Great Professor. She's very fun and intellectual about what she's talking about the things in class and outside course materials. She is relaxed and cool teacher. Dr. Price somestimes has game and small exercises or even comedy video to wathc in class about related material or else. There possible of bad opinions about Dr. Price but she's great!

She's an Ivy League Grad (Stanford)--take her classes!Comments from students who like her classes are well-written and the comments from those "who don't think she teaches anything" read like they're written by third graders! If you're serious about getting somewhere, take her classes. You'll WORK HARD but it's worth it!

Doctor price is a woman of character,substance, and academic excellence. She has a heart of gold. She puts her heart into everything she does. Some Professors teach for a paycheck, others teach because they have a desire to instill Academic excellence in their students. I think God for the teachers and staff here;They are a cut above the rest.

At first she can come off intimidating but she is really down to earth once you get comfortable with her. She is very passionate with her views so it is not the best class to take if you have different views than her. She is willing to help but you have to go to her and ask for it. The best way I think is to talk to her duing her office hours.

Very fair teacher. I took the class and am very conservative but she never held that against me. I was never punished for not sharing the same views as Ms. Price. Extremely nice teacher, but does tend to be a little vague at times. Overall great teacher.

I enjoyed taking this class with Dr. Price. Class discussions were in direct relation to student's essay topics, and though some feel Dr. Price was biased, I believe she simply stated her position on the topics. I feel her classroom setting is comparable to that of a four year level, one where student's and teachers do not always see eye to eye.

Fabulous class.Great lectures.If you are a dumb ass who has no English skills then this is not the class for you.Although her political views can be seen as "radical" I would say only the ignorant would have a problem with what direction she takes her lectures in. Dr.Prices main goal is to educate you and have you ready for a four year!

Dr. Price is the most kick ass teacher you will ever take at FLC. She gives minimal work, but expects high quality in your essays. She is more than willing to work with you during her office hours and gives great insight. However she will show no sympathy if you are not willing to try. Take this class, she will make you laugh all semester long.

Price is one of my favorite professors at FLC. She is very willing to help you out during her office hours! Very outspoken..and I loved that.TAKE!

Loved her. She's incredibly smart and funny. She's a hard grader, but I learned so much from her. Just pay attention to what she likes/doesn't like in essays and you'll do well. She's VERY helpful if you have any issues. Wish I could have her again!

Knowledgable professor but pretty disorganized and is constantly changing her course schedule. very opinionated and worked hard to get where shes at. Listen to what she wants and does not want in essay like run on sentences and repeating yourself. Good professor

She is a very fair grader. Don't be a knucklehead and try to argue about something divisive or bigoted and you will be fine.

Professor Price is an awesome teacher. She makes class fun and enjoyable. Work in groups alot and are able to laugh alot. Will help you at any time. Doesn't take crap but she is very fun. Flexible with work. Nothing due except for essays. No slack with essays. But gives lots of time to write and edit them. Overall, cool teacher. AND VERY FUNNY!

She may not be easy but she will prepare for college. She pushes you to become a better student. Earlier reviewers must've felt bitter because she'll call you out if you bullsh*t in class. The best professor I've had & she has helped me get into one of the best universities in the nation.

Price is an exceptional teacher! She's very encouraging to all her students and she is willing to help anyone who needs additional mentoring. When I took her class I was coming straight from high school and found her class to be enjoyable among the conventional stress of senior year. Sp take her class! You won't be disappointed.

Great lady, teaches much more than english, makes you think and your your skill, She is always in her office when she is not in class and more than willing to help students. She was a wonderful Professor.

Spring 2013: she is strict with the work and attendance, but also a little unorganized returning work promptly. She pushed out some assignments due to personal problems; however, she made sure students comprehended work. Six essays, a mid term, a final, and a portfolio. I forgot most of my basic writing and grammar; she prepared me for ENGWR300!

Professor Price can be a very nice teacher if you turn work on time, good attendance and behave in class. She takes a long time to grade. She doesn't tolerate talking when she's explaining. Some of her work is easy to complete but her essays are extremely hard. Can be very strict at times and a little disorganized but her teaching makes it up.

Dr. Price's class was my favorite class this semester. She is a tough grader for her essays, but she will sit down with you to really help you understand what she expects from you. She will do everything in her power to help you succeed in her class, as long as you take your education seriously. This class was not only fun, but very educational.

Dr. Price was a awesome teacher. She assigns tough topics to write about but I learned a lot. She is very liberal and listens to what the students have to say. I really enjoyed. She is a very intelligent woman and I loved her!

She is the best English teacher I have ever had in my 4 semesters. She is very understanding, helpful, concise, and can pretty funny at times. She does not give a midterm or final, but she does give 6 essays and her class does involve reading articles online (she says it saves the trees in the environment.)

Dr. Price is one of the best professors I've ever had. Great personality, hilarious, very understanding, and loves to relate personal experience to her lectures. Class environment is relaxed but interested. Covers a few concepts very thoroughly. 2 tests, 6 750-word essays. I would definitely recommend her to anyone intimidated by English class.

Professor Price is the best teacher in the whole campus. Her classes are fun, and the subjects in class are all interesting. She is VERY helpful and understanding. Great teacher! Also very knowledgeable. TAKE HER CLASS

4-5 pg paper due every 2 weeks for the most part. Total of 6 essays make up your grade. No tests, no quizzes, no mid-term, no final. All her assigned readings were posted for free online, minus one $5 novel we didn't touch until the last 2.5 weeks. Easy B-C, only expect an A if your writing is top-notch.

