I took this class online and it was great. You get what you put in, the videos help alot and if you ever have a question she is quick to reply. Grades very fair and gives you partial credit on exams as long as you submit your work with in 2 hours which helps out A TON!! Great professor would highly recommend

Professor Beebe is an amazing teacher and uses videos, multimedia examples and power point to help facilitate learning statistics. She really cares about her students and wants to see them succeed and pass. Attendance is mandatory especially is Statistics because everyday is a building block to the next lecture. Attend Laralynn's SI sessions!

Dr. Beebe is excellent at communicating throughout the course. You will need to work, study, and be disciplined. This is not an easy A but it is doable.

Ms. Beebe posts tons of multimedia examples, powerpoint slides, and videos for all chapters covered. The online class grade is composed by 75% tests, 15% final exam, and 10% homework. This class is not an easy A, but if you apply yourself it is obtainable.

This class is not for those who are visual learners and need to be in front of a teacher. She provides TONS of videos and PowerPoints to help you understand the subject, but if you don't have the time for that-don't take it. Homework is due two days apart, but it is available to you with enough time so you can work ahead. Overall, she is a great!

I took Professor Beebe's online stats class because it fit my full time work schedule the best. Her homework was very much doable and the material itself wasn't difficult IF you learn best by "hands-on" experience. By "hands-on" meaning that if you do all her homework and exam practices, there is no way you wouldn't get an A in the class.

I liked that we were able to turn in scratch paper used on tests for partial credit. Really helps!

Tried taking this class twice online. Might be easier for someone that's better in math. Decided to take this class with Professor Beebe on campus and man what a difference. Not too much homework. And if you're smart you'll finish it before leaving class. Don't skip cuz you'll be lost. Beebe is super nice and enjoyable! Explains concepts well.

Professor Beebe's STAT class was quite challenging but very enjoyable! She constantly reminded us of the due dates, and practice exams a lot to prepare for the exams. She also drops lowest scores. You really have to be diligent because it is A LOT of work, but as long as you do your homework and watch the tutorials, you should be fine!

The online class was fairly easy. I took it during summer. You do have to do online homework and watch online tutorial and video lectures BY professor Beebe before doing the homework. I recommend managing time wisely because the beginning sections are very quick to do as the course progresses the homework takes longer. The homework is crucial.

Professor Beebe really cares about her students. You are able to turn in partial credit for your tests, which helps your grade out. She drops 5 of the lowest HW grades and your lowest test grade, however you have to work for your grade. She is available via email and responds timely. I highly recommend her.

I just finished taking this course and I got a B in the class. Professor beebe is Great! She drops 5 lowest assignments and 1 test. There is ALOT of homework and very fast paced, but its summer term so you expect any class to be like that. This class (I took it online) was so time consuming. It had tons of homework and lots of lectures. But, the lectures and homework were all great practice, and it allowed me to better understand the material and pass every exam with A's. She is caring because she gives partial credit on the exams, if you turn in your exam notes.

Professor Beebe made a difficult course easy to understand and when you didn't understand the material, she worked with you until you did. For an online class, it can be hard to follow along as well as you would in a class setting, and with her own tutorial videos along with the book's videos, it wasn't as tough as you would think. Great professor who gives you every opportunity to get extra points on tests for turning in your handwritten work, which really helps! Lots of homework (time spent on homework) and can get intense if you are taking in a shorter semester but if you work full time and have a family this class is still doable.

Amazing Teacher. I took her for M095 and then again for M108. M108 online is no joke, especially during the summer. As long as you put the work in you will pass.

I took this class over the summer online, there was 3-4 sections of hw due every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Test were due every Monday. Her home work had tutorials and videos that really helped clarify anything confusing.

I took one of her math classes online and it was great! There is a lot of homework that is assigned but she includes notes and tutorials in order to help ypu understand the work. As long as you do all the homework quizzes should be easy! There is an online final but it's not worth a lot and it is fairly short. I would take this professor again!

She is a great teacher. I just finished her fall class for Stats and she goes over everything very good. She also gives partial credit to your tests and quizzes. So try your best and youll pass. Also, make sure to do the homework and get used to using excel or statcrunch. I personally used stat crunch because it was easier.

