She is tricky on tests, about half the kids do good and half not so good. Shes and average teacher
She is very good at explain how things work and how to figure things out, but sometimes when you ask her questions she kind of makes you feel dumb. But over all she is a very good professor.
Taught the class like kindergarten, in the sense that it was slow and we didn't learn much. Class was easy, but she was nothing special. Recommended though.

Course was difficult, but learned a lot. I realized the payoff a few quarters later(I am an Econ major).
The class seemed incredibly easy while she was teaching it, but the tests were very difficult with some trick questions. She gears classes toward freshmen--talks down to students like we're dumb. But she's very nice and helpful.
Good prof, I liked her. Tests are kinda hard and she tries to trick you to really make sure you understand whats going on. She's fair and tries her best to make sure you know the material.
She has the WORST attitude of any professor I have ever had, and she is **** towards the women in her class. Her explanations were excessive. I went to her office once to ask for assistance and she just sat there looking stupid wondering why I would ever ask for help.
She is a great instructor if you excel at ECON, but not very good at teaching the subject in different ways so that other students understand. She expects a lot of her ECON students, and is very intimidating. Her exams are difficult and grades tough on exams and quizzes.
She isn't bad, but not great either. Her lectures are not entirely what is on her tests, and they can be pretty tough. Gives out extra credit and a make up final, which can be a saving grace.
May come off as strict, but she really is a good teacher. Her tests were pretty straightforward. She gives you study sets. As long as you do the study sets, you should be ok for the tests. She also gives out random bonus points which is really nice.
good kid- clarity helped alot- straightforwardness on tests was saving grace...
In general a pretty good teacher. The material is challenging as she says if you don't think in the economics way. She is VERY precise. Do the study sets well, and completely, come to the lectures, theres no way you can't get and easy 'B'.
Good teacher, gives good notes on the board so you really don't need to read the book, but her tests and quizs are really freaking hard and although you know the materal, the test screw you over a lot. However, she does curve and give lots of extra creadit, but that really does not help much.
Tests are hard, follow study sets closely (they will save you) Lectures are good and informative but very fast paced. Slow her down and ask questions if you don't understand.
Still dont understand Micro
If you already know everything about econ I'm sure it would be easy, but if you're expecting to learn, good luck!
She is the devil. If you go to her office for help she will just yell at you and tell you how stupid you are.
Great teacher and course. If you are logical and good at math, you will have no problem with this course.

Best instructor to take this course with. Y. Durham is very clear & straightforward. Great use of examples and explanations. Teaches what you need to know, makes it much easier than reading the book. Excellent study guides, if do homework, will do well in this class. You won't get an easy A or B if you decide not to study. I enjoyed the class 100%
I thought Durham was a great teacher. Very fair grading, good lectures, and straightforward tests. It wasn't an easy class but I think she did a good job of explaining the concepts and equations so that the tests were not a huge surprise. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher.
very challenging tests, but plenty of practice and review before hand. She hooked me on economics. great lectures and visual/alternative learning aids.
I dreaded taking micro, but had to for a prereq. I was surprised how interesting she made it. Explained most things clearly, and if you didn't understand something she was more than willing to talk after class. I never heard her yell at anyone or call them stupid. Just don't blame bad grades on her if it's your fault for not studying.
I really liked her, but she smelled like butter!!!
She is very nice and explains very well, but her tests are very difficult to read, she tends to trick you into the wrong answer. There were other times when she made fun of students for asking "dumb" questions. However, she gives extra credit if you show up and join in.
Great teacher. Just study and dont be afraid to get help from her. She is super helpful and does a great job at making the subject clear.I really didnt want to take Econ 206, but i ended up doing better than i thought and actually liked the class. She gives extra credit too.
Definitely don't try to b.s. your way through this class. Take the time to study the study sets and you'll manage. She can be hard to approach as she can make you feel stupid when you ask a question. But still, I've learned a lot and her notes are very organized and easy enough to relate to.
She is basiclly an ok teacher other than the fact that you can know the material and still fail quizzes. I ended up with a B but only because of extra credit. Stay away.
Very hard class, she doesn’t joke around on her tests, know the stuff like the back of your hand. But as a prof I really liked her, she was always very helpful of any questions I had.
I love Prof. Durham's teaching style. The book for Econ 206 is a quick read and really easy to understand. She hands out study sets (that aren't graded) to help you study for quizzes and exams. She also gives time at the beginning of each class to go over questions from those study sets. I hope I have another course from her.
