Dr. Voras is a really good professor. He wants his students to succeed and will help in any way to make this possible. His lectures may not be the most interesting, but they are very related to the test. There is only one homework assignment per week and its not bad at all. He cares a lot about his students and is a really nice guy overall.

I would take his class again in a heartbeat. He is kind and understanding towards his students. Put in your best effort and do the work and you will pass. I couldnt recommend him enough for CHEM 100. He does an amazing job explaining the lectures and presents labs in an understanding way.

Professor Voras is absolutely amazing! He is such a nice man and a fantastic teacher, i have never had a teacher that makes hard material so easy to understand. I would give him 10/5 stars if it allowed me to. I would highly recommend taking his classes, he is so helpful and kind!

Dr. Voras is a fantastic teacher, I would never have done as well as I did without his help. Multiple practice exams to study from, weekly Homework with an optional 100 questions HW for a grade boost at the end of the semester. Easy to reach through email or office hours, which I strongly suggest you use. If you do everything then you will be fine.

He's super nice and understanding. If you have questions he answers emails really fast and his reviews for the exam are helpful. He gives out graded homework once a week it can be challenging but does help to prepare for the exam. Chem is never an easy class but I felt that he made it easier to understand because he was so easy to reach out to.

Professor Voras is a wonderful professor. The weekly homework can be challenging, but he holds office hours to help the students achieve the best grade on the homework. His lectures are thorough, easy to follow, and make a difficult course extremely manageable. I really enjoyed his teaching and I recommend him to anyone. He's very willing to help!

One of the best Professors I have had at West Chester. Easily accessible outside of class and really works with students who are struggling. Creates clear presentations and notes. The harder you work the better the grade. Not a fan of chemistry, but this teacher makes it a lot easier to understand.

Very well structured course. The outlines and power points make it easy to follow along, and it is clear that the professor puts a lot of thought and time into student understanding. You are going to have to work hard to do well in any chemistry course but Dr. Voras is very accessible and accommodating. Highly recommend this professor for CHE103.

Professor Voras really cares about his job and his students success. He answers quickly to emails and is very helpful during office hours. I did not use the textbook for this class. He has homework every week and a test every couple of weeks. At the end of the semester there are huge extra credit points up for grabs. Just an overall great guy.

One of the best lab professors I have ever had. He is so nice and you can tell he really cares for his students. I've never had a problem with reaching out with questions or with help in the lab. Definitely take him for CRL 104!!!

I usually don't like chemistry but for some reason the way he thought the class I really enjoyed coming to class and learning about the material. He always has a positive attitude. Dr. Voras is the BEST professor I have ever had. I had to retake chem after taking no credit with another professor. He makes the lectures super easy to understand, gives packets, holds review sessions before exams & lets you have a notecard, & drops your lowest exam, homework, and lab grade! If you have a choice, take Dr. Voras, he is amazing!

Prof. Voras is a really good professor. I don't love chemistry but he made it bearable and I felt like I could grasp it. Tests are fair and so are the labs and homework. If you put in the right amount of work you will be fine. Voras is super understanding and is very helpful when a student is confused.

Dr. Voras was the first professor I've had that actually made chemistry make sense. The note handouts he has are very clear and allows us to have a notecard for our tests. He is a very good professor, really sweet, and made learning about chem enjoyable. I would take another class with him if I could!

What I liked the most about this class and him was how straight forward a lot of the content was in this class. The notes in lecture were super easy to follow and the labs were very straightforward!

I've had Voras for both lab and lecture and he is by far my favorite professor. He is soft spoken and very easy to talk to. In class he is easy to talk to, and he always made labs fun. I would highly recommend him to anyone able to take him!

Dr. Voras is an awesome professor! Take a lot of notes in class and review material each week. He goes over all of the exam material in class with a lot of detail. His homework assignments are long, but if you give yourself enough time, it's easy to follow. If I didn't understand something, he was easy to reach and answered all of my questions

Dr Voras is by far one of the better chem professors at wcu. He passionate about what he does, and really tires to break down topics for students to understand. He also has assignments put in place so the class is not too test heavy. He overall cares and wants his students to well.

Even though I did not do as well in this class as I'd hope, that is on my part. Overall Voras is a great teacher, very passionate and is willing to help you with anything you are confused about. He gives you guided notes which help a lot for the exams, and even practice exams. I'd say take him over anyone else for 103.

Dr. Voras is an amazing professor. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and he is very knowledgable about what he is teaching. He gives you plenty of resources that will help you study and get a grasp on what will be on the exams as well as the final ACS exam. He makes the harder subject matter easier to deal with. Dr. Voras is Amazing!! I did CHE104 in the summer and he made the class so manageable even at such a fast pace. He was always available and very easy to talk to when you have questions. His tests can be a little tricky so make sure you genuinely know how to do the homework and if not ask him for help.