She is willing to do whatever to help you succeed in the class. It is a very difficult course for those of you who have a hard time writing essays. She is very professional and also expects that from her students which in my opinion helped me respect her more and push myself to meet her requirements.

Very good professor. She's totally cool. But she does grade somewhat hard, stay on task for her essays. That's all she wants.

I really like Professor Price on a personal level; she had a good sense of humor and was quite sassy at times, which i really enjoyed. The class wasnt really structured and i feel like i didnt learn much though. but it is easy and she works hard to give effective feedback.

One of the best professor I have encountered. Her feedback to ruffs drafts are thorough and provide good clarity to writing the final drafts. She makes the class fun and I admire her on a personal level as well. Does take some time while grading, but I would rather have good feedback that a quick vague response anytime. She is very helpful!!!

This was an easy class for me! There were 6 total essays, midterm, and final. She was a little unclear with due dates. She is willing to correct your essay before you submit it for a higher grade, and the two tests were SO EASY. Overall, I loved her class and her personality!!

One of my all time favorite teachers! I wish she did more upper division courses so I could have her again. She is a tough grader but gives you very concise feedback. If you take her feedback & use it towards your future essays, you will do just fine. She makes you work for an A but is very helpful in doing so. Her essay topics are enjoyable too.

All those who negatively review her either don't try or aren't at the intellectual capability expected by a college student. You won't get an A if you don't deserve it. She's opinionated, but rightfully so seeing as the majority of her opinions align with humanism. She's my favorite professor: down to Earth and will help you if you take the time.

Professor price is a great teacher. Dr. Price does have a no nonsense policy but that shoulder be a problem if your going to school to learn. The essays are very extensive but its for your betterment. Dr. Price also gives really good feedback. If you do not write all the essays you will not pass the class.

I really enjoyed Dr. Price. The one thing I would advise is that she has strong liberal and feminist values, so she does tend to teach about those. If you're uninterested in those topics, choose someone else. A tough grader but if you follow basic MLA format, provide a clear analytical thesis statement, and stick to the word count you'll do fine.

Awesome professor. tests hard but they were few. lots of papers to write, must be handed in on time. listen to what you got to say, she says a lot. Strong on vocabulary words beware of vocab Maps. she is funny can be intimidating very inspirational. Very fair with grades but if he sees that you're not trying he will drop you or fail you.

Professor Price is an awesome instructor. She is really funny and really cares about her students. She grades fairly and her assignments are pretty easy. She picks great topics for the essays. She listens to everybody who has something to say. She is very helpful also at her office hour. Be serious and you will have no problem completing the class.

Price is honestly the best, fantastic professor and human being.

If you get on her good side, the class is amazing. I would definitely recommend forming a relationship with her. She is a very hard grader and is very hard on participation. She is a very politically driven person so be prepared to talk about pressing issues.

Professor Price is the first professor I really like and I love going to her class. Really cares about the students. I'm comfortable about raising my hand in class because she doesn't accept bullying. You have to make sure you turn the homework in on time.

I love Professor Price! I enjoyed her class. Didn't have much homework and the class was laid back. She gives good tips on how to write an essay. But stay on her good side. She doesn't tolerate bullying and people talking when she is talking. I recommend taking professor Price!

Really loved Professor Price's class. She is a fire cracker and has lots of opinions and backs them up. She expects you to be caught up on all readings before class, if no one participates she will call you at random off the roll call list. She expects you to write well, for discussion boards and essays. Gives you lots of great feedback on essays.

I Took her class not liking English. She's a fun and talkative teacher for lectures. No hw ever. Only has 5 Essays to do and that's based on your grade. Not hard to pass just write your essays and improve to get a good grade.

Professor Price is my favorite english teacher I've ever had. The majority of class is spent discussing readings in prep for discussion boards or essays, so make sure you read! She's very opinionated but is very open to students' ideas and points of view, as long as you can back them. Not an easy A, but she just wants to see that you're learning.

The class is mediocre, just TRY, meet with the professor if your work is bad, and improve your work then you'll definitely do good in the class. The teacher makes the class so much better she's really lovely and probably the funniest teacher at FLC. She actually cares about her students and is willing to help them with their work. 10/10 Professor

Amazing professor. We only had 2 essays and she dropped one to help us out. Also, as long as you participate in the reading material, youll get an A in participation. Her essays are great because she gives you a lot of freedom in writing with no prompts (but if you need one shell give you one). Really funny and nice.

I really like Dr. Price as an individual, and I sincerely appreciate the level of detail she puts into feedback on papers. If you want to push yourself and improve your writing abilities, take this class. But if you just want to get your English requirement done, choose a professor with lower standards. She will push you.

She is a great teacher and wants you to succeed. The class does not have much homework, nothing that you couldn't complete in a few hours. You can tell she cares. Take advantage of her office hours that will help raise your grade. She does not do extra credit but you shouldn't need it if you turn in all the assignments.

Theres not much homework at all other than 1 discussion post a week and a monthly essay which was very nice. However, this means you have to give it your all on each assignment. She's a very tough grader when it comes to essays. Revise your material several times to make sure it's your best possible submission. First DB is tricky, read carefully.

Dr. Price gives the best feedback I have ever received from a professor. The essay prompts are interesting and the length is not too bad. Discussion boards are assigned weekly, they're super easy and will help boost your grade. Getting an A is no problem as long as you listen to the feedback.

Professor Price is a very charismatic person and makes sure to help you if you actually do the work and and show up for her class like many in my class did not. Aside from some easy essays, there really isn't much work at all and this class ended up being a relief in my busy workload.
