Good teacher, good class, good looking.
Great Prof, always make sure that the class gets the concept. Gave her home phone number to the whole class if they needed help. class is entertaining. Curves her tests to help students. Her curves are nice too!
so hot and likes to talk about sexual things, you will never be bored if you go to her class
She is gorgeous and a good teacher. She really cares about the students and will help you out if you need it. HOT!!!
Very Hot!!! and a great Teacher. Always there to help, and knows tons of stories. Her stories and examples make the class fun
HOT, SMOKIN'. Jolly is AWESOME. The Best class learning-wise, Ive ever had. Even had A MOVIE DAY !!!! PLUS SHES HOT !
very hot, very nice

Awesome teacher!!! Nice to look at too!!!
wow....yvette jolly sure gives my pants the jollys.
Took this class my first year back in 2000/2001 and I learned more about the law in this class than my entire degree program. Great class and she is seriously hot!
Clear, straight forward and of course, hot. She's pretty funny too.
Awesome professor! She's so sweet and helpful. She encourages her students to call her at home with any questions. Always available for help. . If you're in the bus. school, you've heard about how hot she is. She'll make a joke, none of the girls will laugh, but all the guys will.
oh my..the wonders of botox. Jolly is an awesome teacher, she's always trying to get her students excited about the subject. she tends to say some awesome random things (if ur a guy). Go to class, take good notes, and ur bound to do well in her class, its just like that.
very funny and nice. gets to know her students. really pretty and always willing to help outside of class. study the notes from class, and you'll get an A.
Good fun class. Very nice teacher. Helps put different aspects of law in easy and simple terms to understand. Very happy and peppy professor.
Very fun class...Go to class - listen to lectures - Ace the test. All you have to do is write down everything she writes on board...that is on the test. Good Class. A MUST Take! :-)
GO to class take the notes and get A's on the test if you want to but if you don't its up to you.
Jolly is NOT concerned with her students. Yes, she's pretty, but also ditzy. She speaks highly of her husband, gives poor examples, doesn't know the material & gets confused very easily. Just to show what kind of teacher she is..."hierarchy" is not 2 words. Her version: "higher archy" Enough said.
She is a great teacher. She gives great examples and covers a lot. Take notes, read the cases in the book. Seriously, what other teacher gives you her home phone number for extra help. She's awesome. A bit ditsy, but very entertaining. She wants her students to learn, and you want to learn from her.
A lot of fun. The material is bland but she makes it a lot better. She's concerned with your progress and if you volunteer/participate in class it helps you out.
Easy professor, fake ****, blonde, ditzy! What else can I say?
Who cares what she looks like? And she'll openly admit to her poor spelling. Great teacher, amazing person, you're just happy being in her class and you actually learn something, as long as you pay attention. Doesn't deserve all the criticism below
wow wow take this class test are easy and you will like it you learn a lot of stuff you can use in the real world
Professor Jolly's tests only cover her lecture material, so reading the book doesn't help you much besides maybe some more in-depth understanding. Her tests are too short (only 40 multiple choice questions each, and she doesn't proof read them). Yes, they are easy, but they are too short for them to be counting for 30 percent of the grade. Ditzy
Such a good teacher! She drills definitions into you during class so that it takes very little studying later. She makes the class super interesting and she is a genuinely nice and caring person. Take this class for sure.
Very nice lady. Great personality. Wont bore you in class. only real work is 3 tests which are not too difficult. Study for 2-3 hours for test and your fine. Only other work is reading some short cases from the book. Overall a quality teacher who is really there to help!
She is an extremly good teacher and very passionate about the subject. She will do whatever it takes to get the cless intersested in the material which makes her fun. Only bad part is that you need to be at every class or it will be impossible to pass, all tasts are soley on lecture. But if you saw her you would never want to be absent anyway!
Amazing person, she's so passionate about what she teaches that you want to learn more. I seriously loved this class and would recommend her to any Busi major that needs BUS 215!!
