Ms. Garcia was a fair professor and extremely helpful. Her class is not easy but A&P is a tough course and should not be easy. If you read the book and put in the work,you will do fine. I enjoyed having her.

She was a new teacher so the first 6 wks were extremely hard, but after she got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing.I think everyone should take her now!She was very helpful you just have to ask,quick response with email,GIVE HER A CHANCE!You have to study for the class!Gives good reviews. I would take her again!

She is the ONLY A&P teacher at TCCTR that gives her own custom review for both lec AND lab tests. DEF recommend her- she does everything she can to set you up to do well. It's hard because it's college level anatomy... what do you expect? I have taken AP at other TCC campuses and dropped- trust me- it could be SOOOO much worse! Do the reviews :)

She was pretty great. Her reviews were awesome and helpful when studying for tests. Would take her again if I needed to.

Ms. Garcia drew visuals on the board which were very helpful. I only had her for lab and I WISH I had her for lecture. She was clear about what to expect and all of the exam questions were from material on the review. I have taken other A&P professors and I much prefer Ms. Garcia.

I had her for lab only. She was always prepared and very helpful. Answered questions when she knew the answers and found the answers when she did not. Her accent Is not bad at all, like some said. She helped with our labs and got us ready for tests. She also graded our tests quickly; while we waited sometimes. Good instructor and nice person.

I took her for A&P2 fall of 2015 and I got an A+ so yes it's possible of course you must read and understand! the chapters and do her reviews and you will get an A. Also pay attention to when the online quizzes are due they are too easy too not do.

Hard class. Had to read a lot, spent hours studying. She is a good teacher, it's up to us to learn it. She used a lot of visuals and figures from the book so we could all see how the things work. Yea, there wasn't much of things that weren't in the textbook but we really didn't need to add more to such a huge textbook. And she barely has an accent.

I noticed her tests are heavily associated with the lecture and lab textbooks as well as her quizzes and learnsmarts. Make sure you read and do your assignments before showing up. She expects her students to study outside the classroom as much as they can!

Don't be afraid bc of reviews. She's a good teacher and she does care about her students. She's definitely willing to work with you, you just have to ask! :) She switches the way she teaches in class. It's unique! You def need txtbook. She also provides great reviews. Again, don't be afraid. This isn't an easy subject so you do have to work for it.

I didn't do very well on my first couple of tests so I went to talk to her and she gave me advice on how to study. I did much better on all the other tests. This is class where you learn a lot as long as long as you are willing to put the time in.

- Shes knowledgable about the subject, and its impressive that she lectures from the top of her head. - I didnt enjoy her style of teaching at first but I liked her more as time went by. Students want to be spoon fed thats why they hate her. - She will help you if you ask for help. - Don't forget to set reminders for the quizzes.

She's a great professor. The subject however is hard no matter who you have. I made a B & only studied for exam the night before, not even reviewing all chapters. I made decent grades on lab quizzes & did all learnsmarts/quizzes. An A is definitely possible you just have to put in some time. I would take exams not knowing a couple chapters..

Professor Garcia was amazing! I took her for an 8 week A&P 2 course and she was super helpful. The course is hard but she does a really good job explaining if you have any questions. The tests come straight from the book so you HAVE to read. I would definitely recommend her.

You should never go into a class expecting to be gifted a grade; this class is no exception. That said, what she ask from you is reasonable and in my opinion, just what's needed to really learn the information. I would definitely take her again.

a very great teacher. she takes her time with the students and spends time after class if you need help. She doesnt give out grades but she is willing to help you with anything that you need.

Ms. Garcia is a naturalized U.S. citizen from another country that puts high value on education. Her understanding of what it means to be a good student is different from what our schools expect of students, these days. That said, she is a good teacher as long as students do their part. Read and do your work; you'll be fine.

I took the 8-week class and it was a lot of work, but not too bad. Her lectures come right out of the book. If you do all of the homework and study, you can do well. There are quizzes, which help with the grades.

Zuzana is first and foremost a wonderful compassionate teacher. When approached with any concerns about the course or material will go out of her way to ensure you understand the topic. You have to read, this is A&P, you have to read. There are no surprises on any tests or homework, the curriculum is from the textbook. Study and you'll be fine.

Professor Garcia stepped into our class when our professor took a 8 week leave in the middle of the semester. She was wonderful! So helpful and was willing to meet after class hours. She knows the material extremely well and is able to teach it.

Do not walk into an 8-week biology class and expect it to be easy. This class is FAST and the exams are HARD. But it is doable if you are willing to put in the time and effort. This professor is willing to meet outside of class time and she is extremely knowledgable. Lab homework and learnsmarts will help bump your grade.

She really knows her stuff. I loved her as a teacher but you still need to know the material. If you're dedicated to learning and wanting to get a A take her. She was always open to meet and will explain things in an easy way. Literally the smartest teacher I have ever had!

I would highly recommend taking this professor for A&P2. She is legitimately the smartest professor I've had. She doesn't just regurgitate stuff from the book, she really knows the material front and back. So refreshing to finally have a professor that knows her stuff and is great at teaching. I left every class with a better understanding.

Great professor. She knows her stuff and is willing to explain anything until you understand. Her interaction in lab with the students was exceptional. Would definitely take this professor again. It is a very hard class, but she gives you everything you need to know to study and do well.

Great instructor. Willing to help students, sometimes is difficult to catch up what she saids as she tends to speak really fast.. No power point are used or put on blackboard, straight from the book. Sometimes does not use blackboard for student communication but uses Google Classroom instead (friendly use). I would take her class again.