Prof. Beebe was an amazing Professor. I took online statistics and prob. Class with her and she was very good. The course was hard but we had just the right amount of practice to learn new skills in excel and math. She drops five homeworks and one test in addition to giving points for work shown. Stats is a hard class to take especially when it's online, but Prof. Beebe made it understandable. She gives online lectures which makes it easy to take notes. She doesn't give extra credit, but she does not count your lowest test, and 5 of your lowest homework assignments. Homework is due every Tuesday and Thursday.

This class is very easy you just have to do the work. She posts videos every week teaching each chapter and breaking everything down. She even repeats examples to be clear. You cannot start the work until a video is watched and you use a lot of Excel but she shows you step by step how to use it. The final is online so you can use your notes.

Professor Beebe is a excellent Stats teacher. For someone who has taken college algebra 2x and failed, and then took it a 3rd time along with her Statistics class I found it very rewarding to know she truly cares about her students and wants them to pass her class. She even dropped some assignments and exams to make sure all her students passed.

Took this class online. I liked that there was a practice test before the real test because it would give me an idea on what i needed to focus more on. The extra credit offered after each test also helps.

I was also weary of doing tests because I was afraid the formulas I was using through excel would not be accurate. She allowed us to turn in any excel files and a picture of our work.

Professor Beebe made this class so clear that I don't regret a moment of stress. her online tutorials are very clear, so take good notes she also is available if you have questions and gets back to her emails in a timely manner. Has videos for each lesson VERY HELPFUL. Everything done on computer. Do the HW & study them for test. Has practice tests for every test. Could use a notecard for tests. Drops lowest test and 5 lowest HW. I got a B because I did the HW. Do the HW! Also practice test just like the actual test. No midterm but a final. I hate math but this wasnt bad

I am very good at math therefore this class was very easy for me. She answers all emails in less than 24 hours, very helpful if you ask. Drops five lowest homework scores and the lowest test score. She teaches you exactly how to do the problems and gives out a practice test before each test which isn't a part of your grade but very helpful.

Online class. Appreciate that she does real lectures online. That part was very cool. The quizzes and exams were fair. Not very tough IF you watch and study the lectures. For the most part, it was great. Only complaint was that I wish there were some "live" discussions. The emails back and forth often took too long to have a meaningful discussion.

Lecture videos are thorough. Take notes & make a separate sheet for formulas & how to apply them in EXCEL (insert function & Data Analysis). Summer session is fast paced. 5 chapters of HW & a test every week. There is a practice test prior to each test. Be mindful of due dates! Syllabus is clear, no surprises. Great class!

Took Beebe for summer class. You need to study! It was hard because it was a 5 week class, due to taking stats before it was easy for me to remember most of the stuff taught. She drops your worse test score and 6 homework assignments. She replies to emails quickly and also helps you on homework if you ask. She is overall a really good Professor!

I struggle with math and although this class did present many challenges, professor Beebe was there every step of the way. I recently took this class over summer and it was only 5 weeks. Professor Beebe is a great teacher. She does not mind spending time clearly explaining the lesson to anyone in need of extra explanation. She makes all of the lectures available to you if you cannot make it to class for some reason. She is reasonable in her grading and does her best to help you get the best grade possible.

The lowest test score and the five lowest homework assignments are dropped. Every test will have a practice test that is optional but doing them is the key to passing the test. I took an online statistics and it was difficult. The great thing about this teacher is that she gives you a chance. After I am done with quizzes and exams I was able to turn in my rough work in two hours after I completed my work. This really helped since it is easy to make a mistake. She does drop the lowest test grade and HW grades. Lecture vids are thorough and accessible online, so if you're absent or didn't quite grasp the lecture in class you can go back and review her vids. Do the HW, do the practice tests and you should be fine. Come the exam day she allows notes on an index card. Final is only 5% of overall grade.

I took 108 online this semester and I was very hesitant and worried about it being difficult especially because it was online. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was set up in a way where you felt like you were in an actual lecture. Her online lecture videos are very thorough and as long as you take lots of notes, you will do fine on the tests.