This class has a lot of material to memorize. Jolly gives a lot of confusing hypotheticals that show up on her tests. There isn't much homework. Other kids in class are really annoying because they ask a lot of unnecessary questions that are completely off topic.
I thought I was gonna hate this class when i first saw the business law text book; but this class is now one of my favorite classes! Jolly is very passionate about the subject and makes her class so fun and interesting! I <3 Business law!
Do not take this class over interterm no matter what you do. It is incredibly hard. She's kind of nice. Her hypotheticals are confusing. It was incredibly difficult to learn all of the material in less than a month. Take it during the semester if you can.
Prof. Jolly is awesome. Seriously no other Professor at Chapman spends as much time with their students as she does to ensure that they know their stuff for the exams. Take her if you can. You will learn so much.
Prof. Jolly is the best professor at Chapman. She is interesting, helpful and encouraging. Take her if you can!
She's the greatest. Prof. Jolly inspired me to want to go into Law. She's helpful, entertaining and very straight forward. You'll LOVE the class. Take it with her. You won't regret it.
Very easy class and great teacher. I love her!!! The class is very interesting and an easy A. No homework and you have two midterms and the final. Easy test. take the class
I am currently in her intersession class. She is a fantastic professor. Prof. Jolly is helpful, patient, and one of the most impressive Prof.'s I've had at Chapman. Take her class it will honestly be your favorite.
The best professor i've had at Chapman. She makes the class fun and clearly loves law. She gives you the opportunity to get an A if you work for it. Shes extremely nice and super pretty, TAKE BUSLAW WTH JOLLY!!
She's nice and enthusiastic but she rambles on and on with hypotheticals and draws connections between terms without clarity. Difficult to follow her lecture. Powerpoints showing the relationships between terms with clear definitions would help a lot.
Jolly is one of the best professors I've had at Chapman. Her lectures are on point and clear. Jolly even continues to keep in touch with you long after you've taken her course. Must take even if your not a business major. You won't regret it.
The best! Enough said.
Cool.
Best Professor ever!
Just had her class. Professor Jolly's course was extremely enjoyable and challenging. I never thought that I would like taking business law but found this to be my favorite course yet at Chapman.
She is such a great professor! Passionate about teaching and overall a great person to be around. Always on top of her game!!
She really makes the class super interesting! The class is basically all lecture based, so I would not skip class... Otherwise I would totally re take the class again !
When I grow up, I want to be just like her. She's perfect and you will love her. Take her, even if you don't need to take Business Law. Trust me.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN. I thought I loved law, took her class, and realized it was true. Amazing. Take her class - if you regret it, you need to reevaluate your life. Take good notes and study hard - you will get an A and she wants you to!!
I LOVE YVETTE!! Honestly the most amazing professor by far at Chapman! She seriously makes me want to go to Law School! She makes me want to go to her class everyday!! She wants you to get a good grade and doesn't try to trick or confuse you!!
Very specific in the syllabus. Two midterms and a heavy final. Lots of outside classwork. Very generous on grading short answer but heavy on multiple choice. Wants everyone to pass class.
Yvette is a unique prof. to take at Chapman U. She's someone who really cares about your future, is there for you years after class and by far one of the most impressional persons I've know to date. Chapman really scored when hiring this adjust professor.
Absolutely amazing person, easy professor. She really wants you to get a good grade but it's most lecturers with little/no visual aids whatsoever. So if you zone out for 5 minutes then you might miss 3 definitions. She's always available to answer questions though so that kinda makes up for it.
Absolutely the best Professor I have ever had. She helped with all questions I had and goes above and beyond by giving her personal number to the class for before tests. She truly showed that she loves and cares for her students and wants them to excel even past her class. Definitely recommend taking her class. I would take it again if I could!
This class was one of the best classes I've taken at Chapman! Yvette is super passionate and always there to help (gives out her cell number). Her lectures are heavy but super engaging and interesting. Her examples are relatable and definitely help you learn the material. Tests are fair and she's overall like goals and so nice! I highly recommend!
