He's always prepared for class and gets papers back on time. He will spend as much time as it takes with individual students to help them with they're papers. Also, he has a great sense of humor and very laid back. His class was one of the funnest classes I've had.

I heard this class was easy - this was a lie. Sure, I passed the class with a B, but I had to work my butt off to get it. I was worried that if I missed too much class that my grade would go down. I made sure I was their every day and even compared notes with others. I learned quite a bit. I think I'll do just fine in my next English class.

I always looked forward to his class! He knows how to bring up topics and discussions that will help you with the current paper (the longest was only 5 pages) and also prepare you for future writing. Just go to class and you'll do fine. Don't be afraid to ask when you don't have a clue of what's going on, because he will take the time to explain.

Zach was a huge stud. I was a ex construction worker who couldn't give a crap about english. He inspired us to be not just better at writing, but better students, and better people. I actually looked forward to class. I had to study hard to get an a-, but he doesn't expect more than what a normal college freshman is capable of. He is awesome!

Zach is amazing! Sure, his hand writing isn't understandable, but it doesn't hurt to ask him for help anyway. He is very passionate about what he's teaching, and a really chill, great guy. I definitely recommend him.

I loved my ENGL 1010 class with Zach! He's such a chill guy. His serious about his stuff, so he's a little tough, but he teaches you everything you need to know to write the papers for his class. I definitely recommend him if you want a fun but educational class that will push you a bit.

Zach is hands down the best teacher I have ever had. He not only cares about the students and what he is teaching but he will get the class interested as well. The assignments aren't easy but he will explain them until you get it, doesn't grade on grammar just put in an honest effort and you'll do fine. His handwriting isn't as bad as people say.

I always emailed him or his assistants with questions and they went out of there way most times to help me with whatever! I definitely recommend him if you are truly wanting to learn and be a good writer.

Zach is by far my favorite english teacher. There are 5 papers throughout the semester, no quizzes or tests. He is so interesting and intelligent. He grades on progress and how well you follow instructions, not skill. This was my favorite class.

I really appreciated Zach's help. He was so willing to work with each one of his students. As long as you put in the work he would work with you on your grade. You do need the textbook for this course, he has you write up a summary and answer a few questions for the chapters. You are also allowed to edit and resubmit essays! He's awesome!

Zach is a good guy. If you withhold the typical student/professor relationship mentality, he is just a really cool guy that happens to know a lot and is teaching the class. He understands students, but he also understands what students are capable. It's a good mix.

Professor Largey is a good teacher. He doesn't give a lot of papers to write (Only 3 - 4page papers and one 6 pager.) He has a way that he makes you write your papers that is a lot harder than normal english classes. Oh, and you won't need to textbook.

Zach was an amazing teacher. He taught in ways that challenges the way you think about English which is amazing for a general class. The way he set up the class made it so that every student could succeed if they tried their best. The papers were challenging, but he makes sure that you understand the assignment and have enough help. Thumbs up!!

Zach was a great professor. My class was small, only about 20 people and we all really got to know each other and to know Zach. He did a lot of group discussion-type things in class, but no actual group projects. He was willing to work with each student individually and even allowed rewrites on papers to get a higher grade. Only about 5 papers.

Largey was an amazing professor. He made sure to lay clear ground work for all of his papers, explained the material thoroughly and was always available outside of class for extra instruction. He really made me think and I'm 100% a better writer and student because I took his class. DEFTINITELY would take it from him again.

Zach does a great job at ensuring the students know what is required in class. There were 5 final papers due throughout the semester and they're 4-6 pages long. His expectations are realistic and gives you the opportunity to get an A through revisions.

Have you ever seen Dead Poet's Society? Well, Zach is EXACTLY like professor John Keating in that movie. I absolutely loved this class! He doesn't sit a read off a powerpoint but instead involves himself in hearing your opinion. He cares a lot about your work and helps you out the best you need. He encourages you to think outside the box! love him!

Professor Largey was easily one of the most amazing professors I've had at this school. I took his summer block class and honestly wish I had more time to enjoy it. He really knows his stuff. He took us step by step on creating a great thesis paper and we got to choose a topic that related to our major. If I could take again I would.

Sometimes a little unclear with expectations for assignments online. But for a good reason; he tailors the class to the students. So assignments sometimes are different than on canvas. Talk to him about assignments in person. Also, I love his teaching style. He's a good mix of John Keating from Dead Poets Society and a highly Intelligent Professor.

Professor Largey is very nice. He makes you revise instead of giving you a lower grade. It's easy to get an A because there are no tricky tests and he allows redos on everything.

For someone who had not done any academic writing in years Professor Largey's class was a great fit. This is the type of class that if you stay up to date on assignments (usually about 1-2 a week plus 4 papers) you will have no problem getting a good grade. He is very helpful and accepts editing on papers you turn in for a better grade.

Lets you revise paper for better grade and actually goes thru your essay and points out stuff to edit. Clearly describes and outlines how to write your paper, even writes a thesis. Used the textbook maybe 10 times for short answer response assignments. We mostly just worked on papers and a few short answer assignments. Overall, good guy & class

I LOVE THIS TEACHER SO MUCH!!! As long as you attend class you will get an A, he lets you redo essays as many times as needed, and gives good feedback with each submission. He's also willing to help outside of class, and with other items not for his class.

I took the 7 am class which was a mistake because I was late all the time and had points deducted. He was a very understanding professor which I really appreciated.

Zach was an overall fun teacher. He gave audio feedback, which I really liked. Zach involved the entire class, even though it wasn't easy for all of us at 8 am. The papers are somewhat difficult, but he is really willing to work with you on improving them.

Professor Largey is super chill. He gives plenty of time to work on papers, unless you do not your work, you will get an A. There are only 3 or 4 papers throughout the semester and only 2-4 pages double spaced. Not lecture heavy but attendance is highly recommended to receive full points.

Not hard class, minimal english assignments. Most days is just a discussion, you will have something due like once a week if that. He's understanding and wants you to pass. if you're having trouble deciding, just do yourself a favor and pick this teacher. -great feedback -very flexible assignment rubrics -helps you learn to do real research about topics you care about -relatively easy assignments and expectations if I could wake up at 6:30am more consistently I'm sure I would've gotten an A. great teacher.

This is an English class that i learned in. We never used the Textbook. Participation points are given out each day. Theres two 5-7 page essays, an oral presentation, and annotated bibliography thats due throughout the semester. He gives you feedback and tell you what to do to get an A, you can resubmit several times until you are satisfied w grade

Great teacher, you will learn a lot. I have struggled with English since elementary school. Showing up every day matters, but if you put in the work, you will get an A. It's honestly sad when you have teachers as good as him and only have half the class show up. He is awesome
