Good teacher to start Relearning math with. I hadn't been in a math class in a while, But She broke it down so simply, that I think my high school math teachers could learn a thing from her.Her teasing is well intentioned and worth showing up for.

I hadn't been to school in 15 years and coming back to math (this winter) a subject i hate. Ms. Romero gave me a reason to kinda like it. She is an excellent teacher and I told her not to change her style of how she teaches!

She is a pretty good teacher, she does go through things fast so you have to keep up with her. but overall she is very good

Very helpful professor. Pay close attention! This is NOT the class to day dream in, once your lost your lost. Do MATH LAB, it's helpful for you if your lost or if your just need help in Math. Lectures very fast, again pay ATTENTION! This class was great I learned ALOT!

Yikes! This class was difficult, although Romero is an excellent teacher. She's very clear and concise, although she has a habit of putting the hardest questions from the chapter on the test. Make sure you study!!

She is a very nice teacher, but she is to hard, she only spends one day on the sections and puts the hardest questions on the test. she goes vry fast expects you to already know stuff. if you really want to lear and can pick up fast take her if not STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

She is such a good teacher. She really teaches the material very well and she is always willing to help you out. Her tests and quizzes aren't overwhelming if you study and learn how to do the math. I highly suggest you take her because you will learn.

She's the coolest and best teacher I've ever had! I've had her since Pre-Algebra! She's the best. I've recommended her to other students & they enjoyed her too. She takes time with her students and really puts a lot of effort in making sure u understand the material. This class is hard without effort but if you put effort its easier.TAKE HER CLASS!

I have never been that great in math but she helped me to undestand better.. I wish I could take her for Math 123B-?? I loved being in Romero's Class.

she is easy i guess but its just her accent that i wasnt able to understand her lectures. i took her for winter session n` i passed. tests and quizzes are pretty easy

I really enjoyed Ms. Romero. She's pretty strict and demands respect. I like that about her, she doesn't play games. I learned a lot in her class and she made it enjoyable.

I haven't taken math in 6 years due to my fear and thank god I took Romero. She is clear and straight to the point. Gives extra credit and you know what to expect on your test bec. most of the time they are problems in your homework or a problem used as an example. Just make sure you do your homework and extra credit it helps a ton. Recommended

WOW! SHe is great, Real clear and to the point. Shes about the bizness, if you want to learn take her, Home work is easy, and she will do everythiung she can to help you. All she wants is respect and she gets it in class which i think scares others. GREAT TEACHER!!!!

Mrs. Romero is way cool. She makes it easy to learn. I was math illiterate before her class. And, I actually am finding myself learning. Mrs. Romero is an excellent instructor. I guarantee, if you want to learn, stay with this teacher. Romero definitely has what it take to be a successful teacher, I actually enjoy and look forward to Math now.

If I ever want to be a teacher, I would like to be like Ms. Romero. She's great. Explains everything & goes out of her way to help you understand. I had a couple bad experiences w/2 other math teachers but I assure you would like her. She's sweet, cute, & expects your attention when she's teaching. I loved going to her class.

Professor Romero is such an awesome teacher. She helps her students by giving them time to ask after the discussion. She also gives 'homework day' which is very good. Overall, she is a very good teacher. Take her!

This is one of the best college math teachers I have ever had. If your willing to do the homework and study often you'll do good in the class. Ms. Romero is a very dedicated and extremely helpful teacher. SHe was always available to stay after class and go over problems.

If you are math phobic, anxious or challenged, the only teacher to go to at Harbor College is Z. Romero. She is brilliant. Under her able guidance, confusion & anxiety will melt away. You will become confident at solving the most complex of equations. But most of all you will end up loving and appreciating math. 5 stars-the best teacher ever!!

Z.Romero is one of the best teachers around. She runs a high energy exciting class. Romero is a dynamic and charming professor who will convince you that math is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You will learn and feel good about. She's popular so you may have to be on stand-by to get into her class. It's worth it.

Prof. Romero is the sweetest math prof. I ever had in my life. If you don't get something, she will explain to you in detail. If you have personal problems, she is the one to talk to. Students say she is mommy prof. since she always cares about her students. She has EC and HW day (very helpful). She gives partial credit on the exam. The Best !!!

i use to hate math and was pretty intimadated by it, but proffesor Romero really makes math make sense and pretty fun. I recomend her for anyone who thinks there bad at math. She will help you see that your really not.

The teacher is a good teach, knows her stuff, but has a habit of picking favorites and speaking to all students, LIKE CHILDREN. I was reduced to tears when coming in 2 minutes late and embarrassed in front of whole class (8am) 2nd time late and disabled, and take bus. I dropped the class. Needs sensitivity training. But good teacher, not for me.

Very nice teacher. Always willing to help students who don't understand. Passed the class with a C because I made careless mistakes on my quizzes and tests but knew I could've done better. I would recommend taking her class.

Professor Romero is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. She's definitely not easy, but if you are willing to work hard she is willing to help you, 110%. She will give you back more than you put in as long as you want to do the work. I've taken 5 of her classes, I loved them all (from math123b-pre-algebra-stat)

Extrememly good teacher, cares,but you have to respect her as a professor when she is lecturing,dont be on your phone,dont be late,dont talk when shes talking and she will respect you.Very helpfull,goes out of her way to spend time with u when u need help.Love her.I had the worst algebra teachers my whole life until I took her class,now I get math.

Great instructor! She might not be nice to all her students, but she is highly effective. Explains things well & will help you if you need it. Just have enough common sense to be respectful in her class & do your work. Easy A for students that are willing to REALLY pay attention & do hw.

