Idk why he doesn't have any ratings, but I took him for A&P 1 Lecture, and it was amazing! Weekly homeworks (super easy), 3 Papers he calls Literature Reviews, and tons of extra credit. Open book final, and he answers emails fast! Participation isn't required, but he offers extra credit in the first few mins of class if youre on time. Great prof!
Took him for anatomy 2 lab. Weekly quizzes with two dropped, two lab reports, histology assignment, and midterm and final. He is lecture heavy but prepares you for the exams. He is lenient and will look over you work and give feedback before submission. He gives TONS of extra credit!!!
Wonderful professor, will take his class again and again. Will help you ever step of the way. Being an older student I really need the extra help he provides.
Professor Ellsworth is AWESOME! Quizzes every week, with the option of group effort or by yourself. 2 lowest will be dropped. 2 lab reports but have 4 weeks to complete. Bring your lab report to him, he will look over it and tell you any corrections you may need. Some histology drawings. Lots of extra credits. Responds quickly to messages too.
I took Professor Ellsworth for A&P I and the class was great. Be prepared to study because there is a lot of material but his teaching style helps. There are 3 literature reviews (you have a lot of range on the topics), weekly homework that helps with studying, and he offers extra credit when you're on time to class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Professor Ellsworth is an awesome instructor. He is very engaging and goes out of his way to thoroughly explain and break down information to make sure his students understand the information. He makes anatomy so interesting that you want to learn the material. He wants you to pass and do well in his class. You will love his class guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Professor Ellsworth was a amazing professor. I would recommend him if you are taken A&P lab. His assignments/quizzes/exams are very straight forward and he is always available if you are in need of help. Honestly the best professor I have had for a lab class!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this professor! Easiest class ever! I could've made an A on his exams if I was a better test taker. However, he's a great teacher and very understandable! Just come to class ready to learn, he doesn't grade hardly and you have homework assignments due every Sunday but they're easy. 1000/10 recommend!
Dr. Ellsworth was AMAZING! I have taken A&P three times and he was by far the easiest, most understanding, and student-friendly professor! Everything is clear and cut with no surprises! He's not work heavy, lots of extra credit opportunities and he has a sense of humor! if you want to pass A&P Lab, TAKE HIM!! It's very hard for you to fail!
Do not hesitate to take Mr. Ellsworth's lab! The previous reviews are great for a reason. Best teacher and is SO willing to help you succeed. I wish he could teach all my other classes.
Professor Ellsworth was an amazing professor for A&P 2 lab. he was very insightful about a lot of topics in class and even those that didn't really pertain to the class. He grades very light and makes it very easy to be able to make an A as long as you pay attention and do the little work he assigns. Would recommend to anyone who asked!
Great teacher with great teaching methods, patient, understanding and professional. Course was easy to understand as explanations and lectures were very clear. Class was very enjoyable and instructive.
Great professor! Very understanding just as long as you communicate with him. Very honest.
In short, He is the best professor that I have ever had! Take Him.
He makes the course material come to life. He explains until you understand. With the terminology being tricky at times he was open to being asked to repeat and clarify. Quizzes weekly from Lectures were not hard. Read and take notes
Professor E was freaking amazing! He made the lectures relatable, easy to comprehend, and fun! He has great enthusiasm and you can tell teaching is his passion and calling! If you have to take AP2 look no further he is a superb instructor!
First and foremost, Dr. E is FREAKING AMAZING! He is very caring and can totally relate. He makes it easy for you to learn; walks around to make sure you know and understand the material. He works w/ you individually to make sure you know what you're looking at and understand the process of things. Overall, A-FREAKING-MAZING!
Great Professor!!! Lectures are great. We did experiments that were very interesting. A lot of info to learn but he makes it fun. He is approachable, helpful, and caring. Tutoring sessions are great. He takes his time with you and makes sure you understand the info. I'm so happy I picked his class. Definitely recommend taking Mr. E.
Professor Ellsworth is AHH-MAZING!! I took him for both A&P 1 and 2 and he was the best. Hands down the best professor at GSU perimeter college. He's super nice and will answer ur questions. You get to work on all your quizzes with your table mates and he gives two bonus questions on every quiz. Anatomy is a very heavy class and he made it fun!
I love this professor! He made A&P fun for me, especially since science is not my favorite subject. He gives extra credit opportunities, so take advantage of them. He really cares about his students and wants us to be successful in the class. Just make sure you do the homework, extra credit, and use an index card the test, and you will be fine!
