Ok, she has an accent but it's not that bad. She is by far the easiest grader in the math dept. You can get the problem completely wrong and still get more than half credit(8/10). Her lectures are helpful and funny. No joke, She is actually acceptable.

Great teacher, very nice, gives clear notes, very helpful, and willing to explain over and stay after class to explain something if you don't get it. Gives homework every night, but doesn't collect. Do hw if u want to do well in class. Gives points for attempting problems on tests and quizzes.

This teacher is awesome. You will learn a lot in her class. I sill have my old quizzes at tests that I review sometime for my higher math class. She is very helpful and encourages her students to pass the class. Only 4 or 5 students dropped out of her class last semester. Very Easy Class!!!

She is very enthusiastic and teaches by doing tons of examples on the board. Her quizzes and tests are very clear and the class itself is very straightforward if you do the work. I really enjoyed taking her class.

Every helpful teacher. Her tests are extremely clear and straight to the point (that is, if you do your h.w., come to class with questions, and actually take notes). Shes always there on time and very willing to help you out if you ever get stuck. Again, the tests are EASY if you Practice from H.W. AND NOTES FROM CLASS!!!

took it as an internet course, as long as you do every problem and dont skip, the tests are EASY. the final is the EXACT problems from the three tests except with numbers changed.

This professor is, by far, the most helpful, and best of any I've had here at Pierce. She gives a lot of room for improvement and is easy-going with her grading. I was so sure that I was going to end up getting a B, what with my grades falling a bit towards the end, but she gave me the A! You'll learn A LOT from her. Highly recommended!

She is awesome! She's a funny, caring, smart person and if you just stay on top of the easy online HW and handle the easy weekly quizes you'll get out with an A. She drops the lowest score which is always a plus!

I am one of those people that just cant get math, but when she teaches i totally understand her. I have my first 'A' ever in a math class my first year in college. she definetly knows how to teach and is a wonderful person. she is always willing to help you more.

THis teacher is such a sweetheart. Very nice and helpful. She gives a lot of points on tests just for trying. I am not great at math, but she made it fun and easy. I LOVE HER!

I took Cal II with her. She was funny and really helpful. She takes some points off for a little mistakes, but this happens when you have only more than 90% in the test.

very nice teacher..explains all that's going to be on her tests..gives formulas clearly..funny..her voice is sorta annoying..but she is super nice and easy so it makes up for it..a test every week usually on tuesdays..i didn't even use my book just do the easy online homework and tht'll teach u alot + good notes=good grade

I don't want to judje about her, just we started the class with 55 students and we ended only with 14 students so you can imagine how she was, take her if you really love math and you are genius in math other wise don't go near her .she doesn't teach just solves books problems.you will learn nothing. you can find better prof than her.

My opinion may be different as I am an older student. Attendance is mandated by the college, get over it, you should be there anyway. Do your homework! Ask qurestions! She will meet with you in her office if you need help! You need to practice, practice. She's very nice. Want an easy class? Art appreciation.

Prof. Tabatabai made Calculus II a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The tests were challenging, but she was available to answer questions and took a day to review for each test. Do the homework, ask any questions you have, and you should do well. Strongly recommended.

seriously, I can't believe these comments about professor Tabatabaee!! As many people know, calc2 is even harder than calc3, but i didn feel so. all you need to do is to devote 3,4 hours in a week and do the h.w problems. for tests, review the quizzes. do so, not only u'll get an A, but u'll get 100 in the class. I do recommend her.

Shes an okay teacher. not bad, but she has a thick accent, willing to help any of her students. You just have to study every time when there is a quiz and an exam.

I had her in the beginning of spring 09 and she was replaced by a teacher not as great as she was. I know during that time she was going through a family crisis and because of that, maybe she isn't as good as she was before. She was very sweet and helpful. Quizzes and tests are easy if you do the homework and show up to class.

I took her online class in Fall and it was so easy. I ended up being at Pierce during the hours allotted to the class anyways so I'd sit in her class and do the homework on the computers. She always shows up for the class in case you need help and she's the biggest sweetheart!! The tests are kind of tricky but she'll always help you :]

Very effective teacher. She works out a lot of problems in detail and does not discourage questions. Her system of weekly quizzes is a blessing--you get credit for studying in advance, and then the test questions aren't a surprise.

Online class. Must only show up for 3 tests & final. Only have 2 average 65% on tests 2 pass. Easy 2 get 100% on online portion. At worst u will get a B. Also she's there every day so u can go in 4 tutoring. She's a great teacher who explains things completely. Every test has at least one xtra credit question. Math's hard but she makes it easier.

She is a really good teacher. She explains everything in great detail. If you don't understand something she will go over it again and again till you do. She encourages tutoring and offers her office hours for extra one on one help. She reviews problems from the previous nights homework and does review the sections on the test the day before.

Professor Tabatabai is very knowledgeable, and her lectures are interesting. HW, and exams are not difficult, However, I believe Calc I need to be span over longer period. Maybe instead of 5 hours lecture and some practice, it should be 3 Hours lecture and 4 Hours of practice, than, better understanding will be more achievable

I seriously went from hating math to loving it thanks to tabatabai. She kept me awake during class without coffee. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Professor Tabatabai is one of the best professors I've ever seen. She is very helpful, She knows her stuff. Try to get full credit for weekly quizzes. Professor Tabatabai is not your typical calc instructor. She will work you until you know integration like the back of your hand, but also go above and beyond to help you succeed. She is an extremely wise and approachable person, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Expect 3 tests, 11 quizzes (one of which is dropped), and a comprehensive final.

She is truly the best math teacher that is at pierce college. She's such a sweetheart I would take her class again in a heart beat! Tabatabai may see like she's this big tough little late but in reality she isn't she is always available in her office hours if needed. But be sure to do her homework!

Calculus is not an easy class and she does not offers extra credit, but is willing to help as much as you need. She is a reasonable person, she genuinely cares for the students. Gives a lot of homework, but if you do the homework the quizzes and exams are not a challenge.

Took her for Asap which combines math 115&125, I could say that class wasn't hard. The thing is you need to make sure you keep up with the homework she assigns online because it's a lot and can get overwhelming. And make sure you study for the exams( there's a total of 7, for 115 she drops one). She also takes attendance seriously so be careful!

If you want to understand math and pass to next level knowing the material, then have this professor. She's amazing. Addresses all questions. I emailed her weekends and she replies - Really caring and amazing!! She makes class go over her lectures during the class and checks one by one to make sure you got it. TEST, verifies one by onemore points.

Online homework is a breeze, but it's daily homework. Quiz every week and 3 tests. She lectures well but you are expected to fill in a couple blanks

I took this professor for Math 115 and 125. She is the best math professor Ive had so far at Pierce College. She is always there to help you with any questions through email and during class. There are 4 test all 21 questions. Make sure you do all the hw. Dont skip Bc youll miss stuff. She is very kind and understanding. She knows your name too!

This is the only class that gives me good memories from the first semester of my first year in community college. Too sad she is leaving in 2 years and retiring and moving up north. She has been a saint. I will miss her. �� Math is my strength.