Yvette really makes law relatable and understandable. She takes situations that may be difficult understand and really breaks it down. She is very easy to talk and really cares about your success. As long as you attend class and take detailed notes on all the words she says you will to well.
Great professor. She cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. The class is super easy, it's just memorization. The exams are all based on the lectures, so going to class is a must.
AMAZING professor. 2 exams, a case, and a final. A ton of memorization.
Jolly is an insanely incredible professor. Probably the best I've had at Chapman. Super available, keeps in contact with you after the class and wants to see you become a success.
One of the best teachers i've ever had. Take her if you can !
She is an amazing professor and really knows how to make students understand the subject matter. The subject itself is quite heavy but she tries to make it fun
She is a great Professor, and is incredibly knowledgeable about the subject. The exams are all just memorization; you will know exactly what to expect. She makes the lectures interesting, and she let us out of class early almost every day!
Very easy class to follow and excel in. Jolly makes Law very interesting and she's a great professor. You will get an A if you pay attention.
One of the nicest professors ever. She takes heavy material & explains it clearly in the most exciting way possible. The homework is all gone over in class & she offers office hours. Jolly is really understanding, so If you have a problem, talk to her for help. She doesn't use blackboard & your only grades are the 2 exams (& cumulative) final.
Prof. Jolly is honestly the hard working professor at Chapman. I can speak for my 3 years here having attended...I haven't had another prof that makes the time for her students, bends over backwards to help the student and writes incredible letters of recommendation for graduate school and study abroad. Thank you!
Yvette is phenomenal!! She knows what she's talking about and by the end of her class you will too. She has the best teaching style, she tells you exactly what's going to be on the test all you have to do is go to class, listen, and prepare. She is super entertaining and wants you to understand/learn/do well!
Yvette is my favorite Professor I have had at Chapman. She honestly cares for you, wants you to do well, and is accessible outside class, even if it doesnt relate to the course. The class is very lecture heavy, honestly the tests are a lot of information, but she does a good job explaining the headnotes
Prof. Jolly is my favourite teacher at Chapman. Her lectures are interesting but also extremely informative. If you pay attention in class the tests are pretty easy. Honestly take this class, she is a great professor.
Yvette is the bomb. Take her class. no other prof. at Chapman will be more sincere, caring and willing to help you out in class and other life challenges. Loved her!
Professor Jolly is the nicest professor that I have had. She cares a lot about the success of her students. Gives you all the key terms you will need to know for exams at the beginning of semester. As long as your take notes and study you will do great. One of my favorite classes.
The subject matter is a bit dry, but she makes it as interesting as possible with her personality, and we always get out early. Attendance is not required, but go to class and get the notes. Tests have exactly what is taught in class, lots of memoization. Overall, a good class.
Absolutely great teacher. One of the best I have had at Chapman. Listen to her lectures and take good notes in class and you will be good. She is very caring and understanding and wants you to do well.
By far one of my favorite teachers, highly recommend taking this class.
One of my favorite profs at Chapman! Her lectures are super easy to pay attention to, as she provides many fun examples of the subject matter. Basically no HW besides case briefs once in a while (they take like 15 mins max). Tests are just memorizing lecture content. Very generous in curving the tests and making them fair. Definitely take her!
Jolly is one of the sweetest professors ever. Come to class because exams are lecture based, no powerpoints. The material is a bit tough but Jolly gives funny examples to help you remember things. She also curves exams quite generously. Also, no homework!
Professor Jolly is by far one of the best professors I have experienced at Chapman. Her attitude and energy made law exciting and interesting. She is incredibly generous and fair when it comes to exams and giving ample time for preparation. Know the headnotes and cases and you'll do just fine.