She is really nice and really does a great job teaching the material so you understand it. But, she tries to trick you when you have a quiz or test. It's so hard to score over a C and I studied hella. She gives a bunch of bonus points and quizzes though, so go to class.
Most difficult class I have taken, mostly because of the material, speed of the course, and the way she made everything so hard.If you don't understand calculus don't even try.She gives examples, but on the tests the Q's are 10x as difficult. She makes you not want to ask questions, always says you should know this from 206. time devotion high
She was good at lecturing. Sometimes they got slow but I think this was a result of 8AM class. She wasn't good at coming up with alternate explanations. She was very helpful in officer hours. The quizzes are pretty hard, same with tests. She grades on a lowered scale. (ie. 77% B) She droppes lowest test and quiz score. Gives bonus points too.
You can know her study guides and still fail. She sets extremely high expectations and also makes you feel like an idiot whenever you ask questions or go into her office hours.
She's a good teacher, her tests just throw you for a curve ball. She does give out extra credit and drop your lowest exam score so my D turned into a B in the end.
Good teacher, hard class. She is very flexible in helping you outside of class if your struggling. Class ave on first exam was 60% and no curve was made. Tests have curve balls. If your not an econ major or a math wizz I wouldn't take her, but good challenge for majors.
If you want to pass this class and learn WITHOUT getting a stress ulcer, stay away from this instructor. She makes straightforward material impossible. She does not teach, but puts material out there and expects you to know what she's looking for. Her tests are a joke; you can understand the material perfectly but have no idea what she's asking.
Her tests and quizzes are TOUGH. Doing the practice problems helps. Lots of kinda difficult math involved, know your calculus and algebra very well. Not very helpful at coming up with alternative explanations and would try to guess what you are asking before you finish asking... she was usually wrong. Can come off as rather cold.
She is the best Econ teacher I've had @ Western so far (taken 3 others). She is hard but you will learn a LOT! Her explanations are very good. I wish she had taught my other econ courses. Highly recommend her if you actually want to learn. The in class extra credit and activities are really helpful and fun.
She was tough but I learned alot. Her grading was fair and she made a class that could've been pretty dry entertaining. Overall, I benefited from this class and I would recommend it to others. However, it is important to keep up with the material and go to class.
Durham's teaching is good but she is not kind, rather cold and condescending. There are 4 quizzes (1 you can drop),1 midterm and a comprehensive final.Expect low averages on all.Doesn't curve until after the final grade but don't rely on it.Ambiguous/unfair grading.Cant compare grades with others!Pick favorites among the class. Take this elsewhere.
She seems nice the first day, the class will seem very structured and hard to actually fail if you do everything.I did most everything, I'll probably fail. She is cold, talks to you like you should know everything all ready and when you don't she acts like you are stupid. I do not recomend her to anyone.
One of the worst teacher I have ever taken. She is one of those teachers that definitely doesn't have anything better to do with her time. Don't take her.
Great teacher but exremely harsh grader. I learned so much, more than I could from another prof I'm sure, and I worked SO hard (attending class, text w/note taking, office hrs, practice probs, xtra study sessions, etc)yet still almost failed. So, NOT AN EASY CLASS. All in all, I would aviod her and save yourself the stress and time and your GPA.
I thought she was sort of rude at first, but in the end Durham was pretty cool. Her lectures were a little dull, but that was probably due to the material. She offers good study guides, plenty of bonus points and is readily available/helpful. Her quizzes and tests are rather difficult, but you'll learn plenty.
Avoid taking her!She makes you feel stupid when you go to her for help.Tests and quiz questions are extremely tricky!Attending class is vital if you even want a prayer in passing.I was stressed everyday, had private tutoring, did honestly EVERYTHING that I could and ended not passing. It was a major upset.I regret not taking another prof for econ.
Durham is awesome. I get it... she´s tough and expects a lot from her students, but if you want to understand intermediate micro you should definitely take her. Tests and quizzes are rough, class averages were usually 60 or below. She is amazing at explaining economics. Dont take her if you just want the A.
THE worst professor I have ever had. She does not explain what she wants and expects you to fill in and figure out everything she does not say but expects, which is a lot. Most of the class now is failing. Gives no application when teaching but asks only applications on quiz and test. Expects you to be a genius and very condescending.
