Good professor. Wrote papers every week, in class discussions, took attendance and students graded papers not professor. Alright class

Excellent teacher. Very nice and respectful. Open to class participation a lot. Had two long papers. Got an A. Deserved it :)

I definently recommend taking one of her courses on the Middle East since in taps into many of today's hot political topics. She requires a lot of books, however you can still do well w/out doing all readings. Midterm and final are papers, which makes it easier. Takes attendance daily.

No doubt, the easiest teacher I've ever had while at the QC. She decided to not give us a midterm and a final. All's she had us do is write 1-2 page papers about what we discussed in class. Not only that, but the students graded them themselves. It was joke. Easy grades all around!

Ok who is easier? Her or Professor Croce-king.

Nice Teacher, but this semster a lil different from other classes she taught. 104 she gave us a Cummalative FINAL. 60questions. Very Hard. MUst read the entire book,though she gave me a B+ and 2 papers. 260, we only had to hand in 2, group papers I got a A-

I enjoyed her class . For a tough and controversial topic , she did manage it well. She is fair and balance. She is not hooked on convention, is fun ,and very knowlegeble . EXCELLENT CHOICE.

Shes the best... Take her for everything you can - show a little effort and she will reward you big time. She makes my GPA happy happy.

One word to describe this professor is simply amazing. helpful,kind,caring, pretty cute and her tests are not hard if you study.

easy class...BUT SO BORING...makes u regret taking it so much...i havent done the reading in weeks..sometimes gives surprise quizzes...but not often...boring..slow...and even more boring...

i was looking forward to this class and now i regret it, she is so boring and you have to read for every class because she just calls on people from the attendence book its like your back in 3rd grade, the matrial is kind of interesting but she makes you fall asleep, befor coming to class make sure you drink expresso

I enjoyed her class, to the fullest. 25 page paper to write.(department's requirement) no final, no midterm, just the paper and presentation, not bad at all. Very interesting.. She's really nice, and very helpful.

Great Professor, the best professor out of the whole psci dept. Very helpful,generous and mild mannered professor.

Prof.Flamhaft is the best,she is smart,helpful and knowledgable.Queens college should hire more professors like Flamhaft. :)

very nice professor and easy grader. Go to class, do the assignmnents and participate n u will get a good grade. Most students love her and take her for whatever they can. I recomend her. In my class we had to write 8 papers and we had to grade each other, but the papers were not hard. take her, trust me....

Great teacher! Interesting course... however it involves writing 8 papers, grading your classmate's papers and participating in class.You have to do your own research for the papers in this class. Highly recommended if you do not mind doing the work.

She is a great Professor, has alot of knowledge especially anything that deals with the Middle East. If you dont mind learn about the M.E then this professor's class is right for you. She was a lot easier until this plp in the class been annoying her.

Professor Flamhaft is awesome, she is the best, because she beats all the rest. Her class is enjoyable. She respects her students and teaches the course real well.

She is repetative, but she is a very soft hearted person. 1st of all students you treat her class like it is a take out at a restaraut. then show when up ever you feel like. some of the students cant keep quiet and talk and walk out the class. If you want to pass then this class is for you. if you are for a challenge then this class is not for you.

Awesome Professor if you actually take the time to read the text, keep up with current events, and participate in class. Those who rate her so poorly are the typical students who want to slack off like high school and get a "free" grade.

She really does try to engage you, but I feel like she tries to impose her views on students. She gives out a syllabus but doesn't follow it at all so 4 classes in & you've given up on the course. Two papers, 1 super easy final. You can make it work for you. She's not very available outside of class (I don't think she is, anyway).

Her class requires participation. The midterm is a paper and the final is a vocab test, that's all. She tells you to read a nice amount of pages from the book for every class but only some really kept up with the readings. She clearly knows a lot about international politics and it was interesting to listen to her. Pretty good professor overall.

