Without a doubt my mostfavorite professor at DePaul. Cared about the students a lot. I have never seen students work as hard in any other class as they do for him.

Interesting class, great teacher. Material is useful and he makes it fun. Amazing part was that he memorized student names within the first 5 minutes of class and there were at least 45 students in class!

WOW!!! Never had a class where a teacher recieved an appluase at the end of the quarter. The course is interesting and the project is hard but he is there 100% to help you. THE BEST IN DEPAUL!!!!

Professor Iqbal is the best Professor I've ever had at DePaul. You walk away from his class really absorbing the information. He constantly encourages questions and is willing to answer your question no matter how many times you ask him. He has an excellent teaching style and I recommend him.

This guy is so funny. He is down with east coast west coast hip hop. I love that man! He makes you work very hard, but you learn alot. BE PREPARED to partcipate in class, so do the readings and they will help you on the tool summaries. He counts participation. 4 shortpapers/presentation/final paper.

This class is pretty demanding, but the teacher is awesome! No tests, just tool summmaries (which are time consuming), a huge group project, and a takehome final. Take this class if you really want to learn something.

This class may be almost twice as demanding as the average class, but you get 10 times as much out of it. Definately take Zafar, he's a great teacher and he created MKT 315 himself, so you're getting it from the source.

Being an alumni of DePaul I can seriously tell you that Professor Iqbal was the best professor I had at DePaul. His class is extremely demanding but you will never learn as much in any of your other classes. Marketing will begin to make sense to you after this class.

I just took this class in Fall 08 and Zafar is awesome. You do have to work a little harder in the class but you learn so much its unbelievable!! You would be crazy if you did not take him!! Zafar was fantastic. Although I found the coursework to be difficult and sometimes dry, he made me understand it and made it bareable. His assignments were relevant and there was no busy work. Here is the deal, Zafar truly cares about his students. The work is hard, but not impossible. Do the work, show up, show interest, and you will do good. He is willing to go an extra 1000 miles for his students.

Dr. Iqbal is the best professor I've ever had in both undergrad and graduate. The course is discussion based and you feed off of your other classmates. Homework/presentations are all group work so choose your group carefully! Zafar is always willing to help and is very responsive to emails. Fantastic course, wish he taught more.

Prof Iqbal is the best prof at DePaul (as the rest of these posts will prove). He is brillant when it comes to business models and carachterizing businesses. The class is a lot of group work (it's a killer he warns you). Don't take more than one other class the same quarter as 540. The group presentation is a great learning experience.

His sustainable business models class should be a requirement for graduation. I also took his analytical tools for marketers course, and spent 2 weeks with zafar and 14 other students in India on an international business seminar. So yes, I recommend taking a course with him if you can! He is a great educator and cares alot about students!

This class is really great. You can learn useful marketing tools from zafar. Also, it takes you some times to work hard on the homework but you can leaned a lot from it. MKT534 includes 4 individual projects, one group presentation and a final exam.

Amazing Professor

Professor Zafar Iqbals MKT250 course by far has been one of the most impactful classes I have taken at DePaul University. His passion for education and the guidance he offered each one of his students was truly inspiring and motivational. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in a career in marketing.