Very hard for a lower level class. Durham is very smart and you can learn a lot from her. Her classes are where GPAs go die though.
This class is INSANE. Do not recommend the professor...quizzes you on things before she teaches it to you! Expects you to memorize the book and know things that she (and the book) don't tell you. Highest grade on the midterm was a 78, but only curved it out of 88 because 78 was "too low." Serious time commitment. Take it with someone else.
Yes, Econ 306 is hard, yes she's a hard teacher, but if you apply yourself you will learn the material, and it's not like the class is any easier with the other profs
yea she's tough, and her exams are tough, but she GIVES you everyting you need to do well. just do the practice problems and use the quizes to help you study. for exams you have to know what to do and when to do it otherwise you wont finish in time. need to devote time to this class, but you can get an A.
Her lectures are good and you will learn a lot. This class prepares you very well for upper level Econ classes using lots of microeconomics. BUT, her tests and quizzes are VERY HARD. The averages are very low, even after a curve. There's a good chance that despite learning a lot, your GPA will still take a major hit. So she's a mixed bag...
This class was not that bad. Durham does a great job preparing you for tests and quizzes and gives extra credit. If people actually took responsibility for their grades they'd do fine. This class is the hardest in the ECON department and you're just going to have to live with it. Durham is the only one who teaches it. Work hard or change majors.
This class was very discouraging, test questions were often much more complicated than practice problems, making them difficult to prepare for and contained misleading options on the multiple choice. You will learn to a degree, because you must invest a lot of time to stay above failing, but was discouraging to see countless hours amount to little.
Avoid taking this class if at all possible. I spent hours every single week in the tutoring center going over every inch of material and practice questions, but it did nothing. I tried so hard in this class, but she expects way too much. Killed my GPA
Class was extremely hard. She obviously doesn't care if students do well or bad in class. Material covered in class doesn't match the questions tested on exams. Quizzes and exams are near impossible to pass. Avoid this professor.
She's a great teacher. Her expectations are clear and she gives plenty of opportunities for success. Quizzes help you see how you're doing before exams. If you study you'll do fine. If you make a mistake you can make up for it in bonus points. I feel like I actually learned from her
Difficult class, good professor. This was a hard class but if you spend time studying/reviewing quizzes youll be fine. Plus go to class & on time so you can be present for bonus points.
This class isnt as hard as everyone says it is. As long as you do the homework and the reading she asks you to do. She doesnt tolerate stupid people which is probably her best quality as a teacher.
presentantion of material is super strait foward and clear. but if you don't understand a concept by the time you leave class the amount of study time will be insane. the quizes are a "learning experience" meaning out of my study group that spent 15 hours studying the week prior, the average score was 65%. if at all possible avoid this class
She has high standards, but is willing to help you with problems and is pretty clear about what she expects. Sure, the class is hard, but if you put in time it will hopefully work out for you. This is one of the hardest classes in the department. Just show up every day. The entire class is curved, so at the end a C ends up being an A...
Dr.Durham absolutely holds high standards for her students. The class is difficult. If you don't show up and put the time in outside of lecture, you won't pass. However, she's a really lovely person and is more than willing to help if you ask. While I wouldn't recommend taking this class as a GUR, if you've got to take it, she's a good choice.
yes,"she has high standards" but so do i, and i don't appreciate working my ass off for Cs. she seeks out ways to mark you down, and takes off a crazy amount of points for a tiny mistake. if you don't know the material PERFECTLY u ARE one of her "stupid" students. when you ask for help shell recommend"finding a tutor" instead of helping u herself.
Difficult subject but she manages to teach it in a very effective way. Do practice problems and don't hesitate to visit her office - she is very helpful an fair. She gives you all you need to succeed, just be prepared to work. She is one of my favorite teachers at Western :)
By far the worst professor I have ever had. You can understand everything, but still fail all her tests and quizzes. Meet with her and she is no more help. People taking other econ 206 courses and are acing them look at her quizzes and laugh. they are impossible.
Yvonne was an absolute pleasure to have as a prof! She loves her topics, isn't afraid to say "I don't know." when she really doesn't, and has great, fun in-class experiments/demonstrations.
She teaches to both visual and auditory learners. Though there is math involved it's fairly simple. Her teaching is super clear and defined. You can pretty much guess what's going to be on the exam. Exams are fine, just do the study sets.