I took professor Beebe for math 108 online course. She is great. On the homework she will provide an example just like the homework question and give 3 attempts to submit answer. I choose skip class you won't pass because if you do not listen to all the lectures and take notes the homework and test will be hard for you but as long as you read the lectures and take notes on everything as well as the examples for the lectures then you will be getting an A.

You can tell Professor Beebe takes pride in her line of work. Her course is meticulously planned out and expectations are clear from the beginning. The only issue I had with the class was that the first two sections in her class were a bit difficult to maneuver around in Excel because her "how to" videos are from an outdated Excel version.

This was the first-ever math class I've taken that I've truly enjoyed! Professor Beebe is amazing and was very understanding/flexible during the whole transition to virtual instruction despite this course already being online. I definitely had to work for my A but just be sure to do the homework, watch the tutorials, and study her practice tests!

I took Professor Beebes online Math 108 course, shes extremely understanding and adjusted accordingly while making sure everything was going smoothly for her students. She records her lecture videos and its really easy to follow along at your own pace plus she drops lowest scores at well! I would take her again given the chance shes wonderful!!

I loved this class, I didnt like stats at first because I couldnt pass my previous stats class and I passed this with B it is super easy I just didnt take advantages of the credits at first but when I started taking advantage my grade went up and the final exam was super easy. It was challenging with tutoring online and Pearson having some technical difficulties. She was positively accommodating throughout the semester with every student.

She has self made power points, self made lectures, and she does numerous practice problems along with you that is identical to homework and the test.

Professor Beebe is the most amazing teacher I have ever had. I took her short term course online and it was easy. Biggest advice I can give is to write out detailed notes along with putting time aside to do and understand the homework.

This is one of the best math teachers I ever had. Learning statistics was not easy at all but her lectures and practices were so well detailed it made you actually learn the material and prepared you for the test. The way she teaches is amazing even online she makes her own video lectures I literally have nothing but good things to say about her.

She is one of the best math professors. I took this class online for fall 2020. I would have received a better grade if I was more involved. I had a lot going on during this time. However, all her lecture videos are super useful and easy to follow along. If I had failed her class, I would definitely pick her again.

The best thing to do in this class is to do your best at the beginning and not the other way around. The professor provides lots of reminders and one lecture per assignment. There is always adequate time for everything so the grade you get is the grade you earn.

Professor Beebe made Math 108 very understandable with her videos. Anything you didn't get, the video explained it all step by step. Me not being the ultimate Math wiz, I finished the class with clarity of it all. Thank you Professor.

I am not a fan of math but she made it less painful for me. Watch the lectures, do the homework, practice the practice tests, and make sure you ask questions when you don't understand. So long as you put in an effort to understand the concepts, you will get an A. She drops some low scores so that you have a safety net.

There's a weekly discussion board and online homework (though if you mess up on a homework problem, the website gives you a similar problem so you can get full credit). Exams are similar to homework. Easy class to pass if you watch the lectures and take good notes. Lectures are on video but are easy to follow and not that long. By taking good notes and doing the practice exams, the real exams and the final will be a breeze. It may seem like a lot of hw but it is manageable.

The best thing about this class are the lectures. Professor Beebe does go over every possible problem. Your homework is what helps you figure out what youre doing wrong. If you got a certain problem wrong you can redo it before its due. Practice tests are available before the actual test. Professor leaves her videos for you to access anytime you.

This class was relatively easy, some excel knowledge is helpful to make the class go smoothly by entering formulas. her lecture videos are clear and to the point about what you need to know. notes are not provided so you can take screenshots during lectures for notes as i did and kept them on a word doc or you can write your own notes.

Professor Beebe's class was pretty much clear. Everything is done within the Pearson account accept for the discussions, those were do every sunday. The only way you won't be able to pass is not doing the hw assignments and discussions. Which is literally all the class has. There are some tests but she gives practice tests that help a lot.

I really enjoyed taking Professor's Beebe online statistic class. Statistics can be challenging, especially if taken online. But the professor's lecture videos made the material very easy to understand. In the homework she also opened several aid choices that helped you solve the homework and during exams she provided summary sheets.

This professor is so nice and caring. I took her MATH108/608 class and there was a decent amount of work due. Each week a lecture recording was attached on MyMathLab and there were a few assignments due including an easy class discussion. Overall I totally recommend this professor she cares about her students and their education.

