She is a great teacher and very fair. She has a great sense of humor. Do the homework and you will get an A. Would take her again!
Extremely easy Prof. I would strongly recommend for anybody that wants an easy A. However, if you really ned to know the material, I would suggest a different prof. She gives study guides that are EXACTLY the same as the test. If you do not get an A then you are not trying at all. Great personality and is always willing to help students.
If you want an easy A and nothing more, take her Intro to Econ class. HOWEVER, if you actually want to learn something about economics, STAY AWAY!! I learned more about economics in 2nd grade.. waste of my time and money !
She is the EASIEST teacher i have ever had!!! Your will learn and have a good time in her class and as long as you show up you will get an A!!!
Just show up and participate. Tests are fairly easy, but your gonna need to do several "current events" and online discussions. Good teacher if you want an easy grade. Not sure I would take her if you are planning on a economic field.
She does not have a ability to teach.
Took ECON online with her. Easiest class in the world. Textbook use was almost none, but there was a decent amount of busywork. Don't expect to learn anything however. Tests and quizzes are common sense, final paper is as easy as you want to make it.
Good Teacher
The easiest professor I have ever had. She literally creates a study guide, gives you the answers, and that is the test. The only other grade is a group project that she grades super easy on. I would definitely recommend her.
Hate this class with a passion. Its a good thing that i took ECON at another school our I would be out of luck on the FE. She just rambles on about taxes and her kids private school and never covers anything of signifigance.
GREAT PROFESSOR. she knows her stuff. She creates her own study guides for the chapters. then goes over the study guide in class to make sure u have the correct answers. test question more or less come from the study guides. she will rearrange test questions, so they are not exactly the same.final project is large chunk of final grade.
I really needed an online class like this. I was online every night doing my homework. I read the chapters in the book, used her study and done well. I highly recommend her. The only drawback is she is very slow to return your grades. Which kept me stressed out since this was my first online classes. Again, take her if you can!
I took this class online during the Summer. The course load is extremely heavy. Lots of reading from the text and responses to online questions. Tests were straight forward and easy. My only concern is that most of the work we turned in was not graded...term paper, final, class responses(no scores were posted). Easy course, lots of busy work.
Extremely easy. About half of the test is from the study guides, the other half is pretty much common sense. She kind of jumps around from topic to topic, so she can be a little hard to follow sometimes, but at least she's not a completely dry, boring teacher like a lot of Econ professors. If you don't get an A it's your own fault.
Take her for ECON. She is hard to understand at times and class is sometimes hard to motivate yourself to go, but you won't regret it. You should get an A. If you show up to class she is willing to help, even on tests. He helped on the final exam even. Class gets very repetitive at times, which sucks, but oh well. Very nice and helpful professor.
I LOVE Kelani! Even though she had a lot of tragedies and everything this semester, she is a nice professor. Her material is straight forward and as long as you study, you should study. She curves grades if no one made a 100 and even curves your finals. She will let you make up something if you have a legit excuse, but make sure to email her first.
Pretty straight forward class. A lot of HW for an online class which made it pretty hard, BUT the exams are about 50% the study guide that you can use on the exams, seeing that its not proctored for onliners. She also curves final grade :) Overall 9.5/10.
Very passionate teacher. She has a slight Turkish accent but she is understandable.
She knows the content and is helpful. The class really isn't hard you just have to do some reading.
I took her for Global Economics for KSU core requirements. She does have a thick Turkish accent, I personally can get pass accents, but if you can't don't get her. She only had four exams for Global Economics, which are verbatim of her study guides. Attendance wasn't mandatory, she lectured off of PDFs, and she uploaded those online. Good luck.
Professor Zeynep Kelani is the best without any hesitation, I strongly recommend her for you guys. she give 4 exams ( final exam is same as exam 4 ), just study the study guide and the powerpoint. No homework. she give a lot of extra points if you participate in the class. I would love to retake her again even though I made an A in the class.
Mrs. Kelani is such a great teacher! She is very energetic about the class and she involves the students(she used extra credit points to have the students participate but it was a great idea!) I would take any other class she has! Anyways, take her class & attend class, she'll give extra credit to those students sometimes.