She's fine
She knows what she's talking about. She enjoys economics. She uses reasonable teaching tactics and she uses examples that are easy to grasp (econ wise). She's really great. I enjoyed her as a teacher! Take her class, she's a good teacher.
Hardest econ class, but that comes from the material. She's a fantastic teacher and very helpful. Do the practice problems and visit office hours if you need to. If you do, you'll pass (plus there's a generous curve). Hard class but she's fair.. just don't expect an A.
Super helpful, always there for her students if needed. Just be prepared for a difficult quarter. Thankfully, she's fair and curves the grades. Can't imagine taking this class from anyone else.
Here is a professor who know what she is talking about. She is professional and very knowledgeble. She seems a bit condiscending, but be sure to put in the effort and she is understanding. Come to class, take good notes, do the study set, read the book, and study well.
She's a great Prof! I would recommend her class for people looking for a challenge. Her clarity in classes is awesome. Material is kind of difficult, make sure you are ready to think logically.
Great Prof. If you actually want to learn micro then you have to take her class. Best lectures I have been given at WWU so far. tests and quizzes are hard but she curves a lot. Note: study guide book she puts on reserve super helpful (hint)
EXTREMELY hard prof. Her test will have problems she has never talked about, yet you "should know it". Goes very fast in class and gets annoyed when people don't do something her way. Stay away
Durham is very professional in class, almost a fault. She does not seem to have a realistic grasp on student understanding, and has expectations that far exceed undergraduate-level course work. She can come off as condescending, but I doubt it's intentional. Avoid her class, it'll save your GPA.
Loved this class. She may come off as mean, but it's because she's trying to do her best to help you. Very math heavy, you'll want to brush up calc skills before taking this class. Tests are hard, but it's a test. take this if you want to learn something not just get an A
This class if tough, but Durham is a good teacher. Her quizzes and tests are incredibly hard. This class might be the hardest class in Econ major progression. Luckily the grading scale is low, but you will studying hard, and you will learn the material.
Dr. Durham is awesome - one of my favorite Econ professors at WWU! Yes, the course is tough and her quizzes/exams really challenge your understanding of the topics, but you will learn so much! Her grading scale is very generous, so if you put in the time/effort there is no reason why you can't earn a good grade.
Dr. Durham is an incredible teacher. Because this course if so difficult, you really must learn and retain the information. This will help you out momentously afterwards in every Econ class you take involving microeconomics. You will also develop excellent study ethic. Dr. Durham is tough as nails, but you will be thankful for working so hard.
I love Dr. Durham! She is a fantastic professor, super organized and very good at explaining things. Her tests are HARD, so make sure you study hard. But she grades extremely fairly and tries to give you points wherever possible. She also is super helpful outside of class.
The prof is really great at explaining the material. The quizzes and tests are just impossible. Read the whole chapter, did all the study guides she posted; does nothing to help on my quizzes. Her tests are very tricky and too hard for an intro econ class.
Dr. Durham was helpful and used good, relevant examples. Her study guides were informative, but often unrelated to test material. Exams had questions about concepts we never covered in class, and were difficult if not impossible to find in the textbook. You will need to take good notes, read the textbook, study and even seek out online supplements.
She gives you study guides which potentially could be helpful, but they will never match the tests in terms of material covered. Only will give multiple choice tests with obvious tricks (that she admits to). She gets frustrated if asked for alternate explanations to material, and find ways to make fun of you when you ask questions in class.
I read the entire chapters and do the study guides down to the smallest detail but I have not passed one quiz. They have obvious tricks and are all multiple choice which I do poorly with. Her tests are half multiple choice and half essays diagrams. I do better tests and have received a lot of extra credit by going to class.
Attend class (she gives bonus points) and pay attention and you should do fine. She presents many concepts with graphs and she uses straightforward, logical examples. Quizzes can have tricky questions but are there to make sure you understand the concept. Tests are often curved. 87 or higher for an A. Great professor and interesting material!
Dr. Durham is a wonderful professor and is very clear during her lectures and gives great examples. Gives study guides but doesn't provide answers and if you ask her for help with them she isn't very clear. Study guides don't match material that will be covered on tests. Get additional help if you take her class.
I took this class over summer quarter, and was hesitant about it. Dr. Durham is an amazing professor! She does sometimes condescend you for asking questions, but always makes sure you understand what is happening. Her office hours are great too, it was very nice to get extra help from her for clarification on the bigger ideas about economics.