I definitely reccomend taking professor Garcia! She is a great teacher and broke it down well enough for me to understand! A&P is a very hard class and it does require alot of studying on your own. She is willing to help and answer questions. She goes over everything on exams just take notes. Also gives extra credit! I reccomend her 8 weeker.

She is very knowledgeable about a&p and she gives many examples throughout her lectures to relate the material to the real world. I took the 8 week blended course and over half of the online homework was based on lab work that we completed in class so if you miss a class you'll get a 0 for the assignment. Also be ready the textbook front to back.

This class is an 8-week a&P class and difficult but she actually teaches or gives you the material to better yourself. Make sure you watch her lectures and practice the material. Online learning wasnt all that bad!! I would take her classes again. She is easy to understand and says it in a way that helps the material makes since.

A&P 2 is hard. Thats the truth. You cant pass if you cram the day before exam. I really enjoyed the visible body software we had provided for us, it was super helpful. Tests were difficult, but if you watched the lectures shed give you tips and hints. There were many assignment that could boost your grades, you just have to stay on top of it.

Someone said there were 200 questions - there were about 70-80 questions - a FEW were multiple answers. It was 90 minutes for the test and I didnt spend more than an hour for each. A lot was completion - just do your stuff!!

An 8 week A&P class is always going to be intense. And in the current Covid climate, you're going to be learning A&P as well as how to take quizzes and labs online. That being said, Professor Garcia does an excellent job making it doable. Her lectures are well done and she makes the difficult material easy to understand.

When I first read the other comments on here I got scared about taking her, but I had no choice cause she was my only option. I am so HAPPY I took her she is Amazing and all the other people complaining are just lazy and expect everything handed to them. Take her class and study , great lectures, responds messages fast ! ����

Professor Garcia knows her stuff about A&P and will only quiz you on the stuff she tells you about in her lectures and give you homework on. If you dont watch her lectures and want to read the book yourself, go ahead but you dont have to. Shes very knowledgable and doesnt read from a powerpoint. Her lectures are packed with only useful information.

Professor Garcia is one of the best professors I've ever had. Her expectations in the class were clearly laid out with a specific grading criteria and syllabus. She's so funny and you have many assignments which just means you have more chances to get an A. Watch the lectures, do the assignments, and read the chapters! She also gives extra credit!

8 week course - hardest class I've ever taken, but Garcia is an incredible teacher and knows the material unbelievably well. Go to online sessions-She is great at answering questions and thoroughly explaining the material. Don't take this class if you want to slack off/slide by, but if you're actually interested in learning, this woman is amazing.

My favorite professor thus far. She was available outside of class if needed. She had a google text thing set up and answered questions right away. She made things easy to understand and she offered offer credit but you had to at least watch the lectures to know what it was.

1st thing: this class is HARD period! 2nd: Ive taken and dropped this class before. She was the best teacher. You could text her anytime, she gave extra credit, and her videos were great with helpful tips. Test are 80 questions, learnsmarts just suck period but an easy grade. Study, watch videos, take lots of notes! Give her a chance!!

Accelerated 8 week course, it was hard but manageable. I made an A. she gives extra credit, do it. Labs are quite time consuming. Shes a great professor who truly seems to care, shes personable, and shes adorable with her accent. No reason to not take her.

I took Professor Garcia for the 8-week A&P II class. The fact that this is an accelerated class just means that an already difficult course is just going to be more difficult and time consuming. She uses proctorio for her exams which means students are going to get 150ish auto-generated questions and have 2 1/2 hours to complete the exam.

Took her for an 8 week A&P2 class. Do the smart book, do the recharge and the labeling practices. The tests are from the smart book assignments. She also gives extra credit! Do it!

Professor Garcia was an amazing teacher! I took the 8 wk course&it was pretty hard but she provided lecture videos and in class covered much of the major sections of the chapters. The lecture part of the exams were very difficult so read a lot and make sure you understand the material. The lab portion was pretty easy and really fun and interesting.

GO TO CLASS TO GET LAB WORKSHEETS DONE AND LISTEN TO HER LECTURES. USE VB & SMARTBOOKS AS STUDY MATERIAL FOR EXAMS. Use her lectures/nearpods for review, they're so useful. Study the histology slides in her histology file on canvas. study the models she has out & are in the SLC. Hard class but not impossible. lots of homework, but helps you a lot.

Textbook was necessary and I would advise to read and take notes before class. In the 8 weeks a lot of material is covered but is doable. She has grades for smartbooks, lab papers, and visible body which are helpful and stack up helping out the overall grade, but on the test if you read the book it helps immensely! No final only 3 exams.

Took AP2 as a summer course, so I knew what I was getting into. However, Mrs. Garcia is a fantastic instructor and I understood topics exponentially better than I did in AP1. She provides excellent feedback, and the labs tell you what you need to study in order to succeed. She also had reviews for the lecture portion which massively helped.

Prof. Garcia is a good instructor! She lectures on important topics, but her class also requires independent study. Doing the Smart Book and Visible Body work is essential to do well! Some lab assignments can take a while to finish, but they do help you in the end. If you can hold yourself accountable for studying on your own time, take her!

I took the 8 week course, be prepared to use SLC resources and study for multiple hours a day. Exams are 150 questions long and reviews have extra credit questions, better off reading the book and taking the SmartBooks as much as you can as the exams are Connect heavy. Take the McGraw Hill picture reviews as they are almost always on the exam.

She really isn't as bad as the reviews make it seem. Ive learned a lot in her class but it definitely requires a lot of independent learning. Her lectures aren't the best but overall if you just read the textbook and do the lab assignments you'll do fine. Pay attention to the textbook figures, SB questions, and reviews for exams
