Attendance is required and class often runs late while she goes over the in class questions (for points) so you can't leave. She refuses to curve tests (only 10 kids passed on test 2 and there was no curve). Notes are not put onto blackboard, but you can tell she's passionate about teaching.

If you have a question during her lesson, she gets extremely annoyed and won't help you. Yujie Sude is one of the worst professors on this campus. She doesn't care about her students, and if you do bad its your fault she says. 76 percent of her students for this class failed the second test and gave no curve. She is a sweet person, but just don't think teaching is what she is made for.

Yujie Sude or "Dr. Beth" is the worst professor I have had to date. Avoid her class if at all possible. She makes data analysis extremely difficult even though the content is not advanced. She does not care about the students grades in the class and has no problem watching you fail. If Yujie Sude is your only option, wait until next semester.

She doesn't teach very well. Class often runs over because she is trying to do a problem that should take five minutes to explain in 2 minutes. On test two majority of the class failed over 50% and she said that we needed to "try harder" but if over 50% of the class isn't passing the test it is the teaching not the students. Don't take this class.

Dr. Beth has a good heart, but can be savage by telling us not to talk badly about her on this. Easily the worst teacher/professor I've ever had. English is not good, and she does a terrible job explaining the material. Whenever there's a question asked, she tells us to go look it up ourselves. Assigns surveys for bonus, and talks about the bad reviews she receives. Nice lady, but the Good Lord didn't mean for her to be a teacher.

For the love of god do NOT take this class. You're better off taking a gap semester and working as a landscaper for Walmart than trying to further your college education with her. The fact that I come to this class pretty much every single day, and I still fail is just beyond me. Ive put more time and effort into this class than any other. She never curves, doesnt explain well. Is a nice person but honestly does not teach this class well. Cheat sheet doesnt help much on tests, nothing like her material she gives us.

This class is already hard enough as it is. She makes everything seem harder than it really is. I went into this class knowing a decent amount about data and statistics and she made me more double guess what I already knew. She is very confusing when explaining everything and does not speak good English. I would stay away from her at all costs.

If you want to have a hard semester take professor Sude. She can be hard to understand and she refuses to teach how to use the calculator and insists you do all the work by hand. If you have to take her, your done!

Speaks quietly and is very hard to understand. Does not explain the simple way (for example calculator) but instead repeats the material that students don't understand for a second time expecting different results. I asked for help on 2 questions from the homework and she said that was too many and just picked one. Communication can be poor also.

This class isn't too hard, but it is so difficult following her lectures. They rarely go by the fill in the blank notes she gives. She also tends to talk very fast and mumble over important things during her lectures. Many times I asked a question and she didnt answer it. You do get a big cheat sheet on all of the tests though

Sude talks extremely fast, doesn't answer questions when asked by students, and has awful time management. I have set up multiple office hours appointments with Sude and she either forgets, cancels, or actually thinks I'm someone else and refers to me by names that are not mine even though she has met me on multiple occasions. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She was absolutely awful! Do not take this teacher! I love math and statistics but she ruined that for me and caused me so much stress and anxiety. Her grading is all over the place but seriously do not take this teacher!!!

I had to drop this class because it was absolutely difficult and she made it almost impossible to do well. She goes extremely fast and assumes that everyone knows how to do her material. I would not recommend taking her if you don't want to do well.

I have never struggled so much with a class than with Professor Sude. She was difficult to understand, talked way to fast, and frankly made me feel stupid any time I tried to ask for help. The way she structures her class is unfair as your grade is 10% homework and 90% exams and the final is 35% of your grade. I had to drop. DON'T TAKE HER.

Dr. Sude makes easy topics very difficult. The way that is clearly the easiest to do the work is with a calculator but she does not teach it that way. I found more success in this class when I stopped going. If you ask her to teach during office hours she will get mad. If you ask her to teach with the calculator she will also get mad. Do not take.