Professor Jolly is the best professor I have ever had. She is very caring and is willing to do anything to help her students. Her lectures are great and help you understand the material, make sure to go to class and do the briefings and you will do well. She is the best professor you could ever have. Make sure to take her class if you can.
Business law is pretty great with Jolly as your professor. She gives pretty solid lectures that give you most of what you need for the exams. She's flexible and wants you to succeed. I thoroughly enjoyed her class. Tests, homework and lectures move around and get a little messy and unorganized, but it's manageable. She's a great professor to take!
Super incredible lectures that stay with you forever! Easy to follow and provides much helpful material.
She is the best teacher you will ever have in your life. She makes the material so interesting, and does a great job conceptualizing complex topics. She is the nicest prof ever, but it's lecture heavy. no online notes so if you miss, have someone fill you in on what happened. 900/10 would take again, I LOVED her
The most amazing teacher I've had here at Chapman during my past three years! Professor Jolly makes each class fun and the material is really interesting. She has a lot of fun stories to tell that relate to the material. She's also the most friendly and kind person, it was truly an amazing course. I just wish she taught more courses than this one!
I absolutely LOVED Professor Jolly! Her class by far was the most interesting class I have ever taken and I actually looked forward to her class. I didn't think I would enjoy her class as much as I did because she talked the entire lecture but she made it so fun. I would definitely take her class again and recommend it to others!
Yvette is one of the best lecturers. Her class is extremely well structured and organized. She truly loves each of her students. There is little to no homework and the tests are exactly what she tells you they will be. Definitely take her class!
Yvette Jolly is one of the most kindest, enthusiastic professors to teach business Law. Yes, the material can be quite confusing and difficult, but she makes a lot of fun examples while answering any questions you have. One of my favorite professors, and I wish I could be in another class with her!
Professor Yvette is the best teacher I have ever had in college! You do have to make sure to do your work but her tests are clear and to the point. All of her lectures prepare you for the tests and she truly cares about all her students. Take her class!
The most enthusiastic professor I have ever had. She posts all her lecture recordings if you miss class (doesn't take attendance) and posts a list of vocab terms in order of how she teaches that you literally just have to fill in to stay on top of the notes. Take her class!!!
I love Yvette! She is the kindest teacher ever. I learned so much from this class and got a good grade doing it. Pay attention to specific cases and definitions and everything will be great. Definitely recommend!
Professor Jolly is such a kind and caring teacher. She tries to learn everyone's name and hopes that all her students continue onto law school. It's a little difficult to learn all the new terms, but she goes through many hypotheticals. Her tests aren't that hard, but her final is worth 50% of your grade, so you have to do well on the test?
Professor Jolly is a very caring professor. You can tell that she is very passionate about law and that she is extremely knowledgeable on the subject. Her class is test heavy. There aren't many assignments, and even then, they are worth very little. I wish I did better on the exams, but she does give you all the resources you need to succeed.
I loved this class and I would highly recommend it to anyone! She is such an amazing person. The only thing that is "homework" is that you have to read some case studies. I HATE reading but the reading is super manageable. If you pay attention, her tests are a breeze, she has no surprises. She makes law so easy and fun! PLEASE TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!
Write down EVERYTHING. I mean everything. Her tests are directly from lectures (word for word sometimes) Including writing down examples, random "extras" like substitution names for things, her tests are with her examples w diff names!! Read the cases and take notes on them (she provides IRACS) OFFER to IRAC/breif cases, she will LOVE YOU FOR IT !
Professor Jolly is the sweetest professor on campus. She really puts students and their well being above the content of her class. Her exams and assignments are incredibly easy and she grades well. Her study guides are specific which is helpful. It is definitely an easy A and she makes the content very interesting.
There is not better professor here at Chapman than Professor Jolly. She truly cares for her students, and always put our mental health and well being over her assignments and exams. Extremely understanding and passionate about the subject. You will not regret taking her class.
AMAZING! So kind and caring for her students! Teaches the material super clearly! If you are interested in law school she will go the extra mile to help you out and get to know you! My favorite class by far at chapman! I actually looked forward to going to this class!