I took this course as a post-baccalaureate student. Meaning I've been in school a long time, had lots of professors, attended multiple schools. Dr. Ellsworth is objectively the best. 350 characters is insufficient to describe his skill. If you have the chance to take a class with Dr. E, do it.
The professor taught the course materials very clearly and he was very understanding. He cares about the students and always willing to help students succeed in the course. He was organized, patient, and provided grading on time.
I want others to know this professor wants every student to pass and that he is willing to do his part to help them succeed. He is also one of the most patient instructors who I have had the pleasure of being under his tutelage. I actually learned more than I thought I would. He also made things I wondered about come to light. I appreciated him.
This is one of the most caring, informative and empathetic professors I've ever had in my entire life. He made a difficult subject easy & made everything make sense. His lectures are good & is an amazing speaker & listener. If you're lucky enough to get a seat in his class, TAKE IT! He teaches 2110 and 2120 & I got an A in both. Love that man!:)
I took him for A&P2 lab got an A and lec got a B he is an amazing professor. He is very caring responds to emails on time grades on time. He gives extra credit and if you don't understand he explains further. I would advice to study days before exam and not cram if you want to do well goodluck.
It's a lot of information, but he makes it enjoyable.
I got a C in this class because I took it in the summer with another biology class. I was doing way too much! I should have gotten a B easily. Trust me you will not regret taking Professor Ellsworth. He is awesome! He cares and he wants you to succeed in his class. He will help you in every way possible. You must put forth the effort as well.
Hands down one of the best professors I've had since attending GSU. Professor Ellsworth is passionate about what he does and cares about making sure everyone in class understands the curriculum. He grades like super fast. As long as you do your part to study and put in the work you can set yourself up for success.
Dr. Ellsworth is one of the best Professors at GSU. He wants all of his students to succeed. He broke down the material so everyone could understand. You can get an A easily if you put in the work and effort. If you can get into any of his classes, take him. He is also easily accessible and a very fast grader. We all appreciate him this semester.
I took Ellsworth for A&P lecture and lab.t The syllabus and class schedule for lecture and lab were straightforward. No busy work. He makes the material interesting and fun to learn. If you have any concerns, communication matters. Ellsworth is always available to help you out with the material.
Mr. Ellsworth helps make A & P concepts make sense. His instruction is organized = helpful when juggling life, work, and school. Lectures are interesting and lively; homework is actually useful; study objectives are detailed and clear, and online + on-campus resources are easily accessible. Sign up on day 1; class gets full quickly!
I LOVED Prof Zach! He has been the best professor I have taken in all of my college years very informational in his lectures, he tells you exactly what you need to know in order to prepare for quizzes/test. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING HIM, YOU WILL LEAVE THE CLASS CONFIDENT ON WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED BECAUSE HE MADE THE COURSE FUN/UNDERSTANDING.
I absolutely wished I had professor Ellsworth for all my biology classes. He loves to teach and it shows, he is always available to help you if you need extra help, his lectures are great! just use the objectives. study! The only reason I did not get a A was because I missed some classes due to family issues and illnesses. Best professor!
I registered for his A&P I Lab class & he is a phenomenal instructor. He truly cares about his students & their success. He delivers the information perfectly. As long as you come to class and pay attention, you will pass. For any lab reports or histology drawings, follow the examples and handouts provided. You'll love him!
I really enjoyed Professor Ellsworth's lecture and learned a lot. He gives extra credit for the exams and good feedback on the literature reviews. He didn't just teach from the book or PowerPoint but showed videos and gave in-depth examples and real-life experiences. He truly wants you to succeed and all you have to do it put in the effort.
Just take him. Reach out if you have any questions, he will always help you out! Very understanding, accessible, makes class fun and engaging. I got so much out of this class. Professors like Dr. Ellsworth inspire me to continue with nursing and the medical field. If you put in the effort A&P will be hard to fail.
He is a great Professor and very helpful . Please go to open lab , it will get you throught the class.
One the best professor I ever had. He cares for all his students. I will take him 1 million times. Hey future students do not I say do not miss out of this amazing professor.
I absolutely loved his class. He made everything easy to understand for lecture and lab! The class always had an amazing time and always advanced discussions further. The tests were medium difficulty, lots of extra credit, and will help you until he can't anymore. This class works great with a study group and is memory heavy.
Willing to go the extra mile to help you understand, very patient and polite.
I had Professor Ellsworth for both A&P 1 & 2, & he was amazing! Never failed to go back & repeat anything if even 1 student could not grasp content. Do not be afraid to ask questions! Very polite and interactive. Also took his Lab 1/2 & passed, but it all came down to studying. Do NOT be lazy, make sure to do the homework & assignments on time!
