instruction and you won't have a problem. Don't surf the internet in class, copy your notes and hand in your assignments on time. He likes to joke a lot and more often than not nicknames people in his class. Once you get used to his style of humor, the class is really fun. I didn't even need the text book.

Keeps the class light & humorous but he WILL demand respect. Explains topics very well but course is difficult in general. Did not like that 2 tests given 4 entire semester. Tests could be fairer. Also gives homework and expects you to figure it out on your own. He may joke excessively but overall probably the best at teaching this course.

He took care of all the students in the class and sometimes, he made jokes of the students so that the students will feel like happy and interesting in the class. The best professor you can choose for C++ Language Programming Part I or any other CST class he teaches. He's really cool professor but really tough. You give respect to earn respect. This professor is great. He really doesn't judge you by the final nor mid term grades, even though try to do your best. As long as if you show up to class everyday, complete all or most of the programs, and do all or most of the HW assignments, then you should be able to pass the class with at least a C+ or higher.

He clearly explains at the beginning of the semester on how he might get angry at the students. So it's a fair game. If you are mentally weak student, you will get 'bi***y'. Otherwise, in his lectures he explains topics clearly (theory and practice), gives extra credits and engages students to participate. You will leave with a knowledge.

Once a week show up to lecture. Professor releases you early and tells you to go practice the material you just learned in class. Homework assigned every week, but isn't graded until the end. CST1204: Awesome teacher, strict yet caring. He will make sure you know the materials and ace the exams. Has extra credit criteria, helps with the overall grading.