THE MOST CARING PROFESSOR! As long as you put in the work in studying the material and being proactive, you'll be fine! Tests were straightforward and she explains the format in detail.
Professor Jolly is a really great teacher and lecturer. She includes engaging examples and there are only about 2 assignments. The tests are based on the lectures so pay attention in class and know the terms from the vocab list. Easy and fun class.
Amazing teacher! Take her you won't regret it!
THE FINAL IS 50% WT F.
Incredible professor who totally care about her students! Take this class, it is the best class I have taken at Chapman.
Professor Jolly is awesome. Beware you are graded by few things, the two midterms are worth 20% of your grade EACH and the final exam is worth 50%. If you do well on the exams, you will do well in the class. She is very nice, engaging, funny, loves participation and student questions, and is a professor you will remember.
Yvette is actually the sweetest teacher I have ever had. Take her class!! The grades are based on 2 midterms both 20% and a final 50% so they are worth a lot. Study hard for them and you will be fine!! She wants everyone to do well and will make sure you do as long as you want to. I can't say enough good things about her!
Yvette is the kindest professor ever. She is so sweet and willing to help you through anything. The tests are mutltiple chocie and short answer, and if you study decently hard you'll be able to get an A in the class. Although attendence is not mandatory, I highly recommend you go to class, it can be difficult to follow along if you don't go.
yvette is god's gift to chap, she's so funny ong. take her if you can, my fav class I've taken. entirely lecture based w readings about cases. mostly memorization, show up to class, everything she says is testable, slides are not very in-depth. 2 midterms + final, 22 MC + 2 SA, she is v clear abt what kind of questions she'll ask. very achievable A
Professor Jolly is one the best professor I have ever had. She is amazing and makes the content fun. The class is 2 midterms, 1 final, and 2 short assignments. Her class is lecture based and attendance is not mandatory but it is the best way to get the information because the slides don't contain too much. I definitely recommend taking her!
Truly an amazing professor, really cares about her students. Has amazing lectures that are actually interesting. Very clear on how you will be graded and presents the material in a way that makes it easy to stay organized. By far the best option for business law, you will actually learn things.
Best buslaw teacher by far find quizlets and study them and pay attention to her in class examples and ur good. Jolly is goated please take
Jolly was a joy. She is very passionate about law which is spread to the students. She provides lecture notes which were helpful. The only drawback to the class was how much of the grade is determined by exams. In order to be successful one must study often.
Jolly was probably the best professor I've had at Chapman. She cares about her students and is very passionate about law. The tests are worth most of your grade and it's mostly memorization, but it's definitely doable if you go to class. She provides real world examples that make the material a lot easier.
Jolly is amazing! Her lectures are super engaging and she's so sweet and fun. There are only 2 quick assignments that she grades on completion, 2 midterms and 1 final. She's very Clear on how she's grading things, and what is testable. Take her especially if you need to take business law!!
AMAZING! does not assign much homework at all but more importantly keeps lectures and course material interesting. Explains things in a way that is easily digestible and will check to make sure we feel confident. Tests are straightforward. Will make an effort to get to know her students.
Jolly is the sweetest. She really puts the effort in to make lectures entertaining. The grade is based solely on 2 midterms and a final. The midterms weren't too bad but the Final was more difficult because it was cumulative. If you are willing to come to class, listen, and study you will be successful because her tests are based on lecture.
I easily could have gotten an A or B in this class if I attended in person more. This is one of the best teacher's that I'v ever had and she is so funny, sweet, and caring to her students. Her class met twice a week for an 1.5 hours and was just a lecture every class. If you go to class every time & take good notes its very easy to pass with an A.
THE BEST! Must take her for this class. Is beyond clear about what will be on tests and she never tries to trick students- it's such an easy A. Have to go to class bc her hypotheticals are what will help you understand the material. She's so nice and helpful, you even get to do a movie assignment and it's a pretty good movie!