Amazing teaching style! This professor truly wants to see you succeed. Very understanding and very helpful. Offered extra credit for midterm and final. Please listen to this professor when he says to start an assignment early. Histology drawings & lab reports take a lot longer than what you would think.
I took Professor Ellsworth for both AP 1&2.He is an incredible teacher who really cares that you learn and understand the concepts. His lectures are in depth and prepare you for exxams, weekly homework helps you prepare for exams. Attendance is mandatory.Lots of extra credit opportunities.
The best Professor ever. Cares about his students. A & P is a tough class but Professor Ellsworth will break down the information so you understand. I got A's in the four classes I took with him. He doesn't just read from the PowerPoint and he offers extra credit for his exams. He is loved and respected by all his students.
This guy is a rockstar! He offers a lot of office hours and will help you work through difficult concepts. Put in the work, and you will get an A. Prof. Ellsworth is fun, entertaining, and, above all, a great educator. If you are someone who wants to take classes online, you will be missing out if you don't take his in-person class. Take this.
Took Professor Ellsworth for A&P 2 lab. He is honestly the best. Breaks things down very well in class and is open and excited to answer any questions you have. As long as you attend class and are engaged it is pretty easy to get a good grade. Gives extra credit for the exams that you get to do online and use material for.
I loved this professor!!!! He was the best, such an easy grader and actually cares about his students. I always felt like he wanted what was best for us. He would come in early and stay late to help us with anything we didn't understand. I took this class in the summer so I was worried about the pace, but it was not hard at all and ended with an A.
I liked how hilarious and entertaining he was. His style of teaching is more suited for a Lecture class not a Lab class. My other Lab classes were heavy on experiments/lab manual daily. I felt like I was taking two lecture classes. To have the first class on a Tuesday, then the first quiz on that following Thursday was unexpected and stressful.
Hello All! This professor is phenomenal and wants you to succeed in the class. The class composed of several group quizzes, a midterm, 2 lab reports, histology drawings, and final. The objectives will get you through the course; pay attention to them and answer them. DO NOT wait until the last minute to do any of the assignments. Happy Studying :)
Definitely straightforward! You can tell he loves what he does & I wish I could've took him for all my science courses! Found him on here & glad I decided to register for his A&P 2 lab.
Taking human anatomy with Zach has been rewarding despite its difficulty. His clear explanations, daily quizzes, and extra credit opportunities to motivate truly help. He's always available for feedback or guidance. I even sacrificed my Saturdays to take A&P2L after taking him for A&P I because his teaching is phenomenal and inspiring!
A&P I and also the lab can be a bit overwhelming. But professor Ellsworth makes it pretty easy to understand the way he breaks it down for you until you understand the material and that's what I love about his class and his teaching style. I will take his class over and over again if I had to. He is a really awesome professor.
No wonder this professor's classes get filled up so quickly, he is a wonderful teacher! I thoroughly enjoyed the lab class and looked forward to it each week. I found the quizzes easy if you study, the labs were interesting and fun, the lab reports were challenging, and the midterm and final are practicals. I highly recommend this professor!
He's quite literally the best professor ever! His lectures are entertaining and he'll do everything in his power to help you understand. He prepares you well for his lecture and lab exams. It can be a lot of work at times, but that's just anatomy in general. You can really tell how passionate he is about this subject. Can't recommend him enough!
Zac is one of the best professors I've ever had! He makes class fun and engaging with his great sense of humor, making even tough topics enjoyable. He's incredibly helpful, always taking time to answer questions and explain clearly. His grading is transparent, and he's approachable and easy to talk to. Don't miss his class!
If you're looking to learn in a fun environment this is the professor for you. He made AP1L easy to understand. We did have weekly quizzes but they really helped us memorize everything we needed for our practical. We did a few labs that were awesome , I highly encourage you to take him for lab. He is also THE ONLY REASON I passed AP lecture.
Professor Zachary Ellsworth is an awesome teacher. You won't find many teachers who care whether their students learn the material, He make sure you understand it. He also does everything to help you pass his class. If I could take him for all of my classes I would. Thank you, Zachary, for all of your help.
Professor Ellsworth is a very kind and caring teacher who provides lots of opportunities for extra credit. I took him for my A&P 1 Lab and I am very glad I did. If you put in effort, you will definitely pass. In his class, there are weekly group quizzes, 3 assignments, and 2 exams. I will take him for my A&P 2 Lab next semester!