11/10. I am not an A student and have a hard time keeping up with my hw and class work. The lectures have useful details and samples from the hw. Professor Beebe, was a great help and she replied fast. Realistically speaking anyone that gets an F on her class are not putting any work.

I'm not sure how people could even imagine Professor Beebee being unfair. She literally gives thorough instructions, and reminders, for each section of each chapter. I would like to warn everyone to spend as much time practicing chapters 7 and 8 as much as possible, and be prepared to spend approximately 10-13 hrs on 108 a week.

I believe she is fair when it comes to grading. Her lectures were long and detailed. She was accessible and willing to help, and she took her time. The class was challenging but she did make it clear to study ahead. She's a great teacher and I'm happy I had her to push me to greater limits.

The lectures are all online, but are very easy to understand. As someone who struggled with math, as long as you do the work and study well for tests you should do just fine! Very easy course to take over the summer

I was soo nervous to take this class, as I had no prior experience to stats. It honestly pretty easy to get an A, although it is tedious, but your hard work pays off. The online course was structured so easy to use.

My first time taking a Stats class EVER, and Professor Beebe maybe learning statistics so easy. There is a lot homework, but don't let that sway you, the homework was extremely helpful for practice, and reflected the quizzes really well. Professor Beebe provides practice tests, which were great practice for the exam.

Professor Beebe is great - her lectures are clear and she's always willing to help. The class is challenging but manageable with effort. Unstuckstudy AI was a lifesaver for practice problems and reinforcing the concepts.

Professor Beebe was a great professor; I took a hybrid class, and all lectures were online, but she offered a lab for help. The lectures were clear and simple to understand, but definitely take notes, since there are tests for every chapter or so. She also offers some extra credit, and is quite understanding when it comes to issues/ problems.

I LOVE PROFESSOR BEEBE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took a 12 week class with her and, even though the class was fast paced, she made statistics relatively easy to understand. If you don't know who to take stats with, take professor Beebe

Loved her!! I was scared of taking fast track stats & micro together, but her lectures were easy to follow. I do suggest slowing down her lecture videos in settings. As with anything new, do not get discouraged if you do not understand it the first time. She is very responsive & cares to see you get a good grade. Use the resources Pearson offers.

Study Tip: I recorded myself explaining solutions to reinforce understanding & rewatched them before tests.

Grading criteria is straightforward. You watch her lecture videos, do the homework, do well in tests, you will get a good grade. She explained the material very well (slowly and patiently), and very easy to follow. There may be a lot of homework, but I think it's reasonable. She gives extra credit if you show her your worksheets on a test.

I had dropped this class three times before taking it with Professor Beebe, but her teaching style changed everything. Her class is so well-organized, and her lecture videos are absolute holy grails. She explains complex concepts clearly, making everything click.I can't recommend her enough !!

Professor Beebe is very helpful. Her lectures were easy to follow, as long as you review them and study you are sure to succeed in class. She was clear in her instructions, looking back she tells you what is on the test and the wording of them so we just had to listen. When I needed help on homework she sent me screenshots of what needed to be done

Professor Beebe makes her lectures easy to understand and to follow along with. She provides opportunities for extra partial credit on tests which is extremely helpful. Statistics can be confusing and a lot of work, but her style of teaching makes it less stressful. I 100% recommend her.

TAKE HER! Her lectures are so thorough and easy to follow. I was so nervous because I suck at math but she explains everything so well. The examples in her lectures are literally the exact same as in the homework and the test. She breaks everything down step by step its literally impossible to get lost. I can't recommend her enough! If you're afraid of taking a math class because it's not your strongest subject TAKE THIS CLASS. Professor Beebe wants you to succeed and makes her lectures easy to follow and pretty much exactly like the homework. The exams are very similar to the homework and she will drop your lowest grade. I learned a lot and I would recommend her to everyone!

Professor Beebe was okay. Her lectures were easy but at times would dump huge sums of work in a singular week. The tests were pretty straightforward and Individuals received extra credit for turning in there scrap work. Though I would prefer if Professor Beene switched completely online than have her class be “in person” and just be online work.