She is an awesome person! However, there is so much content in this class and her PowerPoints are not very good. She explains most concepts in class so if you miss it you will need to get notes from someone. She definitely makes the class interesting but it isn't an easy A like some people are saying
Professor Jolly is such caring and interesting professor. But there was SO MUCH to memorize, over 400 terms. I am not good at memorizing things so I struggled. The final is worth 40% of your grade. I got only 5 MC questions wrong on one of the midterms which gave me a 70% on the test, even though I studied for like 6 hours.
She says that her powerpoints are amazing but they aren't as good as she makes them seem. She does explain everything in class and it is not written in her powerpoints so you have to attend class. There is a lot of material covered and she talks REALLY FAST sometimes so be a fast typer for her class so you get everything. Her grading is fair.
This class is very interesting. There are many terms to learn but they are pretty simple. She is a good teacher that gives clear examples. This class really didn't take up much time as the grade is only based on tests. This leads to the main issue where if you aren't good at tests and mess up due to pressure your grade will be lower.
She is so nice and I actually learn in this class. Most of it is memorization, but if you show up to class and take notes on the slides you will be good. She makes it fun to learn. Attendance is not mandatory but I strongly suggest going. Usually get out early and tells you everything that will be on the test. Only two small homework assignments.
Her tests are very fair. As long as you study and take good notes, you will do well. Besides studying, there isn't a lot you need to do for this class. Definitely would take her again.
Jolly is super nice, she really cares about her students. Your grade is very heavily dependent on tests, 2 midterms and a final (80% of your grade in total). Class is not mandatory but lectures are important for notes to study. The tests are very doable as long as you put in the work and have good notes. She lets class out early alot, overall great
Professor Jolly is super engaging and makes the content interesting, but the class has a heavy focus on memorization. Using unstuckstudy alongside the textbook and lecture notes helped me manage the workload.
Amazing professor. So nice and caring about students. If you have a problem, just talk to her and she will help figure it out and help you as much as she can. She made the topic easier to understand with her explanations. Go to class because you won't get all the info for the tests even with the slides. Book was required, but barely used.
Best Teacher in the school.
Jolly is by far the best professor I have had at Chapman and even in my entire schooling. She genuinely cares for all of her students. She makes me actually want to learn more about law and you can tell she is an expert in this field which is very rare to actually find a professor who can explain everything efficiently and easily.
She is hilarious and very entertaining. However a huge percentage of your grade is based on the 2 midterms and final. She gives a study guide but the class is A LOT OF MEMORIZING. Memorization is how you pass the exams. She is super sweet though and cares very much for her students. She cancels classes occasionally as well.
She always came to class with a very enjoyable mood and would crack jokes here and there, making the class be a lot more interesting and fun. Crim law was my favorite part of the semester, but even when we did more "boring" topics, Jolly did her best to keep us intrigued. Lots of hypotheticals that you must remember for exams, they will help you.
Very great professor and make sure to have a very great writing/typing hand. She clearly wants to be in the class and make us all happy. This class is all about memorization, mostly MCQs on tests, but some SAQ (enough to make or break an A).
Super great professor!! Class is heavily based on exams (90% of grade). Textbook is required but barely used.
Just such an amazing person!
Prof Jolly is a lexicon of legal knowledge, and takes great joy in imparting that knowledge upon you. Everything tested is on what she says during lecture, if you can take good, quick notes, and look back on them before the exams, you will do great. If you cheat on exams she is not your professor, very keen during exams. Would love to take her agai
Absolutely loved her, shes super sweet and funny, but grades are basically all of 2 midterms and a final, and a lot of memorization.
She is amazing. The class itself is a lot of memorizing and based completely on lectures, so going to class is important. But she cares and makes the content understandable. I would take her again for sure she is a great professor with a lot to share. 2 exams, final, a small assignment. But if you try your best you will be good.