Your grade is based off of 4 tests only. I got high B's on the tests, but she gave me so much extra credit, I ended up with an A. Just show up for class and answer a question and she will add 2 points to your test. Tests are easy if you study the online material. You do NOT need the book. She also curved my overall grade based on the highest.
Prof. Kelani gave energetic and thorough lectures intertwined with entertaining humor. Intelligent respectable professor. 4 curved tests worth 25% each. No assignments. Enjoyable and clear lectures. Economics questions in class allowed and welcome. The KSU book not a great read, but everything you need to know on the test is in her online outlines.
Professor Kelani is obviously in love with teaching, and it shows with her class. She cares about you retaining and understanding and is very understanding. I respect and admire the way she teaches a lot. Definitely would take her class again!
The grade in Kelani's class is based on 4 tests. that's it. I got high B's on them but she gave me so much extra credit if I just answered one question during each class. That raised my grade to a 95. Do not get the book, study the power points and the practice questions which can all be found on D2L and you will get an A for sure. Easy A
She is amazing and really fights for the education of her students
Kelani's class was pretty straight forward. You definitely don't need to spend money on any of the books listed on the syllabus. Many of the exam questions come directly from the study guide, so be sure to study them. Even if you don't do that well on an exam she gives 2 points of extra credit for questions you answer in class.
Her class is very straightforward. Almost all the questions come directly from the study guides, so I would recommend you to quiz yourself over the study guide everyday leading to the test. She does give extra credit for a correct answer(s) in lecture, so print the notes out or use a laptop for this purpose. Do not buy the books on the syllabus.
Didn't buy a book, didn't need to. Everything is available online. I had to miss class for military training, took a test before I was out of class, reviewed the study guides online, and took a test when I came back. She is very accessible outside of class, you just have to talk to her. Take this class with HIST 1112, they go hand-in-hand.
Professor Kelani is amazing, and makes Econ into a MUCH better experience than other teachers. Her tests are verbatim from her notes which you can print off of D2L, so don't bother buying the books, they won't help you as much as her notes. She gives tons of extra credit every day of class just for answering questions, and gives curves. Take her!
She is amazing. Everything said about her is true. If you fail, it's your own fault. Study the study guides and read over her lecture notes.
The lecture and notes are straightforward and is information directly related to the exams.
Super nice lady, loves Econ and Capitalism and all her lectures are online. I've been to a total of 3 lectures and I've gotten A's on every test. Only 4 tests, easy questions, all very basic Econ. If you put in a few hours of good studying you'll be set. I wouldn't take her again just because she can ramble, but generally a good prof!
Theres honestly no need to attend class. She has good lectures and if you attend them you will do really good, but if you dont attend them she posts very helpful things on d2l to teach you. I havent gone to lass in weeks and still make A's on her tests because of the things on d2l. Your only grades are the tests. She has a heavy accent as well.
Professor Kelani is a good choice for Econ. Her study guides and notes online are extremely helpful on test. The way she explains things to her students shows that she cares. She has a vibrant personality and is very upbeat which makes it harder to fall asleep in her class. That being said, you should attend her class even though it isn't required.
DO NOT BUY BOOK. She posts notes & study guides online. You do not have to attend class, but she is such an amazing lecturer, just going to class will get you an A. ATTEND REVIEW SESSIONS the class before the test. She knows you're taking it for gen ed and makes it easy to understand. Honestly cares about her students 10/10 would recommend.
Just study the study guides for an easy A. I showed up maybe 10 times the entire semester and got a high A in the class. DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK
I went to every class she had and got an A. Her tests are exactly like her study guides, so it's easy to do great on all the tests. There is no homework or extra credit, only 4 tests. I really recommend her.
Professor Kelani is such an amazing professor and is super passionate about what she is teaching. I would take her for every class if I could. Your grade is based on 4 exams, 40 multiple choice, nothing else. Don't buy the book, her notes and study guides are amazing. Study her notes on D2L and the study guides and you will do fine.
Kelani doesn't take attendance, does not require a textbook, and gives study guide questions that are exactly the same as the test. Easy A, funny teacher, bare minimum of work... Take this class or you'll regret it.
This class was super easy if you look over the study guides. They are just like the tests. Do not buy the book. She can be difficult to understand at times but as long as you study her study guides- easy A!