I had Professor Beebe for MATH-108, and she's a great professor who's always on top of announcements, assignments, and exams. She wants to help her students succeed as much as possible with providing opportunities, and communication is key. Her lecture videos are very helpful with examples from the homework itself, and she's helpful with questions.

Choose Professor Beebe! Her lectures are so helpful and she gave opportunities to earn a higher grade on tests. I was scared to take stats, but her teaching style quickly eliminated any fear I had. Thank you Professor Beebe, you really want to see your students succeed and it shows. :)

I have taken Statistics Math the last 6 times at two different schools. This was my 7th. I don't get why she has some bad ratings but the hardest part was using Excel. Take the Summer class 4 tests, 4 discussions worth only 1 point and the tests are on a Sunday 2 chapters. She breaks things down and helps understand. Best math teacher I ever had ❤️

I didn't mention previously that she drops 5 lowest homework scores or grades and one low test score. If I can pass and do the assignments so can you. Don't hesitate taking her in the summer. I will say this there's some problems I didn't understand but as long as you get 70% or higher on homework and 80% or higher on two or 3 tests you passed.

Hands down one of the best teachers I've had thus far. She was super clear and thorough when explaining tough concepts, which made the coursework way less stressful (that says a lot for an online math class). She genuinely cares about her students' success and truly wants them to do well. I highly recommend if you get the chance to take her class!

Prof Beebe is one of the best teachers I've ever had! Her videos for every section of the class are invaluable, and I found that I learn better when I am able to re-watch, pause and take notes with those recorded lectures. The tests are also exactly like the homework we had so as long as you study you'll be prepared for the tests. Highly recommend!

Professor Beebe is incredibly supportive and takes the time to thoroughly explain assignments in a way that's easy to understand. If you put in genuine effort and stay engaged, you'll do well in her class. Her teaching style makes learning feel approachable and less stressful.

Amazing Class. This class has homework assignments due 3 days a week and they only take about an hour and a half each day it's due around 2 15 question assignments due each due date with lectures included. Easy class to learn with her comprehensive lectures and detailed tutorials.

Professor Beebe is amazing! Took intro to Stats over the summer, not an easy class but her way of teaching makes it double. She is caring and lectures are easy to follow. Fast-paced classes have lots of homework, don't fall behind and do your work and you'll make it.

Professor Beebe is an excellent math professor. I took Intro to Statistics, the 5-week summer course, and came out with an A. You can submit your scratch work after a test for extra credit. Be sure to turn in the homework on time.

I took her statistics summer class and received an A. As long as you do your homework, watch the lectures and do well on your tests it's a relatively straightforward class with clear grading criteria. Be prepared to use Pearson which is where 95% of your work will be. Great class tho and great teacher.

Professor Beebe is a solid professor. She does a good job at explaining the material. As somone who d had not taken math in over 10yrs, I was scared to take statistics. However, her teaching style was clear enough for me to understand and actually excited to know I was capable learning statistics. Would recommend!

She's such a great professor, at least for those who can easily handle independent work. She didn't teach in class but rather used Pearson to let us access pre-recorded videos she had ready for us to view. Each was detailed in teaching you the material, there was 17 Lecture videos, some 40+ mins long. 22 HW sections + 1 Practice HW section.

I like Professor Beebe's use of technology for her teaching method. She doesn't put too much pressure to her students but at the same time you still need to work for your grade. Her communication with students is always open and she gives good feedback to your work. Given a chance I would choose her to be my professor again.

The class can be a little tricky, but Professor Beebe has awesome video lectures that are always available to you. The videos are easier to understand than reading the textbook. The examples used in her videos are very similar to the homework.

If you don't pass you didn't try. Professor takes the extra mile to make sure you understand the material and has an open line of communication. She emails back quickly and with the help of understanding the material better, if you are struggling. I truly enjoyed her class. Just listen and take good notes. She really did make stats easy to learn.

Prof Beebe is awesome!! I was very nervous for this class (Intro to Statistics) but her lectures are great very thorough. Professor is very accessible.

Professor Beebe was absolutely amazing. Very fast and clear replies. The lectures were so detailed and informative with clear explanations. I definitely recommend this class and professor.