She is an excellent professor who knows an exceptional amount about her subject. I took her for both her Middle Eastern politics class and my seminar. Participation is a MUST. If you don't speak, she will call on you randomly. Essays have to be well written and cited extensively, but as long as you show you care a little, she'll meet you halfway

Class is not that difficult at all. The Prof. truly knows how to explain the materials she is teaching. Also class is pretty laid back. The prof. also truly cares about her students. If something happens that is going to conflict with your grades for this class, she will try her best to help you out.

great teacher. you just need to show up and raise your hand once and you're set. she based my classes grades off a midterm paper that was 4 pages, a test that was all definitions and she lets us go open notebook (i doubt she will do that again), and a 2 page paper on 4 things learned in class. easy A.

I've taken Professor Flamhaft many times and I do recommend taking her classes. The ONLY thing I might need to warn others about is that she has an opinion and if you differ from that opinion then she will spend forever trying to disprove you until you both get frustrated and end it. She gives a few papers and sometimes an exam (Easy).

-I love her! She is amazing kind & intelligent. But the class is student-centered & there is no lecturing. Readings are long. She tracks who & how much u participate! Participation is vital to doing well; she expects u to have lots of knowledge on the Mid East; read up on the news. Easy A for essays- but not based on class readings, only research!

She was an awesome proffesor. Interesting course (middle eastern politics), one midterm paper and two final papers. I prefer papers than actual tests lol. Make sure you participte. She knows her stuff by heart.

Very good professor! All you have to do is skim through the chapters to see what the class that day will be on. A must is a membership or someway to access a newspaper. Online version the day of the class works too! The first 20-35 min of the class is just discussing then she lectures very lightly. Easy grader, lets the students decide the papers.

she is very smart and helpful. i like how she helps you to write your papers. i never wrote papers in my life and now after i wrote my seminar paper in professor Flamhaft's class i can say that i am confident enough to write papers. she gives you good grade if you do your part of the job. Most of all i enjoyed her class as it was conversational.

she writes when you participate in class which is a lot of your grade so talk in class! There's a really easy midterm paper and in class final with separate closing statement so pretty easy class. You should get textbooks and have them opened during class so she thinks you read but you really don't need to just fake it. Overall pretty good choice

incredibly easy class. just participate in the beginning of the class when she asks about relevant middle eastern news. other than that there are 2 easy A papers for midterm and final that she pays someone else to grade for her. I basically never paid attention and stopped going midway through the semester and got an A.

Amazing professor, work load is fairly light for the type of class at hand, she cares about participation though, so make sure you participate! Would take her again for all my poli sci classes if i could.

I love her and her story !! She is such an inspirational professor. Definitely take her!! She gives one writing assignment, two essays which are straightforward and easy to write about. All you have to do is participate once so she can write your name down, shes very easy !!!

She is great, its not too much to earn participation. You just raise your hand and she writes your own name down. She isn't a hard grader in fact she is very fair. She gives one paper and one final which is basically vocabulary.

I wish I had Professor Flamhaft for PSCI 260 as well! She makes hard subjects very clear and she keeps the balance in the class. Also she has a very sharp knowledge for political science. She's also very helpful, understanding and caring.

Prof. Flamhaft is a real gem. Because classes are online, she conducts her courses over zoom and requires cameras to be on. While this sounds annoying, I really recommend taking her class because she is a very educated and captivating person. She cares about her students. The key to this class is participation, so take part in the zoom classes!

I absolutely love her! She is super nice, and really knows her stuff. The class is really easy. All you have to do is participate in the class and write couple of papers and you will get an A in the class. I wish qc had more professors like her

I don't know why there are bad reviews about her recently but she is one of the coolest professors in QC. There is only a midterm paper and a final paper. Participation matters since it is an online class. You read the news every time before class and discuss it with everyone. Definitely easy A. Take her you won't regret it.

Awesome Professor and awesome class! Participation matters a lot so don't be afraid to speak up and share in class! Only 2 papers- one for midterm and for the final exam. Very nice Professor who wants to hear your opinion, so as long as you speak and share, your guaranteed an A.

she is a rockstar. Yes she asks students to share the news, because the whole class is centered on world news.. she provides great feedback, is very caring, smart, and loves her students. We need more of her at QC.
