He is very cute and dresses well. The class is a little tough, he grades graphs tough. He does a good job going through the material. Doesn't suggest you buy the book unless you feel it necessary to read. Overall, a good professor.

He doesn't require the book because he explains everything clearly and writes everything on the board as well. If you just come to class listen and write the notes down, you'll deffinitely get an "A" He's a great professor/person and he's always willing to help with anything.

Great professor, very helpful. Didn't need to buy a book. Writes everything on the board, so take GREAT notes -- it pays off. Study the concepts from the old tests and the notes, and you should be fine. Be on time though -- loss points if late!

i took micro @ USF with some crazy teacher and macro @ HCC with Mr. Cronin. He was so clear that i never had any problem but micro was a different story! He even help me out with micro! So he is a nice guy. i know, he flirts with girls, but thats only because girls flirt with him! Come on u guys, dont be jelaous! U would do the same thing!

You can't really rate if you took it on-line, it's the lecture that really defines the professor. I hope this site isn't just about finding out who is easy?! I had Cronin for Micro and Macro and thought he was probably one of the better professors I've had. He's fair and brings more to the class than just the curriculum.

I took him for macro and micro. He is one of the best teachers ive had. Extremely fair. No book required. If you go to class and pay attention his classes are not hard - plus you get to use a cheat sheet for the final. Do not take his online classes! Ive never taken them but he even warns you not to. Best teacher take him for macro and micro!

Best teacher HCC has to offer! Attendance is what ever you want it to be -No book (be grateful- its very expensive) , tests are not super easy- but if you go to class and take notes you cant fail! You get copies of the tests at the beginning of the seamster. Your a fool to take anyone else. Seriously the BEST teacher at any HCC campus!

I took macro with a different teacher and disliked the class, but took micro with Cronin and loved it! His teaching technique was easy to learn from. Don't be late, he doesn't like negative externalities. He was extremely helpful, always wrote back quickly to E-mails and was in his office before class. I switched my major to Econ because of him.

He is one of the best instructors at HCC. He gives sample exams, tells students what not to do or miss on the tests,and help you whenever you have questions. Cheat sheet is allowed on the final exam which is a plus. The bottom line: go to class on time + study= A.

Cronin is a great teacher. He knows his material and teaches it perfectly. Four tests and a final. Allows a cheat sheet for the final. No text book was used for Micro or Macro. This guy knows his stuff. You got to go to class tho. No text book, but anything that's on the board should be on your notepad. No homework, 4 tests and a final, that's it. He's quite a professor, I learned a lot. If you really wanna learn, take Cronin.

I am about to graduate as an economics major and I was looking back at my favorite college professors and Cronin came to mind. By far my favorite professor at any college level. Nobody made economics more clear than this man. Everything on the exams is on the board at one point, so take good notes and enjoy the class!

I regretted taking him cause I couldn't keep up w/notes he wrote on board-no book used. I had fam. issues that affected me & flu during final so failed class. But at last min. I found I learned more than thought so taking him 4 macro/retake Micro. Go 2 every class, take all notes & pay attn to graphs-he anal on those. Be on time he locks the door!

Great teacher. If you listen properly and study his reviews, you will do well in the class. Also if you are having problems he welcomes students to come to his office for help, during office hours.

Also your entire grade is based on 4 tests, fail one and the highest you can get is a C.

He gives out past tests to help you study... if you take the time to do those and review sheets he gives out in class, you shouldn't get any less than a A in his class. This class was honestly very good and I enjoyed the lectures. Cronin definitely has great teaching skills, however that does not go to say the class is easy. Make sure you study, NEVER BE LATE, and take good notes and you should be fine. Does not like grade haggling so just do good from the beginning.

Take Professor Cronin's class, highly recommended! Lecture only, no book required. No homework, 4 tests and cumulative final (with cheat sheet). Study everything he says, if he mentions it in class, it will be on a test. Take On-Campus class vs. Online. NO book needed, don't buy it. NO homework. 4 tests + 1 cumulative final (1-page cheat sheet allowed). Attending every class, taking good notes (write down EVERYTHING!) and studying will get you a good grade. He gives review sheets and past tests to study. Lectures enjoyable, Professor is helpful. Don't be late!

The class was taught solely through myecon lab in pearson and there weren't any lectures to help you perform better on the test.

Cronin has definitely been one of my best profs at HCC. No homework, no textbook. Just take notes, be on time, and study for the exams. Your entire grade is based on three cumulatives and one final. P.S. could high key be somebody's sugar daddy.

I took for macro and micro, same for both completely online! he does not interact with class at all. Only 2 tries for each homework question, Tests are long and a little tough. If you want to pass just make sure to dedicate time in this course and make sure to do good on homework

He is Awesome ! I was a little worried at first because you only have four grades for your final grade ( only test) but the review is extremely helpful and he is more than willing to help during his office hours.

You will need a lot of self-discipline to get an A in this class. You will be responsible for doing the chapter reading and homework, and there are 4 tests. As long as you keep up you will do fine. I will be taking him again for Micro, solid choice.

He is a great professor to take for anyone who needs to take Macroeconomics. He makes lectures engaging and filled with lots of humor! I managed to follow him through his lectures by taking great notes. This class is VERY lecture-based! No homework, just do 5 question review sheets and pass the 4 exams as that is what you're graded on. I recommend!