Attendance is not required, I only went to class three times outside of taking tests and I got an A+. The tests are ridiculously easy, just study the online notes an hour before class. She tells you to get the book but puts it all online so don't get it!
4 Tests, final was not cumulative. I didn't go to class and studied the study guides the night before the test and got an A. Her accent is pretty thick, but she posts detailed notes online and study guides that correspond directly to the test. She made the material very easy to learn. 100% recommend!
There are only four tests and there is no final exam. Tests are not cumulative and are based off her study guides and class notes.
Great professor and highly suggest taking this class before Micro and Macroeconomics. I took the class after micro and macro because KSU changed requirements and I recognized everything that was taught. 4 tests that are really easy if you study the study guides.
She's energetic. If you fail, you did not even try. The tests were very similar to the study guide. Go to the review classes. Go to all classes out of respect. It won't hurt. I didn't like that she tried to go over time sometimes, but it's ok cause she made everything easy. If I payed attention I would've gotten more than B's on my tests
Okay just being honest. She's a caring teacher, she believes in all her students. Her class is super easy if and only if you study the study guide precisely. Read all her lecture notes, you WILL PASS. she don't curve grades or do make up test. She do have a thick accent but after awhile you will understand her. ABSOLUTELY DONT BUY THE BOOK. Easy
Her class is really simple. You don't have to show up to class since she puts notes online, but I would suggest you go because she explains the notes in class. You do need to study if you want to get a good grade in the class. She's a great professor. She's very energetic. She has an accent, but you can still get what she's saying.
Professor Kelani is very caring. Make sure to study the study guides .
Econ 1000 with Professor Kelani may be the easiest class I have ever taken. If you study the practice quizzes and review questions for an hour before each test, you should get As on everything. No need to buy the textbook or take notes either. She puts the notes online. Her commentary is often really funny. I definitely recommend Professor Kelani.
I think this has been one of the easiest classes I've taken in my life! It's only 4 tests, no book needed, and if you study lecture notes and material a few hours before the test you'll get an A in the class. Sweet lady also! Highly recommend.
The class consists of 4 tests, she will spoon feed you everything you need to make an A. She has great lectures and posts all the material youll need to know for the tests online. Dont hesitate to take her class.
Kelani's online class was super easy. I didn't have to read the text, I just reviewed all materials she posted online (study guides, videos, etc.) and got an A with little worry. The only thing I disliked was that it's exam heavy, so one week you'll take a quiz then the next week all you'll have is a longer test over the same material.
Took her online course. Although it is an easy A, she prepares you well for your following economics courses. Didn't need to read the textbook. She provides all materials you need to prepare for the exams.
Easy class. Willing to curve test grades but never did because there were always 100s. The online class only lasted just over half the semester
Good professor but doesn't make her lectures very clear. Easy class for what it is though. She will curve grades but typically doesn't because so many people make 100s. She does give FANTASTIC study guides though and that's really the only thing you need to pass the class.
Easy enough.. 3 exams and a final no quizzes, no homework, no extra credit, no attendance. Just do well on the exams and do well in the class. (If you go to class it can be helpful but I went to class only for exams and got a high B without studying)
took last summer for a short semester class and it was impossible. It is not a condensed version of the class. Tests every week that are impossible. Get ready to read and do long discussions every few days. So much work over the summer. Studied hard and barely pullled a B.
I thought this class was going to be easy but man was I wrong! Her tests are quite difficult and if you don't watch every online video and take notes, you will never pass the class. The classroom version is so much easier. Beware!!,!
Pretty much an easy A if you take this class with her. I pretty much did nothing and still walked out of the class with an A. There are tests every other week, but if you literally just do the study guide a few hours before the test, you'll get an A. It's only 4 tests and she doesn't drop any so be on your A game for each test.
This was a 10 week class and very easy! She gives amazing lectures and a ton of resources on D2L to get an A. I showed up everyday but only paid attention on the review days where she basically goes over the test, just changes the names and numbers. You are only graded on 4 tests and the final is not cumulative.
You have tons of reading. Online quizzes give you on a few seconds per questions, so you can't look up any answers. Hardest online summer class I have taken for a supposedly simple 2 hour class. Do NOT take in the summmer.