Definitely one of the best teachers for Anatomy & Physiology and the lab! He made A&P really fun to learn about. I enjoyed his lectures. You can tell he cares about his students. Take him!!
He's a really amazing professor with lots of extra credit in his class. He really wants you to understand the course material and pass and he'll make sure of that. Attend class, do the literature reviews and read for the exams. Also, try not to use AI for your literature review, he actually reads it so he will find out.
Class participation is a must. If you do the work you will pass. Take FULL advantage of open lab, He's there and offers hands on help. Gives great feedback in a timely manner. Extra credit is NOT given (He if gives it DO IT) but if you do the work, go to open lab, and DO NOT PROCRASTINATE you will pass. I will take him for A&P II!
There's a weekly quiz and you have to study for it!
He's a really good teacher. i took him for A&P 1 and 2 and it was the best decision ever. I had As in all 4, AP 1 and 2 lab and lecture so i have a good opinion i think. He's very cmmunicative and gives good feeback and you'd actually learn a lot from him. Realy nice Professor.
Class is fun , his lab is kinda like lecture review . Hands on , team collaboration for pop quizzes . Study ! Study ! Study !
Lectures are very conversational, which makes question asking much easier. He doesn't just read off of the PowerPoint, he actually teaches and applies it to real-world situations. He grades a little hard, but he's one of the best professor's I've ever had.
Amazing, I can't express my gratitude to him.
He makes A&P as easy as it can could possibly be. Do understand that A&P is difficult and needs a lot of effort regardless of teacher. Great teacher, does a group quiz each week, so studying constantly is a must. He will sometimes quiz/test on minute things he's touched on so 100% focus is also mandatory. I 10/10 recommend nonetheless :)
Dr. Zachary Ellsworth is a PHENOMENAL professor! A&P has a ton of information to cover, but his power points and objectives helped me so much this semester. Lab quizzes every class, open lab for extra study time, class goes by quickly, except for bones lab (lol). Dr. Zach is a Great professor and person! Take him if you can, it's so worth it!
This class is amazing, Professor Ellsworth was the best lab instructor! Group quizzes each week, open lab hours, relatable, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! He is a favorite, so make sure you sign up for his classes as early as possible.
Take him!!! He's the best
Professor Ellsworth is by far my favorite professor. He's very kind and is always happy to answer any questions you may have! I took him for both A&P 1 and 2 Labs, and his classes consist of group quizzes, 3 assignments, and multiple choice exams. Do not miss out on his class! You won't regret taking him!
I literally love him so much. His lectures was AMAZINGGG and the expectations for the class are clear. This is best teacher/instructor/professor I've had my entire life, no jokes
Such a great professor! This is my second time having to take Anp2 lab because I failed the first time. He teaches to where you can actually understand. He is very helpful, super kind and provides extra credit. He does everything possible to make sure you pass his class, you just have to care enough to put the work in
Professor Zach is AMAZING. He's so passionate about what he teaches, and it shows! The structure of his class couldn't be any better or clearer. You'd have to be actively TRYING to fail. He explains what you're in for from the jump and is there to help you and guide you through it all. If you have the option to take his class, don't walk. RUN!
His labs are super interesting and fun! He's very knowledgeable and makes lab really enjoyable. I always looked forward to his class. The class is pretty easy it mainly consists of weekly group quizzes, two lab reports, a histology drawing project, a final, and an exam.
Professor Zac is an amazing Anatomy I & II instructor. He explains complex topics clearly and is always supportive in both lab and lecture. He genuinely cares about his students and goes out of his way to help. If you are serious about learning and want a teacher who truly cares about your success, I highly recommend Professor Zac.
professor Zach was the best. definitrly recommeded. i had people tellimg that A&P is hard but Zach made it eary for me and i so greatful for it he uses rel life example and made sure that his student understood the material. Getting A is easy plus he is ready to help you and goes above and beyonde but you as student you have to do your part.
he's one of the best professors I've had. He teaches very clearly and makes difficult concepts feel manageable if you're willing to put in the work. His lectures are well-organized, his exams are tough, but he provides plenty of support with homework assignments, literature reviews, and extra credit that really help cushion your grade.