Took CHE 104 (lecture) with Dr. Voras over the summer and had a very positive experience. He prints out the slides and his lecture style is easy to follow. Very helpful and understanding if you come to him with questions about the lecture OR the lab. Great guy. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Voras is amazing! I took chem 100 in the fall, and overall the class was straightforward and easy to follow. It's clear Dr. Voras wants his students to do well, and he is very easy to reach either by email or during office hours if you don't understand something. I highly recommend him to anyone taking a chem class.

He is a very nice professor and offers you extra credit going into every exam. He always provides you with a lot of other grades in the grade book that are very easy and can boost your overall grade. Lastly, his exams were extremely easy and only required a minimal amount of studying.

We had 1 homework assignment a week, our longest lab was 30 minutes, and we could drop our worst exam score. You don't have to take the final if you like your grade and haven't dropped an exam. He offered 5% extra credit per exam. You are allowed 1 note card with whatever you want to be written on it per exam. He truly was a great professor.

I loved this class! Usually, I hate chem, but the lectures were formatted really well and easy to understand. Dr. Voras gives an opportunity for a 5% curve on every exam and there were weekly homework assignments. The labs were also super interesting and relatively short so they help visualize the material and boost your grade!

Dr. Voras takes the time to help his students to understand concepts they may be having trouble with. He made the material extremely easy to understand.He also gave students plenty of extra credit opportunities for each quiz and made the labs interesting and fun.If you are like me and are not usually good at chem this class is a good fit.

Professor Voras was great honestly his lectures were easy to understand, he gives you a packet for every chapter and does the notes with you. He is a very respectful person and always so nice when you need to ask a question he makes you feel comfortable asking questions. Dr Voras is a very good Chem professor. His tests can be a bit hard and the class is quite test heavy so definitely be prepared for that. However, he gives many extra credit opportunities. He is willing to help if you have questions.

Attendance was not required but is definitely super helpful, I think it would be hard to do well without going to class. There are several extra credit opportunities before every exam which was very helpful. I think that looking at the textbook is helpful.

He was by far my favorite teacher last semester and I'm taking him again for CHEM 104. He will go above and beyond to help you understand the material and truly cares about his students. Gives amazing lectures and tons of opportunities for extra credit. I highly suggest you take him for a chem class, you will not regret it.

Dr. Voras was my favorite professor last semester! I'm taking him again for CHE104. The lectures are easy to follow, and he makes complex concepts/math easy to understand. He really cares about his students, there are lots of extra credit opportunities. The exams can be tough, but there are review sessions and lots of resources to study from.

Although I had my mental health dip last semester, his lecture materials and lectures overall have helped me significantly with retaking this class. I would be more than willing to have him as a professor again.

Dr. Voras was great! For the prelabs, it is usually just 3 questions and he just wants to see effort, and you will get full credit. For lab summary he pretty much walks you through the answers, and if you ask him to explain it and he will basically tell you what to write. His labs are also pretty quick, I am never there for longer than an hour.

Best chem professor at WCU. Hands out a a packet with practice problems and fill in the blanks for every new lesson which makes note taking easy.

I had him for CHE 103 & 104. The class is organized very well on D2L. After each class, he puts the lecture slides online so you can view what was done in class. He also gives lecture handouts that you can complete. He may do pop quizzes for extra credit, and he usually gives extra credit opportunities for every test. He sets you up to succeed!

Dr Voras taught Chem104 very brilliantly. He used to upload the lecture slides which made the huge difference while studying. He is an outstanding Professor who had a strong grip on Chem104. Chem 104 was a bit challenging but he taught us it with full details and also used to give us a handful of examples for the clarification.

Your opinion on this class relies on how good you are at chem. I don't recommend this class for people who struggle with chem. I'm not the best and the material went by faster than I could grasp it. I wish there was more focus on teaching formulas, not just practice problems. That being said he is extremely nice and offers many resources for help.

10/10 chem prof i always struggled in this subject and i took dr voras for che100 and it was just fabulous. if u rlly do try the rest is easy he gives extra cred and u get a cheat sheet on tests. i personally believe this class is great if u need a chem gen Ed fulfilled.

Voras was easily the best professor I have ever had in my career at West Chester. His class was super easy, however, I still found that I learned a lot in his lectures. He made Chem actually interesting which is something that is hard to do. When I visited him during office hours he was super helpful. Do yourself a favor and take his class.