Cronin's class is easily one of the best classes I have taken. Cronin conveys information very practically so it is easy to grasp. Lessons are always interesting and relative to current issues. Interest is kept by short side-stories which somehow always relate back to class. All material on the exams are covered in lecture and on the example exams.

Zachary Cronin is truly a standup guy. His slight digressions, which are in abundance, are related to the course, and involved with the field providing pretty good insight. You will leave this course more a more informed consumer, for better or worst. Don't take if you can't understand PEMDAS.

Cronin is truly an amazing professor, he has made Econ become my favorite subject, he takes time to help you understand and use real life issues to help you in the course. If you copy everything he has on the board, study those, you will pass. He is also extremely funny and know what he is talking about. Econ is never boring with Cronin.

Dont show up late, itll cost you and everyone else an extra credit point. Its a fairly easy class. Hes anal about the graphs. Take notes, everything he says and write except his rants about Lulu Lemon stocks, Tesla and his travels. Show up on time, pay attention and youll be good. Study a little too. Same for Micro, had him for both.

A breath of fresh air. Cronin hails from the West Coast and is an impactful character. Stern in his approach but beyond fair. Adapt to his ways and you will find an excellent source of knowledge and financial geniussness. Will build a better person out of students with aptitude. Take this class!! I took him for macro and micro. criteria is clear no surprises. This is not an easy class but if you show up, take notes and take the practice tests you'll be fine. Ask questions he explains well. Homework is in class no online work or textbook. And you'll hear about his tesla lol but hes a great professor!

Great teacher, very few assignments. Every week he assigned a homework, learning curve, and about every 3 weeks gave out a test. For the tests you get a 2nd attempt to improve your score. Every week a zoom meeting and it went well.

I took professor Cronin in the spring and if I had to take this class again I would 100% take it with him. He makes sure to tie in real economic situations and events into his lectures and even will stay after class hours to go over any homework questions or any key concepts! He truly cares about his students and the subject he teaches!!

This was probably the easiest class I've ever had. Everything is clear you'll know what to do, you don't even have to read all you have to do is watch the videos and you'll know all you need to know for the assignments. Super nice teacher too, I'm definitely taking him for micro.

Professor Cronin has a very clear course. Every week, you read a chapter in the textbook, do a video lecture assignment, and do practice problems. There are 4 exams, all multiple choice. You can work ahead if you want, as there is not too much work each week. Be sure to read the textbook, as most of the test questions come from it!

This entire course is through Macmillan Achieve if you choose to take it online. In addition, the professor decided to make every assignment due until the end of the semester! Every chapter had at least 3 assignments which was pretty decent. The only thing is that the 4 exams had 75 questions each. Do not slack off and you will pass!

Professor Cronin is a must-take professor if you're taking economics at HCC. His online class is set up in a way where it's really hard for you to fail his class. As long as you don't fall behind and you regularly do the assignments you will surely pass! He also is quick with responding. Definitely would take future economics classes with him!!!

Professor Cronin is the best. His online class is cake. As long as you do the work you will pass and he communicates with his students to remind them of deadlines. I highly recommend taking his online class for macro as it's doable and you will pass the class with flying colors. Everything is done through Macmillian Achieve.

All coursework done in Ebook. No lectures. All questions have 2 tries. Exams can be taken twice. No EC. You have to read entire chapter. Working thru Ebook makes it nearly impossible to get below a B if you read material. A lot of answers on quizlet. Self taught & self paced-entire course open on day 1 & due on last day. Easy A!

Everything is online there teacher will be available if you need anything but the class is very easy as long as you turn everything on time

Very easy class overall. The course I took was flex start which allowed all assignments due by end of the course date. very accessible and easy. would take again!

I don't know anything about Professor Cronin. I don't even know what he looks like. Regardless, his course is set up fantastic and all work is done completely in canvas. I took this course in an 8-week session and I got through it in 2 weeks. All of the homework and quizzes are open to you the first day. Take this if you need to get Economics done.

Mr. Cronin is the best professor I have had at HCC. His class is super straightforward: write everything down from the board, do your homework and study, you'll pass. He also took a lot of time after class to help if you did not understand a concept from the lecture or homework and his test review study sessions were so helpful. TAKE THIS CLASS!

6 week online econ class. There were 14 chapters and each chapter included reading the book, a homework assignment, learning curve assignment, and a video with questions. There were 4 unit tests that were not monitored and pretty difficult. I ended with a 90% and got an A. Doable but definitely time consuming. Didn't really hear from professor.

Hands down the best professor I've ever had. You don't even have to study for tests if you listen to the lectures. Everything is perfectly clear and concise. The only icky thing is the online homework as it is way different from what we do in class. If that throws you off, my condolences as you will miss this amazing class.

Professor Cronin's ECO2013 is a straightforward, self-paced course. The textbook and online resources like Unstuck ai make it easy to succeed if you stay on top of the work. Definitely take this class if you need an economics credit.

Every assignment is in Achieve. Use every resource including the textbook to help you. Grades go into canvas really quickly. I recommend completing a chapter a week- only 3 assignments per chapter and 4 total exams. Each question gets two tries and it gives you hints on the right answer. Very easy class to take.

Professor Cronin is very nice as well as funny. His lectures are very enjoyable. There is only 4 test, no final, and 3 homeworks in between tests. I recommend his class, just be ready to study.