One of those 4 test classes so if you bomb one say goodbye to your A. Honestly not that difficult of a class if you study a little.
Professor Kelani is an AWESOME teacher! Review study guides, do practice tests, and email with any questions. Best class ever! I didn't purchase a textbook because professor provided everything needed in weekly study guides. If you don't get an 'A' in this class that just means you didn't READ.
Professor Kelani is great , you usually go by and read these and dont know whether or not to take the class because everyone might not have the same difficulty level and everyone might not think the same things are easy, but im an average student , i literally ever study and this class was a breeze , i promise you wont regret it.
She really cares about Economics and is very knowledgeable. You can tell she really wants her students to succeed. She gives you everything you need; great study guides, scantrons, test reviews right before the test (only during summer). You dont have to come to class but how she explains concepts really does help and its the polite thing to do.
Professor Kelani was an absolute hoot! I took for a summer class and although the classes were long, she made them enjoyable. The tests weren't hard at all if you went to the lectures and listened. She did a review guide right before the test was almost exactly like the test. Would definitely take her again.
She is so easy. There are 4 tests and 5 quizzes. She gives you practice questions which are similar on the test. Don't need a text book, she provides summarized notes. If you do the study questions, u will get an A!!!
She's awesome, would 100% take her again. Provides excellent notes and study guides. Read the book and read the study guides and you should get an A.
I didn't like her at first because she was big into heavy lectures and her accent made her really hard to understand. I also had to go to the Marietta campus which was a pain, so it already put me in a bad mood. I found out later in the year, Prof. Kelani is a very nice lady who helps you review for the tests. Make sure you show for test day.
This class is legitimately hard to not make an A in. I found that reading the textbook was really helpful but you can definitely get by without it so long as you never skip class and take really good notes. 4 tests are your only grades and no final
Easy A. You definitely can pass with an A without the book. If you at least show up for the review and test days, you'll pass. Do all the chapter reviews and exam reviews, they're similar to the tests. You will only get the answers for the exam reviews the day before the exam, so show up to those.
This professor is the type that really grows on you. Her Turkish accent is laughable, but you come to find that she is good at teaching. You can honestly skip all of her classes and show up for the tests if you review the study guide. If you attend class you get the answers for the study guide, but they are posted in GroupMe regardless.
Was extremely rude about my SDS accommodations and the email I sent her asking what I missed in class due to registering late. Rude. Uncompromising. Not at all understanding.
Kelani is such an amazing person and professor. Her accent is not bad at all regardless of what people have said before. There are 4 tests and that is all. so every test is 2 and a half letter grades so it can be pretty scary. I barely got an A but for alot of people it was a "easy A". you probably don't need the textbook but go to class and study.
Prof. Kelani's class is not hard at all. Attendance isn't mandatory except on exam dates and she does not allow you to miss ANY tests no matter what so many students say she's not compassionate because of that. Whatever you do, do NOT buy the textbook because you won't use it. She literally gives you notes for every class.
Prof. Kelani is awesome. She made her test pretty straightforward and she cares about her students' success. I took her during Summer so it is pretty cram because of one day lecture and one day test in a week, but it is pretty doable. As long as you attend the lecture and study, the test is a breeze. We had a review test right before taking test.
Her summer classes go by pretty fast because its only a 5-week class (even thought you sign up for an 8-week). At first it might seem overwhelming that you have one day for lecture and the next day you got a test but as long as you go over the stuff at home and attend class, there is no way you won't make below an A. She's really good.
She is really nice and cares about the success of her students. You want to make sure you review what she posts before going to class because something her accent gets in the way of understanding certain things but its not too bad. If you don;t understand something she will go out of her way to make sure you do. Only 4 tests but very nice prof.
Definitely recommend taking 1000 over summer. Although the lectures and notes cover a lot of material, the actual tests are practically identical to the review- session practice test. I found it helpful to read the textbook and lecture notes prior to class. Show up to her review sessions and go over the practice exams/notes and you will make an A.
She is very professional and unforgiving when it comes to excuses, but it is well deserved because she makes it extremely easy to ace her class. I took her over the summer and was comfortable throughout that I would make an A. She goes over the study guide, which is essentially the test, right before the test so all you have to do is listen.
