I highly recommend her for psychology! She is so nice and explains all the concepts so well. She offers SO much extra credit(like A LOT) and wants to see you do well. As long as you take notes her tests are easy and clear. She doesnt try to trick you with any questions. I liked her so much I'm taking her again next semester!

I had Dr. Z for Intro to Stats and she is honestly one of the best teachers in CGCC. She gives out A LOT of extra credit points but it's not like you'll need it cause her tests are easy. She explains everything clear and is always ready to answer questions. It's rare to get out of this class without an A.

Dr Z is an awesome teacher! She's organized, updates grades frequently, and energetic. Be prepared to take notes daily. No surprises in tests, questions are straight from notes and "quick quizzes". Tons of xtra credit opportunities. Couple of major assignments requiring a lot of time but pretty easy material.

Dr. Z is an amazing and funny teacher, often showing us clips from movies and TV shows to illustrate psychological principles. Occasionally, she may conduct a class experiment in which she peers into your mind. The class is very easy if you put in the effort. All the material on exams are either available online, in the textbook, or in the notes.

I was a little afraid of Stats before I took it with Dr.Z afr this semester I think I love stats!! She is the best professor at CGCC. She cares alot about her students success, she offers extra credit (I didn't even need to do) Its open note-book tests so that you don't need to memorize formulas. There's about 1-2 assignments per week. Tests aren't bad if you pay attention in class. I would definitely take another class from her.

Dr Z was awesome. She creates a fun and positive learning environment. For a statistics class, this was a fun class. She comes into class each day with a positive and high energy level. Her lectures are clear and concise. Getting an "A" is very possible if you attend class and do the homework. Oh, tests are open book and notes.

This was a fantastic class! Dr. Z really understands that we all learn differently, and all her lectures are clear, informative, and colorful. In class you do a lot of fun group activities. You will need to read to do well on the test, but if you do your homework and the reading, it's not too hard to do well. Two thumbs up!

Dr.Z is the MOST organized teacher I've had this semester. She has a Ph.D in clinical psychology- SHE KNOWS WHAT SHES TALKING ABOUT!! Lectures are fascinating--there's never a dull moment in this class. My honors project for this class was a film analysis, SUPER FUN and pretty easy. If I could receive my entire college education from Dr.Z, I would!

Ab. Psych. Clear expectations, almost dropped because there is a lot of writing & reflection I was not expecting. I learned a lot about myself & the people around me. The modules become an instant summer movie list due to the movie clips given. Lots of extra credit opportunities, just pay attention to the syllabus & participate in discussions!

Dr. Z knows her stuff! Clear instruction on assignments, Fun videos to help explain the concept. A bit of work per week, but by no means a heavy load. Just do the assignments and you'll get a good grade. Sometimes she sneaks in some easy extra credit so pay attention!

I can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Z was for my PSY230 course. I hate math/numbers but I fully enjoyed this course. The work was "easy" if you took notes (she covered everything in class so there is no guessing) and you are allowed to use your notes and book on tests. I would take any class with Dr. Z if I had the option.

Dr Z, is a very good professor. She makes the content very easy to understand and relatable. She gives a ton of assignments and makes sure EVERYONE in class participates. Gives some extra credit opportunities but they do not come often.

Weekly problem sets, a few exams and an easy project at the end. Follow along with the lectures and you'll be fine.

I'm not a fan of math but she teaches it in a way that is easy to understand and provides many real world examples. As long as you study and take notes you should finish the class with at least a B if you put in effort. Profesor Z is AMAZING! If you struggle with organization and following along she provides the most detailed and helpful instructions, videos, etc for each module. I cant imagine how much time and work she puts into her stuff but it really pays off. Cannot recommend her enough!

I took this class because I needed an honors course so I expected it to be somewhat difficult. The concepts are easy to learn as long as you do the reading and activities. The work is time consuming but not that difficult. Since it is online I havent gotten to interact with her much but she seems really kind! I would take her class again :)

I thought statistics would be hard but Dr Z made it super easy. She cares a lot about her students and answers any questions you may have very thoroughly. You also get an opportunity to conduct your own study which was super fun. Reading the textbook is very helpful, but if ur too busy you can get away with watching the lecture vid only.

Dr. Z made this class interesting and fun. She posts videos every week to help with learning the content. I did not read the book as I found it more confusing. I made sure to follow her module. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. She truly cares and makes sure she is available! I would recommend her class to anyone taking 230!

Amazing feedback given by her, each assignment that had to be submitted received some sort of feedback. The textbook for the class is provided through a free PDF online. She makes sure to thoroughly explain concepts and answer questions to the best of her ability. A new topic is taught each week along with a DQ and a paper to prove understanding.

Can't say enough good things about her. She has super funny and engaging coursework, awesome about providing feedback, and honors PSY101 with her is about the best paced course I've ever take for the amount of material you cover. It is a lot of material, be prepared to work hard, but she gives you the perfect amount materials and support to thrive.

Dr. Z is the best I was able to get an A with the help of her if you struggle with statistics make sure you choose Dr. Z as your professor and not even just for statistics for any other psychology classes. You will get an A if you try.

The most organized and structured class I have ever taken. Literally. You receive a schedule with every single assignment, test, exam, etc. in the beginning, which is super helpful. Keep on eye out for Easter eggs, this is easy extra credit. Lots of work, but very manageable if you set deadlines for yourself. Love Dr. Z!

I took her class last semester, which was arguably my most enjoyable. Her lectures were easy to understand and engaging. Her homework assignments helped me better understand the concepts she taught and her tests were difficult but fair. As long as you did the work and participated in class, you would do well on the tests.

I couldn't recommend Dr. Z more! She is an amazing professor. If you put in the effort and genuinely want to learn statistics, you will get an A. Lots of lectures through YouTube you need to watch to succeed. I didn't use the textbook and still got an A. I spent about 10 hours a week on assignments. Dr. Z was great! I was worried because I had never taken a stats class before and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I did the hybrid course which was super organized and easy to navigate. She offers a lot of extra credit and wants students to succeed. Highly recommend her class!

If you're worried about statistics, take Dr. Z's course. She genuinely made me understand and enjoy statistics. I took the hybrid course and it was very organized. There is a lot of stuff due in a week, but it's easy to get done if you put effort in. She wants you to succeed, it's almost impossible to fail the class if you just do the work.