I think that for most people she is a great teacher. But her teaching style was hard for me to follow and she only grades tests and quizzes, no homework. If you don't do well on the tests and quizzes you will struggle. She is really nice and understanding though.
Did not enjoy her class. Durham was not helpful and made me feel guilty for asking for help at office hours. She lectures by speaking only (no powerpoint) which is incredibly ineffective and can be very condescending.
Durham is a genius, she can be intimidating at times but she knows what she is talking about. The class has tough material but she does a good job explaining it. Tests are very tough so study a lot, but the grading scale is very forgiving.
Although the class is hard, her goal is for you to learn the material and gain a complete understanding. Also a 78% is an A in her class. She marks you down for tiny things but that is just so you know it is wrong. Then she gives your grade a boost so it doesn't screw your GPA. She has an economist's sense of humor which I like.
She explains everything very well, sometimes it gets too repetitive as she's very keen on every student to understand the material which is a good thing. Quizzes and tests aren't too hard as long as you read the book and go to class. She gives you every opportunity to be successful in her class by giving tons of extra credit tasks too.
Professor Durham lectures without powerpoint and talks for the whole class period which makes it difficult to pay attention. One 5 minute break is given just to go back to a long lecture. Durham provides study guides which are helpful until you take the test. The study guides do not match the tests and the test are super difficult.
Professor Durham was a great professor however the class is difficult. It is highly beneficial to the practice problems even though they are not graded. The lectures are long, but her understanding of the material and explanations are great. If you do not get a concept in class, it will be in your best interest to bring it up during office hours.
Durham is a great professor! The class is difficult so be ready to put in time and effort. The lectures are long but it helps if you go to class and read the textbook. DO THE STUDY SETS. Make sure you understand all of the problems because she will use similar problems on tests. If you need help go to office hours and she will help you out.
Tough class. Brutal tests. If you like pain, take this class with Prof. Durham. However, if you put in the time, study diligently, ask many questions, do the practice problems, then do them again, you can pass. And then just about every other Econ class will be a cake walk, but you'll still have nightmares about this class.
She is a great profesor and super itellegent and interesting to listen to. MUST go to class, ask questions and go to office hours. Homework is optional but definitely do it. Hard class! But not bad!
The check-up quizzes are there to be studied for the midterm and final. That was the best advice I got, and if you study those you will never be surprised by anything on the final. There are other theory questions as well, but the quizzes were the main focus of my studying
Smart, but skips steps when explaining things...
Before I took this class, the comments here almost scared me away. I decided to tough it out. It turned out to be an excellent experience. The material is very difficult. The lectures are clear, and Dr. Durham gives many opportunities for extra help. It is important to do all of the problems in the book and her practice sheet to do well.
Durham is a good teacher, I think the class just happened to be the hardest class. She grades very hard and makes the tests extremely hard in order to challenge you. Definately read the book, take good notes, and for this class, get tutoring if you are having a hard time. Had to drop it my first time through
Durham's class is definitely challenging, but she is a great teacher who genuinely cares about her students learning. It is extremely important to keep up with the reading and practice on your own. Durham is very willing to work with you if you need extra help. Would definitely recommend her to other students, you will learn a ton if you work hard!
Dr. Duham is obviously brilliant and she is a great lecturer, with great diagrams, really clear expectations, and even good handouts and handwriting! Her class is really difficult and most people struggled. I have heard the other Econ professors are easier, but if you work hard (or are naturally good at Econ) you should get by.
Best econ professor I have had at Western! Yvonne's class is definitely not an easy A. Can be a little dry, but if you are genuinely interested in economics, it is so worth it to take her class. If you work hard, you will learn so much from her. I would definitely recommend her over another teacher.
Great professor. The material is difficult, so she expects you to study on your own. But, she is super available outside of class and is willing to help you through your questions. That being said, make sure to bring specific questions to her office hours. If you need to take this class, take it with her. You will not regret it.
She's really interested in making it clear that she understands the material. It's a little like a student giving a presentation. She gives handwritten handouts, and doesn't have power points, so even though she says attendance is optional it's not. The most condescending teacher I've ever had.
Dr. Durham, is an amazing person one on one, but in a class setting she is very condescending and does not care about your grades. This is one of the hardest classes I have ever taken.