Having taken upper sections of ECON before taking this class; it made the class that much easier. Even though this class was taken over the summer we had tests every week. What made this class easy was that she would post her lecture notes online and a study guide. Every test day she would review the study guides before taking the test! EASY A
Summer course Professor Khelani is amazing. She is caring, funny, and WANTS you to pass her class. Attendance is NOT mandatory, but dont ask her for help if you didnt attend (she knows if you were there or not) She did not take attendance except for exam days. Exams are exactly like her lecture notes/exam prep on D2L. Just study the notes a LOT.
Professor Kelani was my first professor in college and I'm thankful she was. She's insanely nice and wants all of her students to get an A+. Highly recommend her. Just study the lecture notes online and you will be fine. I have very little economics background and pulled out a high A. TAKE HER.
Prof. Kelani was super sweet. Your grade is based off of 4 exams, she WILL NOT and I repeat WILL NOT drop your lowest grade so try your best to pass every exam with high remarks. If you go attend class when she does her review for the final exam you are guaranteed an A. I would DEFINITELY retake her class again.
Took her for econ 1000. Just do the study guides and show up for the tests and you'll be good.
Sets you up for success, gives study guides for each chapter, sends out plenty of reminders through email so that you dont miss any assignments!
Excellent Professor, I highly recommend her if you want an unstressful and easy-going class. Attendance is not mandatory and the textbook is not needed. The course is only graded on 4 tests. Study the material and it's an easy A.
You don't really need to show up to class. I basically only showed up on exam days. EASY A. Look over the study guide before the tests and you'll do fine. If you want to do better than fine, she posts lecture notes and powerpoints that you can look at, but that's not necessary. Only grades are 4 exams. Do not buy the book.
there are 4 tests- she gives extra credit sometimes. Her tests are basically the studyguides-i rarely went to class and I got an A
4 tests, that's all your grade. The tests are very straightforward though and are exactly like the study guides she gives. Very easy A. If you show up you probably won't have to study, if you don't show up you can study and still get an A. Textbook not required. Zeynep is also a great professor and loves what she does.
Super easy A. Very caring professor. Sends out plenty of reminders so you definitely wont miss an assignment.
Has a strict grading rubric and the deadlines are not negotiable. Other than that, this course isn't bad once you pick up on what is required again with grasping the material for quizzes and exams. I'd definitely take this Professor again.
I loved him! I had him online because of covid-19 and he was such a gem. Always left the sweetest comments on submitted assignments. His tests and quizzes are straight from the notes. He genuinely wants you to succeed. For example, he curved our first test a few points even though the average was a B bc he wanted "everyone to have a shot at an A!"
I took this course online. Prof. Kelani was very effective in providing the schedule, staying on top of making sure we get things done, and providing the important aspects to the course to help us absorb the important things and get a solid grade. Fair grader and easy to reach in email. I would absolutely recommend this professor to anyone!
Professor Kelani is highly organized, and the assignments are consistent throughout the semester. You know exactly what to expect from week to week. Lecture notes, study guides with answer keys, and practice tests are available for everything. You'd have to really try to fail this class!
Five quizzes make up one test grade - four unit tests. Each test is worth 20%. Print out the chapter study guide questions, and screenshot each of the questions from the practice test and you'll have 90% of the questions with the right answer for the test. The lectures are interesting (give by other profs), but it and the book are optional.
Professor Kelani is very pleasant, encouraging, and really wants you to succeed. For the online class I took 80% of the grade was based on 4 exams and the other 20% on weekly quizzes. If you read the study guide, you will ace the tests. Plus, for our class exams and averages are curved if no one gets an 100%. You can easily get an A in the class.
Pretty easy A. Read one chapter a week, quiz at end of week. Test every 3 weeks. Practice quizes and test before each one. Quizzes and test similar to pratice quizes/tests. 5 question short essays due with each test as well. Great feedback on these.
Every week has a quiz on the chapter. Then, you have an exam every three weeks to cover those. They are not cumulative. She is very sweet, gives PLENTY of reminders about deadlines, and doesn't overload you. Absolutely would take her again.
SWEETEST PROF EVER! Please take her. She hand-feeds you asnwers by giving you a practice test/quiz that is just like the real thing. Her tests aren't lock down either so you can have both open side by side. Use your resources and you're GOLDEN.