I used to not get what's goin on with math. but MS. ZT ROMERO explained everything! crystal clear! step by step! She is the best teacher ever!!! And she is very compassionate and caring! i love her!

She is a great prof. but you have to work really hard on your own to pass. She's open to questions but math lab and with classmates is where I learned the most. You need to have a thicker skin to be in her class, she snaps every now and then. Who doesn't though? I took 123A B C, and STATS.

Lectures are fast, clear, and to the point. If you are someone who has taken Algebra in HS (or before) you'll love her quick pace. Attendance & the book are mandatory! She gives little EC and only takes a couples of HW. She drops 1 test, and the final is supposedly culm. However the final is mainly the last 2 chapters. Quizzes -easy, tests - hard.

I cant explain how much I love Romero. She has been such a big help to me in so many ways. She is so helpful and very thorough of her lectures. Make sure you come everyday and sit infront of the class. She has made me enjoy math and I used to hate it. i took her for 123A, B & C.

Excellent professor. Math is voodoo magic to me - she made it clearly understandable. Always available to help. Wonderful teacher, lovely person.

She really dislikes when students are late or do not show up to class, so just pay her the respect of coming to every class on time. Her lectures are very understandable, and she constantly stops to answer any questions about a topic before moving on. Her quizzes and tests are really easy if you pay attention, take notes, and do the homework.

Easy class if you show up everyday and pay attention ! Even though she doesn't collect the homework I would most definitely recommend you to do the homework because it prepares you a lot for the exams.. She can be moody at times but just ignore it and don't get her upset because that puts you on her bad side.

I took her for Math 260 over the Fall. It was honestly challenging. But manageable, I even thought of dropping the class. But when I talked to Romero about dropping the class, she helped me out and told me how much points I needed and it was possible to still get a "C" instead of getting a "W". Good professor.

Romeo is a wonderful teacher. She helps you and gives you grace when you fall short. Very helpful when you ask her questions you need further help in. All in all, I recommend her

Overall, she is a good teach and very knowledgeable. Get ready to study cuz she will choose tough questions test you, some of that she never mentioned before, she is nice, helpful. Don't be late, she will get upset. Not an easy class.

Best math teacher i wish she would teach other algebra classes I have not been able to find another math teacher as good as she is. Really takes the time to explain everything so you understand what you're doing.

Romero makes math very easy to understand. She takes what looks complicated in the book and makes it seem simple. She cares about her class, but is disappointed when her students do not score well. She gives partial credit on tests. Sometimes she is a little grouchy, but not often. Otherwise she is really nice and wants to help you succeed.

Sweet, kind professor. Gives lots of examples & is available to help if you have questions. HW was done online. Final was cumulative but the most recently covered material was the bulk of it. If you review examples and the text, ask questions, and use the math tutors in the LRC, if needed, there is no reason you can't get an A.

Be on-time , pay attention .Do all the work required. She is very kind, caring but firm. Gives lots of extra credit , gives partial points on the tests. SHOW ALL YOUR WORK.

Took her for pre-calc over the summer. It was a little dumbed down from fall/spring, but pretty close. She gave partial credit on tests, and we had lots of extra credit opportunities. Tests were fine, just had material from the lectures. Easy A for me, but some others in the class had a harder time. If you did well in the prereqs you'll be fine.

She's a pretty great teacher. She doesn't allow you to make up any tests nor does she reopen any homework or quizzes. If you don't do the online portion of the class, you won't pass. She goes pretty quickly so be sure to ask questions when you're stuck, if you still don't understand her,go to tutoring, she gives extra credit for going.

Shes a pretty great teacher, a lot of people complain but she tries to help you out if she can. She offers a lot of extra credit to make quizzes and tests easier. If you get 100 on her final, she'll give you the A in class. This is my third class with her, I really enjoy it.

Did Stats over Summer at Harbor. Power points are excellent and I never once looked at the textbook or YouTube. You must pay your dues and do the homework and quizzes on time. The extra credit provided at the end took my grade from a C to an A. Life saving, but expected from a grueling 6 week Stats course. Expect to study a lot and you'll be fine.

Took her for both Trig and Stats. Let me tell you that she is an amazing professor. She definitely prepares her students for pre-calc and definitely Calculus. Gives A LOT of extra credit. I totally recommend her.

Totally recommend this class if you do not have time to take her in class. I took Ms Romero for multiple math classes very nice and helpful. She always returned emails quickly. If you apply yourself and do the homework you will pass. She goes the extra mile. This is an online class so you have to make extra time and push yourself to do the work.

Ms. Z. Romero, Is the greatest Math Professor ever. As a student, I am truly honored and privileged to be one of her students. Her lectures were very useful and they made sense when you work on homework. She is very well equipped to be there for students. She takes her time to make Math fun. she is one of a kind. Truly passionate about her work.

She is such an amazing professor. I took her for two classes (Statistics and Trignometry) She makes sure you understand the material. Gives extra credit for going to tutoring. She definitely cares about her students. If you want an A you definitely have to work for it. Take her!

I took this class during the summer session (6 week course). You have to purchase an access code to use Pearson. She gives extra credit which is very easy. She also curved the final exam. She gives 3-4 homework assignments, 1 quiz and 1 exam with every chapter. I taught myself with the help of Pearson and youtube videos. Overall easy class.

Professor Romero was an alright professor, I took her class for winter term and never had to join a zoom meeting but there was a ton of homework. I learned a lot but the amount of work can definitely be taxing so be prepared.

If you're bad at math, take this class. She gives you extra credit JUST PUT IN EFFORT. She's my favorite math teacher so far, she actually cares and tries to help you understand. I did have to pay for the Pearson program which was a bit costy but other than that, this class was good.
