His class is easy and he will let you pass as long as you come to class and take notes. He won't give you hard time in getting good grade. I took it last semester and I got A as lots of people in that class did. The whole class said that his lecture was worth taking.

I think he is too easy on the other students, he is very understandable and very nice, you probably wont find another professor like him. Tests were kind of hard to me... very tricky, good professor though, I recommend you take his micro bio class.

Amazing. A master of teachers. I was traumatized by a high school bio teacher...professor Li showed me that Bio is not a lion but a kitten. He wants you to get it and he puts it where can actually grasp it. He is wonderful example for other bio profs who make bio seem inaccessible.

Covers a lot of material in class. Gives review before test clearly stating which chapters to study for. Very detailed with notes and even gives sample question that show up on test .Gives no homework just 4 test each with 40 questions multiple choice and a final with a practical based on dissections done in lab.

He was the best porf ever. i was a freshmen, the first day i enter the class i was so scary about it because i'm bad in science. but in this class, if you take down all the note and studies it every night, even if you just take few min to review every night, you would find it's helpful for you. because we don't use text book in this course.

He was amazing!! He made bio so easy! It was such a good idea to have him for lab on Tuesdays right before my Thursday bio lectures. This always made my lecture notes easier to understand. He writes his notes on the whiteboard so make sure you copy everything as they are on the tests! No pop quizzes, just show up to class and you will be fine!

Overall I had a great experience with professor Li I haven't been doing great from the start but I knew that the final would count the most. His lectures may be heavy and alot of notes but if you go home and study those same notes then you'll be fine when the tests come. Professor Li cares for his students so theirs no reason you should fail. :)

My favorite professor so far. This was during the COVID-19, it was online. No lectures just labs, really easy, you just have to read it and answer the questions and submit quizzes for every lab. Super easy, all the answers are in the labs. Exams were easy as well the lab has everything word for word. Just do the work and you'll be fine. Super nice.

Made this class very easy and less of a burden which is much appreciated. He provided the notes and did not do lectures. Always willing to answer questions. Quizzes are short and easy every week for every chapter. Notes were short and concise. Only 4 exams about every 3-4 chapters. Homeworks very simple as well usually based on youtube videos.

I took this Professor for Bio1100 during the summer. The class went by smooth. All I can recommend is study the notes he gives you and you should pass the tests, do the HW and Quizzes based off of the notes he gives and you should be fine. He is also a nice professor, take him.

Professor Li was my lab teacher and his class was very straightforward. He does not assign any PP slides, all notes are written on the board. There are 4 exams and if you study the notes from class, there is no reason not to get a good grade. The exams are 40 multiple-choice questions and are not too challenging.

One of the top things that makes him the best professor is that before the exams he gives some answers to the questions that will appear in the exams. Not only that, but his exams aren't that complex or hard. As long as you attend the class and memorize the information he gives, you will learn a lot and pass with a good grade.

During lectures, he explained everything very well, but note-taking is crucial. Those notes would be useful for exam reviews, as everything mentioned, especially lab results, is likely to be tested. In labs, he demonstrated the experiments before we did, and writing lab reports was pretty straightforward.

Mr. Li is a wonderful teacher every class assignment he assigns is easy and quick. Anytime we had a quiz was exactly what he taught in class. He's is very respectful and is willing to help you if you struggling in class. I would take his class again if I could.

I loved Professor Li 10/10 would recommend. My class was lecture & lab in one so it was very long but he gave breaks and made the long hours bearable, he gave extra credit for wearing a lab coat and made sure everyone understood the material. Seriously could not have asked for a better professor.

If you want to learn biology, please take his class. By far one of the best professors Ive come across. I took the summer session so everyday was a new chapter but he didn't make it overwhelming. The class does get boring at times as it is a 2 and a half hour class, but he is a professional who really enjoys what he does. You can tell he loves Biology and he is respectful to the students. Go to class, Copy everything he writes on the board because his notes are literally the answer key to his tests. Take your science requirement with him.