This class was super easy to comprehend, and the Professor made the content understandable. He truly cares about his students succeeding. There are a lot of lectures and notes to be taken. I highly recommend completing the study guides before each quiz and exam. Easy A if you do all the study guides!
Best professor I've had all year! You shouldn't miss anything in this class due to the constant reminders sent out throughout the week about deadlines. DO THE PRACTICE QUIZZES AND TEST AND YOU WILL PASS! Easy A, no lie.
Very easy class. Quiz every week, 4 or 5 exams. As long as you look at the study guides she posted or have taken econ before you will make a good grade.
Take her for macro!!
One of the easy courses!
TAKE HER. Only weekly quizzes, a few exams, and a few essays. Every answer can be found with resources if ya know what I mean... I got over 100's in both of the classes I have taken with her. Just trust me, she is the best and easiest teacher at KSU.
Easy A, recommend her!
One of the easiest Econ professors that I have taken!!
This prof is so sweet! Very consistent about reminders and always ends their emails with "Respectfully,". Weekly quizzes, four exams, and two "essay", which are really just short answer questions. The resources provided cover all the material and are not excessive. Don't buy the textbook, you won't need it. The perfect prof for summer.
one word, AMAZING. This class was SO easy, just make sure you print off her study guides and answer the practice questions. If I could give you one piece of advice, it would be to DO HER PRACTICE TESTS AND QUIZZES!! they are EXACTLY like the actual thing. She is genuinely so caring and supportive. 5 quizzes and 4 tests overall. No final :)
An amazing professor! I wound 1000% take her again. Professor Kelani was very organized and direct. One quiz due each week and a short answer activity due every few weeks. There are exams (no lockdown) every few weeks as well. This professor responded very quickly to emails and sent back grades super fast. I highly recommend.
I took this class in the summer, and this professor is willingly to help you if you are struggling. Its a Easy A and the test and quizzes are not lockdown or webcam. Theres a extra credit at the end of the semester.
Professor Kelani is a passionate and well-rounded professor who will give you every option to succeed. During the course period, the class took four tests and five quizzes. She will give you a plethora of resources online and gave practice examinations to ready yourself for her tests and quizzes. I would highly recommend this professor!
I ended with an A and that's because professor Zeynep is good at explaining the material. She also gave extra credit for showing up to class every now and then. A textbook is required for the course, but honestly you don't need it, because she gives more than enough material to study for the exams and quizzes. Please take her if you can!
Miss.Kelani is a VERY interesting teacher. She is caring and HILARIOUS in her lectures . There are: - 4 exams - 5 quizzes She gives out practice exams every single time which helped me a lot. The only thing I would say is to make sure to do all the quizzes and exams. A 30 is better than a Zero XD. I have a B+ when I could have had an A.
Enjoyed this class! The professor was very caring and wanted everyone to do well in the class. Every effort was made to ensure that students were aware of deadlines and approaching due dates throughout the semester. There was a couple of short answer writing assignments due as well as multiple choice tests and a final.
She is so sweet, honestly a very easy class to take. The tests are very much like the study guides. You will do just fine! Please take her
Professor Kelani is a great teacher that is easily accessible outside of school. She gives prefilled lecture notes that are easy to follow when reading the textbook. She also gives practice for every quiz and test she gives. She has a couple of extra credit assignments as well. If you do all of her work, you shouldn't have a problem in this class.
Zeynep has a bit of an accent but I would totally recommend you take her. Just pay a little attention during the lectures and take notes on the review days and you'll do great. No make-up exams or quizzes but exams are open from 8am to 11pm and quizzes are open almost 36 hours. Final and Midterm are 60% of your grade and quizzes make up the rest.
Honestly this class was not hard at all. I could've gotten an A but I kinda slacked off lol. But as long as you take decent notes you can get an A. Tests and quizzes are fairly easy but they are the only grades you get and there aren't many quizzes and only two tests.