Great professor and tons of extra credit. Attendance is not mandatory and this class is super easy to take to get your chem gen-ed out of the way. SO easy; I did not score bellow a 100% on a test and you can drop 1 test.

I extremely enjoyed Professor Voras as he was a very great professor for class and lab. His lectures were easy to follow. He created a worksheet for everyone to follow along which helped me tremendously. If you needed anything from him, he's very easy to email and receive help from. Professor Voras is very easygoing and willing to help everyone.

Definitely recommend Dr. Voras for any course. He understands that the course is an intro level, and does not make it hard. attendance is not mandatory, but I really feel like I only got an A because I attended every lecture. Lots of extra credit given! lowest exam dropped, and you are allowed to use a index card with handwritten notes on exams.

Great professor, as long as you go to labs and lectures you'll get a good grade in the class. Gives lots of opportunities for extra credit on exams, they don't long to complete either. Labs take at max 30 mins and are graded for completion. Highly recommend taking this class to complete gen ed.

Loved having Dr. Voras as my professor! Gave tons of Extra Credit and classes were easy to follow with the handout he provides! Classes were not mandatory. You are also able to drop the lowest test grade. Labs were fun and easy as well!

Dr. Voras was hands down the best professor. His lectures are not mandatory, however I would go to all of them to understand each unit fully. He gives a lot of extra credit and I never lower than a 98 on exams. I totally recommend him!

Dr. Voras is a very kind professor. I had him for the HON 314 lab. His labs were easy and usually always end an hour early. His labs are only once a week.

I had Dr. Voras for Che 103 & 104. He is amazing & knowledgeable! The material is hard but if you put the time/ effort in you'll pass. He's always willing to give time outside of lectures to further assist with the material. His lectures are informative, as they create a study guide that you will use for exams. He offers alot of extra credit aswell

All exams were able to have a cheat-sheet, very nice guy, homework due once a week but you have three attempts at it. He was very easy to get in contact with, LOTS of extra credit opportunities, labs were very simple.

3 exams, online quiz homework's, and lab once a week, the final exam is optional. Labs are very quick and you just need to show up to get the A. He's very easy- going and allows a notecard every exam. This class was least stressful for me. I would definitely recommend Professor Voras!

Dr. Voras is a must take if you're taking chemistry or need a chem requirement. Lecture are easy to follow and tests are very easy. He lets you use a cheat sheet for all exams and the exams are mostly definitions so you can easily write them down on the cheat sheet and get an A on the exams. Labs are graded on completion and are very easy to do.

There are 4 exams total (including the final), that you can use a note sheet you make, and the lowest score gets dropped. I would definitely recommend this course and Dr. Voras.

The lectures were very easy to follow and Voras went into great detail on every topic discussed. Lecture attendance was not mandatory but very helpful in understanding the course content. Lab attendance is mandatory but they were fun and never went longer than 30 minutes. Professor Voras is very understanding and a great professor.

Dr. Voras is very nice and very passionate about chemistry. He explains the material well and answers questions in detail. There are four exams (drops the lowest one) and ten homework quizzes. We could use a cheat sheet for every exam, and he provides extra credit. Labs are straightforward and interesting. Definitely recommend for science GenEd!

Really great professor! Chem is a hard subject and he made it as easy as possible for us. He teaches very well, is very understanding, and cares about his students a lot. I recommend him for everyone.

Dr Voras is very nice and a good professor, but I did not like how he structured his notes. He does well going step by step in the math (chem2 is math heavy), but I did not understand the concepts behind it. The extra credit was annoying since it was through the online textbook and wasn't like the problems on the exam, but it was a generous amount.

Getting a good grade in Dr. Voras's class takes work, but it is completely attainable. My best advice is to go to PLI, do all extra credit, ask questions during lecture, and redo his homeworks and outlines to study for exams. He really cares that his students understand the content and provides many resources for students to help them suceed.

Dr. Voras has a gift in the classroom. He is very well organized and lecture is great. Dr. V is very accessible outside of class, gave us tons of resources and every opportunity to master the material and succeed. He roots for your success but ultimately our destinies are in our own hands. I learned so much. I highly recommend this professor!

Genuinely never had a professor that cares about students success so much. His tests are exactly like the homework and lecture handouts, and lectures are easy to focus on and keeps me engaged. I haven't missed any of his classes. The lab that goes along with his class (che100) was very do-able and not dragged out.

He has a ton of resources if you start to fall behind and he also gives alot of extra credit. I took his 8am class and was able to stay awake because of how engaging he is when teaching! I will say that chemistry is hard but he makes it seem easy! I am sooo glad I had him because he made me like chem!!!

Really good at explaining hard topics and doesn't make you feel stupid at all when asking questions. Made me actually sorta like chemistry