I'm not the type of person to go after professors but in this case it is 100% deserved. I understand that 306 is a tough class but her pacing leaves most of her students drowning with no outside resources for help. Crams lectures and as a result her classes bomb almost every test. She's extremely rude and makes people not want to ask questions.
Welp... She does tell you which sections are going to be covered in quizzes and exams and has practice problem sets posted on canvas but I honestly found the exams and quizzes to be extremely difficult compared to the book problems. Median of the quizzes were 12 out of 20 and she gives you 4 quizzes (dropping the lowest). Oh and she is tough grader
Dr. Durham isn't as bad as people says she is. She is clear on what you have to know and goes over problems in class logically, graphically and mathematically. Sure the class was hard, but I really am glad to have taken the class with her. You will probably realize that she is an amazing lecturer sooner or later.
Don't believe the hype. I delayed this class as long as possible since I had always heard that Prof Durham was the worst teacher ever, which couldn't have been more incorrect. Anything above a 78% was an A, she drops your lowest quiz score, and has two different grading scales and uses the one that gives you the highest grade. Has good lectures too
Do not take online classes with her. This Econ 306 class was listed as synchronous, but instead she ran it asynchronous. There was also no homework, and the quizzes were much easier than the tests. I learned very little and felt completely underprepared for the tests. She is also very nitpicky about your explanations on tests.
Coming mid-quarter to see whether the high score in the class for the midterm being 63 was our fault or the professors. She announced it to the class & I just don't see how that made her think the terrible midterm scores were our fault? It doesn't take rocket science to figure out the root of this problem.
The lectures are good. Tests are hard
Dr. Durham is a really great professor, but this class is one of, if not the hardest classes I've taken. She knows what she's teaching extremely well, but sometimes to the point that she forgets her students do not know this information. I found reading the book assigned is incredibly beneficial. Great prof, insanely difficult class.
Hardest class I've ever taken, but coming out of it I really feel like I know what I'm talking about when it comes to microeconomics. You are graded on 4 checkup quizzes, a midterm, and a final. She has many systems in place to help you out, but you have to put in the work. She is smart and thorough, but can be condescending at times.
I've never met anyone who knows more about econ than Dr. Durham. That being said, she teaches as if her students share that same knowledge. It is very hard to keep up in her class, and examples are sped through. The high on our midterm was a 61%. If you aren't dialed on your micro skills don't take this class. This may be the first class I fail.
Econ 306 is the most difficult class I've ever taken. To do well in this class, you need to have a strong understanding of calculus and microeconomics. Professor Durham does grade on a sliding scale and gave extra credit on the midterm. That said, this class is very fast-paced. You are given packets full of new concepts each lecture. It is a lot.
Lots of papers to read, they're ALL on the exams. Also, you're expected to know everything about the paper just by its title and authors. You have to word things perfectly or you will miss points. She doesn't make powerpoints, she just has papers she puts under the document camera. You don't know your overall grade in the class unless you ask her.
Super intelligent professor, and I somewhat like how she teaches, it's just a very fast paced class on top of having such difficult material. Also, this is pretty unlikely to happen to anybody else, but if you get very sick during the midterm for a couple days, she will hate your guts. She's kind of mean and condescending overall, which is uncomfy
Very condescending. I've watched her humiliate other students for asking questions. Her teaching consists of stacks of papers that she'll go over, but they don't help you prepare for the exams at all, and is then very nitpicky on grading them. Avoid at all costs if you're neurodivergent too, she won't accommodate under the guise of being "fair".
ECON306 is a challenging course, but Professor Durham is knowledgeable. Stay on top of the fast-paced material, use the textbook, and consider unstuck AI for study prep. Attendance is mandatory, and tests can be nitpicky, but engaging with the content pays off.
I want to start by saying this is one of the hardest classes I've taken, and I'm unsure if Yvonne made it easier or harder. Tough grader who makes you look stupid through corrections. She is very smart and if you can work with her you'll actually come out of this class like you learned an immense amount of information in one quarter.
Great teacher. The lectures are super important so don't miss class. Schedule your classes keeping in mind that you should allocate time to study Econ 306 every day. Read the chapters then do the practice problems. She's helpful to talk to when you're stuck.
I took this class last year, and when I do (rarely) write these reviews I like to wait some time to be fair. If you thought intermediate microeconomics was hard, I would say this class is at least 1.5 times harder. Durham's style is pragmatic and orderly, she is one of the few professors that has a real sense of standards. Also you'll learn a ton.