Attendance was not mandatory, and all the lecture notes get posted online. Professor Kelani is clearly passionate about what she teaches, and her lectures are interesting enough that it's worth attending. Tests and quizzes are pretty much the exact same as the study guides, and they make up pretty much your entire grade
This was a very easy summer course. The prof gives reminders often as to when things are due so if anything is submitted late its on you. Graded on quizzes and tests but they are not hard and definitely doable I wouldn't buy the textbook as there are powerpoints and notes, I passed with an A and didn't buy the textbook
10/10 would take again all quiz test online replies to emails quick
Grades 4 quizzes and 2 exams the entire 10-week course period (all online, no lockdown or anything like that, answers are all on the study guides she posts ahead of time). You can usually stay home on lecture days but she does offer MASSIVE extra credit for attending the final review. Overall easy 10/10, highly recommend her if you are laid-back.
Honestly an easy class, the resources provided helped a lot. 4 quizzes and 2 exams the entire 10-week course period (no lockdown, answers are all on the study guides). She offered extra credit for the mid term and overall course. Overall easy 10/10, highly recommend her if you are laid-back.
She ONLY grades on Tests. BUT her tests are in D2L, No lock down, and IT'S OPEN NOTES. TIP: Please do the practices exams because some questions on the exam are the same from the practice. Also, She very nice and really really sweet that she want her student to pass. Please take, her she the best ECON professor ever.
Graded from a few quizzes and 2 tests. All open notes and stuff, no lockdown. Even a couple of extra credit opportunities. Really good
great at explaining, great energy, simple quick course with a clear path to success. Course is undoubtedly unforgiving as there are few things graded and nothing is extended. But with the very light course load -no homework, a bit of reading that can be heavily supplemented by her lectures, and the easy quizzes I would strongly recommend her.
This was a very easy course. The class is based on 4 quizzes and 2 tests no lock down browser, and she gives you practice quizzes/tests for each one. The only downside to this class is that there are few grades but imo the benefits outweigh the cons. No homework, no discussion posts, no group projects. Its an overall easy class to pass.
Straightforward class with manageable exams and quizzes. Helpful study resources like practice tests and review sessions. unstuck study proved useful for quick prep. Overall, an easy A if you stay on top of the work.
Great professor! Class was very easy, lecture notes were posted online if you could not attend class that day (attendance is not mandatory). Practice quizzes and test that are exactly like the real quiz and test. There were only a few grades in the gradebook and there is no homework.
Easy class. Just read the book and you are good. She used lectures from a different professor, which weren't great, but they got the job done. No lockdown browser, no webcam. I am taking her again next semester for ECON 2105. Should be an easy A.
This class was really easy and it is laid out very well! You only have a few quizzes, and a midterm and final exam. The lecture videos are kind of long so be prepared, but other than that I recommend you take her! There is also extra credit
Such a good professor and class! So easy and straight forward. Take this class!!!!
She's so sweet. Makes the class very simple. I'm planning on taking her for Econ 2106. TAKE HER.
No lockdown browser for midterm or final. Only grades were 12 quizzes and the two exams. Extremely easy to pass class and an opportunity for extra credit to add 10 points on your overall grade. Take this professor is possible.
Amazing professor would take again. If it werent for her class I would have never met my wife.
Took her for an 8 am on Maritta Campus, she was very understanding if we were not in attendance due to it being early. All tests, midterm, and final online with no lockdown browsers. I will say slides are very loaded with information, so make sure you read over them on your own if you do not understand them during the lecture. I loved having her.
She posts the lecture notes and PowerPoint slides in case you miss class. There aren't really any grades outside of weekly quizzes and two tests, but everything is open note. It's an easy class with entertaining lectures, and she's very helpful if you have any issues.
Very fun class to take if you're going into economics. If not, its still very interesting coming from someone who doesn't care much for the subject. The lectures are great, the quizzes are easy, the tests are easy as well if you keep notes. She's very forgiving and will always help if you ask.
She's nice and always posts reminders for quizzes and exams. Just make sure to do them on time if you miss one, she can't help and doesn't want emails about it. Attendance isn't mandatory. All exams and quizzes are online, no cameras required.
Her class wasn't bad at all. 10 week course with lecture videos that went over information for each test. Plenty of extra credit opportunities and she drops lowest quiz grade.
Took her on campus class at 8am. All the tests are quizzes are easy and they aren't camera or lockdown browser. She usually gives you a couple days to do those tests as well. If you miss class, she posts all the notes online and they are very easy to follow. 10/10 teacher, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good class.