The only legit prof. at clarkston it seems. Prof. Zach you are the oneee! Enjoyed your class sm. He's very accessible all the time, encouraging, enthusiastic ab his subject, helpful, motivating and much more. A nice guy. Take him! Tests will really test ur intelligence but apply yourself as u should n you'll be golden, babe. Five starssss
Took him for 2251 and both labs; engaging lectures, v passionate abt teaching, takes late work (w/ a penalty). Stayed at Perimeter another semester j to take A&P 2 w/ him. Quizzes & exams reflect lectures & objectives. Only con r the literature reviews (essays about a study you pick) but he gives plenty of time for it. Take him, you'll love him.
He gives good feedback on all the assignments given. He would also guide you through the literature reviews, histology assignments and other things, to put you on track and learn while doing them. He really cares about his students and wants them to do well
Zac is very personable, really knows his stuff, and will go the extra mile to help you succeed as long as you do your part and take your studies seriously. While A&P is not an easy A by any means, he gives you all the tools you need to succeed. Take him! He sets the bar high as a professor and I would recommend him to anyone.
The professor wants his students to pass. He gives many opportunities to improve your grades.
I am grateful for professor Zach. He is knowledgeable, understanding, and forthright. He aims to help you understand the material and pass the class. He also gives extra credit. If you don't pass it's totally your own fault
Professor Zac is outstanding! He makes difficult content digestible. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and provides extremely detailed feedback, especially on literature reviews. The exams are definitely challenging, so make sure to thoroughly review the presentations and use the homework assignments as study guides.
I learned more things with this professor than in my first professor's class. He loves what he does, and it shows. If you're a visual learner, I'd recommend his class. I took his summer class and it was great!
He made the material easy to understand. If you're a visual learner, he is the one for you. His Summer class was awesome, wish it was longer. He's a great professor, and he genuinely cares about his students. Make sure to do the work, though!
Zach is awesome and I would highly recommend taking his class. It was so fun and interesting. He cares about his students a lot and the material, and he's also funny. The lectures were interesting and the work was engaging. This class was one of my favorites I've taken!
Do not take A&P lab unless you take it with ellsworth. Easy A, as long as you put in the work. He sets up his class in such a way that you succeed. Studying for weekly quizzes helps you study for the midterm and final. So generous with extra credit. IDK how anyone can get below an A in that class. A&P is hard, but with him it's an easy A. Nice prof
Zac is a wonderful professor! He really cares about his students' understanding of the material and always keeps his class interesting. He is always happy to answer questions and explain things as many times as needed. His class made me fall in love with A&P and even more excited about my nursing career. You will not regret choosing him!
Best professor I have ever had, he really cares about his students. He makes the lectures easy to understand and sets you up perfectly for success. He made a difficult class easy to understand and really walks you through everything step by step. He is clear about grading and what he expects from you.
Professor Ellsworth is AWESOME hands down!!! I'm sadden I can't get in his 2252L.
If you want a dang near perfect professor.. just enroll. like dont question it, dont second guess it.. just enroll. by far one of the greatest teachers I ever had. I failed A&P I the first time I took it. but he made it my favorite subject. I am not even exaggerating. I am currently waiting for someone to drop from his A&P II so I can get in lol.
I highly recommend this Professor. I wish I would have had the privilege to have him for A&P 2
Great professor, he actually cares about your learning in his class. He gives so many opportunities for extra credit and easy As. He always has office hours available and he honestly helps a lot if you ask questions.
The best professor ever! answers all your questions, makes the class very fun to learn, cares about his students, and is always willing to teach if you don't understand something. One of the best, if not the best, professors I've ever had. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Professor Zach :)
When we say a professor, he is the the professor. He makes you to love the class. And when he explains it stays in your head.If any of you take his class and you fail or have a C it's you who's not interested or did not listen to him.He goes above and beyond for all his students on what you do not understand.
I got a B but he is literally one of the best professors I've ever had; he explains things in a way that is really interesting to understand but studying is crucial to getting a good grade
Dr. Zach is such an awesome professor, I wish he could follow me through my colligate career and teach my nursing courses; the way he explains things just make sense. He should write a textbook. He has quizzes before every class. Get to open lab, it'll make a difference in a C or A+. Dr. Zach is so Awesome, I'm glad I had him as a professor.
Mr. Ellsworth is a very great professor everything he teaches will be on the finals especially the pop quizzes so please pay attention to the mini quizzes and try to always go to open labs because he will make sure you understand the assignments. He is very understanding, and he cares for his student we need more professors like him .
Professor Ellsworth was a god send! This was my 2nd time taking A&P 1 after failing due to a not so great teacher and my lack of motivation. Ellsworth made coming to class worth it! He taught in ways that were easy to understand by applying ap concepts to real life scenarios. He gave extra credit as well. Best teacher GA State Perimeter has!