Dr. Sude was by far the worst professor that I have ever experienced. She talks ungodly fast and English is not her first language. One of my favorite comments she said was right before an exam, and she explained how her previous sections had failed the test. Personally, that is not a way I would enjoy starting an exam. I wasn't expecting data analysis to be difficult. I took statistics in highschool so I figured this class wouldn't be too different. Sude is the reason why the class is so difficult. Homework due before every class that she provides no instruction on. Provides very little feedback on any assignments or test reviews. Test reviews do not prepare you properly for the tests which makes up a bulk of the grade. She is very hard to understand and rude and will just stop teaching for minutes at a time.

Sude does't answer any questions you might have and honestly you probably won't even know what questions to ask in the first place because she over complicates everything and you'll never know what's going on. I have never gotten a grade like this in college and I went to every class and did every bonus.

When taking her class I have never been more lost in my entire life. She talks very fast, when questions are asked she doesn't change what she says and just repeats exactly what she said the first time to raise the question. Holy crap,I've only been in her class for two months and everybody is so extremely lost. She is super hard to understand and she overcomplicates everything.The most glaring issue is that the curriculum is completely off from what she teaches. Do not ever take this teacher if you have the choice. Her lectures never make any sense and her questions are always confusing. If by chance you want to succeed in her class, lots of outside studying and research is required to do good.

Sude is honestly the worst professor I have ever had. The course is fast-paced and she insists on teaching the hardest way to solve a problem instead of showing the calculator functions. The only good thing about this class is that you are able to use a cheat sheet. I would suggest dropping the class or taking another professor if possible.

This professor was extremely harsh except when seeing her outside of the classroom setting. I have been to two of her tutoring/ office hours and my first time, I ended up leaving crying and the second time she was yelling. I highly do not recommend her, if anything wait to take the class with a different professor. you have to teach yourself.

Professor Sude is not a good teacher. She does not round AT ALL. Her final is worth 35 percent of the whole class, and that is what failed me. She makes me feel stupid and not confident at all. I will have to take this class again, but I will not be taking it with her.

Yujie is just one of those teachers that you sit there and never understand a word coming our of her mouth. she goes so fast paced and doesnt give proper teaching instructions to students. you have to find every answer the hardest way possible and half the time you never know what shes writing on the board. do not take this professor what so ever.

READ THIS!!! I took sude for BUSI 1033 and it was the toughest class I've taken. The lecture is heavy and participation is mandatory. The first unit was managed. After that, the lectures are tough to follow and nearly impossible to comprehend. If I could go back I would wait an entire semester to take the class if it meant a different professor.

Data Analysis with Sude is by far the worst class I've taken at the University of Arkansas. Lectures are difficult to follow because she talks very fast and has poor handwriting. If you have Sude I would recommend taking it over the summer or winter. This class is attendance and you will understand nothing in Lecture. She does give extra credit assignments usually one a week and they are only 2 points each but add up so do them! U will understand in lecture but just go for attendance and do extra credit and group projects!!

I failed yuijes class last semester, it was very hard because she does not teach the class with a calculator, which is the only tool other than cheat sheet you are given on test. My new teacher on the first day has given examples and clearly explained how to do it on a calculator.

This professor was extremely critical and her lectures were very hard to follow. Do not recommend.

Me and my friend are taking the same class, I got to see his test after I took mine and I can confirm that she will customize her test to be ALOT harder than everyone other class for no reason bedsides her desire to watch kids fail. If you get the opportunity to change teachers i highly highly recommend .

Despite how nice she is I really don't think she should be a professor, her lectures are very fast-paced and hard to understand, her handwriting is difficult to read, she doesn't speak very clearly, it gets old fast. You basically have to teach yourself if you are lost because even if you ask her for help she will give you a bare minimum response.

The teacher doesn't even seem to care about what the students think. She gets into arguments with students because she thinks she's correct about everything in and outside of class. She will forget to post assignments then she wont move the due date and most people will fail an assignment due to this. I had a zoom meeting and she never showed up.

She seems to have a passion for teaching, although she is a terrible teacher. Asking her questions and getting the worst feedback on how to solve a problem. She gives 'so' much extra credit but then you can't even receive full points for it.

This was the worst class I've taken. The instructor's explanations were unclear, disorganized, and hard to understand, making the material nearly impossible to learn. The class was constantly confused, and it felt like we had to teach ourselves with no real support.
